lori you probably would , if you could stand eating such a small amounts of food. remember that you have a bigger stomach to fill now than you will after surgery.  makes a lot of difference in things.

That makes alot of sense, DUH! On my part, LOL. I just would really like to lose some weight before the surgery and nothing seems to help I am getting frustrated it is like I am getting bigger and bigger and I am working at losing the weigh and it isnt going anywhere...  it is so heart breaking!! I realize that my thyroid is under active but c'mon!! So, I saw this and was gonna jump on it but really I dont think I can eat such small amounts at this time. lol. But, soon I will. I just have been really working to get under 300 before surgery and I am starting to think it isnt going to happen. The doc gave me some Phentermine, but I cant take it!! It gives me HORRIBLE headaches!! So, if anyone has any other ideas please let me know....

You know what, If I were you I would not try so hard to lose weight via dieting, if you start restricting calories now, before your surgery, when it's time to do the 2 week liquid diet, you won't lose as much weight, your body will already be trying to stall, holding on to every calorie because it will think your going to starve if it doesn't lol, the point of the 2 week liquid diet is to lose the maximum amount of weight in the shortest time  while still maintaining good nutrition. If you wanted to work out -walk  to raise your metabolism that would be great. Enjoy your last 6 wk.s of food, say your goodbyes. Good luck
