My avatar pic wont change !!!

Okay, now my avatar pic wont change.,.... but as soon as I hit send it will. WATCH! ! LOL! I have been waiting about 20 minutes for it to change... Am I doing something wrong? I also did shrinkpictures.com so that I can put an avatar on that changes and you can see a few pics at once but it will wont allow it on... I sure wish we could put up a count down clock... Oh well, I am going to try to remember to update my signature daily for my own count down for my surgery, scope and beginning of my liquid diet ;) I am soooo excited!!
