State of Missouri Employees!!

Anyone on here state of missouri employees with mercy health ins.  Just interested in your stories of getting approved.  I am waiting to get my 6 months of dr supervised diet to get approved any advice would be appreciated.

I work for the state and have had the surgery twice in the last year.  I did my 6 months with New Beginnings and I'm glad I did it there as then I was already established with everyone that takes care of you for the surgery.  I love Amy and Dr. Hertel.  I attended all my pre-meetings while in the 6 month stage so that once my six months was up, I was ready to go.  The day I found out insurance approved me (sent in on Friday and Mary called me on Monday) I started my liquid diet.  I had an appointment with Dr. Edwards a week after I received my approval and the next week I was having surgery.  My first one was 7-27-07 and my second one was 5-14-08.  I actually developed a leak which is not typical.  I get a fill on the 3rd and I am counting down the days.  I lost between 70 and 75 before the leak.   Keep on Mary though, she is busy and I just had to pester her.  Feel free to email me if you have any questions.  I just had to switch PCPs as my Dr. left St. Johns and Dr. Edwards suggested Dr. Michael Hogan so I meet him on the 9th to see if he will take me.  Once I got started on the 6 mth thing with New Beginnings, it seemed like it all fell in to place.   Jennifer

Hi Jennifer! I am searcing for a PCP through St. John's.  Have you seen Dr. Hogan yet?  If so, did you like him?  Tell me all you can about him:)  Where is he located?  I tried to find him at St. John's and they said there was not a Michael Hogan there. I appreciate your help! J.S.
