WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY

I have been neglecting my flowers for the past week and the weeds seemed to have known that I wasn’t there as much lol so today was spend weeding everything. Not a very glamorous job that is for sure. Like the cleaning out the stable is with horses, not pretty but necessary or your world gets full of crap .lol.

On the plus side I got to see up close and personal all of my flowers and lots of little things that you miss when just walking by.

About a month ago I planted some seeds of Cannas and found them to be coming up not sure which color is growing but hopefully a little of all of them,  Tomorrow I will continue cleaning them all up and spray for weeds in the pathways and I should be caught up again. Will sprinkle lots of Preen in the areas that I weeded today and they should be good for at least 6 to 8 weeks before I have to do it again.

 

Andrew and Susan were a delight to have as guest and soon to be tenants. Lol Sounds weird to think about us as landlords.

 

 

 

BECKY::: good morning lady…lol although I do make Shrimp salad some times yesterday we had salad and a side of shrimp that I sauted with some garlic, onions and  red pepper flakes. It was eaten I guess it was good. Lol

Wow those are some loaded questions you ask or rather the bucket list ask huh?

Have I found Joy, you bet you, just life in general is my joy, family and friends I have found are the true measure of joy, I use to think when I was young that if I had things that would bring me joy , if this would happen I would have joy or that would happen I would have joy but really only the love of my Savior and the love I have for him is real lasting joy. Joy in the fact that when you get up every morning it is the first thing I think of saying thank you Lord for this wonderful day that is Joy.

And have I brought Joy to others??? Well I hope so I give as much of myself as I can to others and none of that giving is every wasted even if it isnt received with as much Joy and I give it but I will continue to give as that is the gift that God gave Joe and I to give to others and care for others. I don’t think I would want to live if I wasn’t allowed to give to others at all. that is part of my Joy too.

Well after all of that . what did you do today. Haven’t heard anything from you was just wondering.

 

 

SHEILA::::: so you go for test on your head Monday? That is good. Maybe that will tell you something about the roaring noisy. Did they say that is one of the side effects of the implant sometimes.?

I have got to get into my veggie garden tomorrow and hoe it all out the weeds are growing in there really well.

I think I have spread myself a little thin , will be glad when Andrew and Susan get here maybe they will help me keep everything pretty lol . just kidding guys.

Seems like everyone is looking for a good gas mileage used car. From the looks of the car lots all the trucks are being traded in for big mileage cars…

 

 

 

JANET::::: hope you got the pool all painted. That has to be a big job of painting. Yeah that is pretty expensive for paint.

Wow that was  a pretty good rain wasn’t it? We didn’t get but 3/10 out of it.

 

Hey that was luck that you could use Darrels clothes for Jon, but from the looks of them it wont be many more years before Jon will probably pass Darrel up in size or from the looks of their frame when I met them I thought so.

 

That will be a good profession to be for Megan but don’t worry if she changes her mind at least she will have thought about each and every area to be or not to be.

 

Lol when we get the rental house done we still have the guest house to finish. We got stopped fixing that one up because our granddaughter moved in there and was impossible to work on it with her having 2 babies there and all their stuff. Was just too crowded.

 

Loved all of your post on what Joy is to you. Good writing, good reading.

 

 

DEBBIE   M:::: you sure have some silly stories , the one with the bull was about as funny as the mouse.

Yeah we are thinking about doing something or going somewhere when we get all of this house done. We are to the pretty stuff now so it is getting easier. The demolition and repairing is what takes forever and a day.

The flowers keep getting prettier every day. The morning glories and balsam and zinnias are all getting ready to bloom , they always add so much color it seems.

 

 

 

NUTTI::::: yeah I still have trouble lifting some of the stuff I use to be able to do. I was always so strong before I got fat. I could lift about as much as a lot of men but sure cant do that now. I can work for long periods of time but when my body says your done then im done lol

I wi****oo were only 2 points from being normal , I don’t think I will ever get there , I will have to be 130 pounds to be considered normal I think it is and I just cant see myself ever getting there. I feel pretty comfortable where I am . if I had the flab tightened then I would love where I am but I guess I will learn to be happy with what I have lol

LORI::::: hey that is neat that you finally found you a nice place to move too but im glad it is you and not me moving. I hope we aren’t suppose to move from here some day in the future. I love where we are right now. And hope that God has planted me here.

Sounds like your little girl Jazlyn is a girl after my heart. Show her my web site it is full of flowers that I have planted. It is listed right under my name ..i need to put some more on there too but just haven’t had time.

When you get a better car you and your little girl will have to come out and see my flower gardens.

Tammy-Ammy:::::::well im glad that your family is making you behave. You sure don’t want that hernia to strangle you would really be in trouble. I know it isnt easy , I would be having a fit I know but you better do as they say. When is it you go to have the surgery?

I wouldn’t worry about what you will want to come home in from the hospital , you will want something comfortable that is for sure. So I wouldn’t worry about what to wear home from tummy tuck besides you will be swollen and wont be the size immediately after surgery. It will take a few weeks for all the swelling to go down.

You hang in there sweetie you will be climbing ladders and painting ceilings before long. You will get use to being small one day soon.

Did you have to kill anyone to go swimming yesterday. The light weight of your body in water would probably feel good.

Morning Jan. I couldnt sleep so I got up to get a drink and get some fresh air.. I had to tell you all that I went Swimming for my first time in 12 years today..It felt awesome. I was so happy. Helped my back some. Iam going to be doing it more often I think. Love you all..God Bless..Craig Lee

Well, Happy Fathers Day to everyone ! !  I know there are single moms out there that are both the mother and father so this is your day !!! Yesterday, we didnt get as much packing done as I would have liked. But, atleast we did some... laundry, and some spring cleaning...got some stuff thrown out that we wont need, use or noone else would want :D.  Today, I am hoping to finish packing up my room, and packing and protecting my picture frames. I am SOOOOOO ready !!! I am hoping to move the last week of the month, so if you dont see me on here until July you know why :). Jan, I will show Jazlyn the pictures today!! I have looked at them and she will love them!! We went to Walmart the other night and she said "Mom, can we go to the Garden dept? I need to get a plan****er thing.... so I can water my flowers when I get some?" (I thought it was so cute. ) She said well, "I only want 2 things for my Bday... one of the plan****er thing and a Hannah Montana guitar!!" LOL!! Her bday is October 24th!! Her mind will change about 50 times between now and then... but she will want her "water plant thing" still.... I am planning on cooking a nice lunch or dinner today... maybe both!! :) Have a great day and stay blessed~*!

Good evening MO!  Well, I got up this morning and went to a new church I haven't been to church in a while and with being in a new city I finally brought myself to get up and go.  It was nice but I miss my chur*****C I think I will try another one next week I need to find where I want to continue the one I went to today was a bit far so maybe I can get one closer? I have a job interview tomorrow (yeah!)  It's for part-time cause I'm on disability and can only work a certain amt. of hours and still get my disability.  It's only at Dillons (grocery store) at this point I will take just about anything cause I'm running out of savings and I haven't worked in a month.   The other day I went to a little pet store up the street and the owner and I was talking and I asked him if he knew of any dog grooming schools around Wichita.  He told me the name and number of this one guy who teaches it at a reasonable price so I called him.  It's a 10 week course and in the time period he said you would have groomed over 250 dogs and got a lot of experience and your state license.  It's $850 for the course he said you could pay $250 down and $60 a week.  You all know me and how I love dogs so this really interested me a lot.  I would love to do something with dogs (to me it would be better than working any other place!  LOL)  So what I'm hoping will happen is that I can get this job at Dillons (they pay weekly...Yeah!) and I can get the $250 together and pay the dwn pymt on the course and hopefully by Mid September I will be a groomer that would be so cool I think.  I would have never thought I could do grooming at my highest weight 4 1/2 months ago but now I know I can do it!  I'm really excited about this so please pray for me that this will all work out and I will get the job at Dillons tomorrow. I have to stop weighing myself every day it's driving me crazy!  It's like one day I will be down and the next I will be up 2-3 lbs, well I weighed a little bit ago and I was up 4lbs! OMG I panic and changed and rushed up to the YMCA before they closed to walk on the treadmill and try to burn some calories.  I am totally at a stall (bump in the road) and I think it's because of the CARB MONSTER!!!!  Every since Jan brought that to my attention the other day about maybe I was eating too many carbs I have been more aware of what I am eating and I have noticed especially today that I ate too many carbs!!!!!  I have to stop that now I did not come this far and go through all that I did to be gaining cause I'm eating too many carbs that's not going to happen.  I'm sticking to veggies, and protein stuff staying away from the carb stuff I'm afraid that is why I am stuck right now and not losing.  It's amazing to see what all has carbs in it and how many.   I went to the famers market yesterday and got a few home grown tomatoes (they said they were grown here and no pesticides?) I got a few onions oh and I bought a jar of cucumber relish (sugar free) I have never had that before so they gave me a taste and I thought it was good so I bought a jar of it.  Don't know what I will eat it with they suggested tortilla chips but I of course know better then that cause those are full of carbs aren't they? LOL  I enjoyed going to the farmers market maybe I will go again next Sat. morning and get some more veggies? Well, the sun has gone down now so I think I will go for a bike ride and get some more exercise (boy do I need that got to get rid of those 4 extra pounds the scale added on today...lol) Take care and God Bless, for those fathers out there I hope you had a good fathers day let's not forget to wish our all might father a happy fathers day as well.

Hey Everyone...

Wow what a time we had at Joe and Jans place,  we are so much more excited about moving now we really can't wait,  the house they are working so hard on is gonna be so gorgeous, when they are done then we we put our lil touch of decorating it done its gonna be great!!!  The way it's set up the living room has a ton of windows so we can sit in there and watch the deer and squirls all run around, we just love it, they are working so hard to get it done,  we helped some but I wasnt feeling all that hot so didnt get to help very much.  I ended up going to the ER this afternoon and found out I have a UTI, ugh, dunno how in the world I ended up getting that,  i drink a ton of water and stuff, today I've drank so much water and cranberry juice that I feel like Im gonna float away  lol,  I am feeling better tonight tho so thats good.

Jan you all are gonna make the perfect landlords, yes you are landlords now  lol Susan is so excited about decorating the house, we are thinking that we want to kind of decorate in a Southwestern type theme, when we are out in branson and other shops we can buy a piece or two at a time til we get it all like we want it.  Did Joe catch any fish??  I hope you both have taken some time to relax, your really working so hard on that house!!

Evening All... I hope everyone enjoyed their Father's day! I cooked ka-bobs on the grill after the storms, I think everyone was happy! Roy came by as well as Nicole and the grandkids. Jas and Wen stayed in Springfield but did call. We all had a great time! JAN...if nothing else, I can say that my life has been adventurous!!  I think the funniest story was back when I was a bus driver for the Metro and took a bus up to KCI. It was my first trip up there after training. I made a wrong turn and ended up on a active runway! I then tried to explain to my passenger that I knew what I was doing and begged security for forgiveness! ...lol, what a mess! As for the bull....after I hit it a few times, it ran to the back of our property and stayed there...I vould handle that. When David and the boys got home, there all went our there to scare it back over to it's own property! I stayed coward in my house with my dogs!!...lol I'm glad those neighbors moved!....lol They probably are too! I was going to play dress up, the make up version with Miss Emilie today but when Nicole got wind of that, she took Miss Emilie in and put a little make up on her...guess she couldn't handle me being the first at that too...lol No biggy, if it forces her to be more active making memories with her kids, then it's a good thing!  When life is over, all the ones left behind have are the memories...so make LOTS!!
