Any get togethers or support mettings in or near St. Louis

I am sure there is some up there somewhere...if not, start one on your own and post on here about it. I do know there is one at DePaul Hospital...Here is thier # you can call and see when they are. They are not as good as the more intimate and personal ones we have down here, but it will be a start. 314-344-6816.  The card I have from last year says that it is the 1st and 3rd Wed. of every month at 5:30-7:00PM at the May Center (DePaul is located at the intersection of I-70 and I-270 in Bridgeton. Hi Dee- Try going to Gayle Rice's profile @ http://www.obesityhelp.com/member/nanagayle/ and send her a PM. She does a support group in Fenton, MO at the Uthoff Elementary School.  I believe it is the first Monday of the month.  She sent me info earlier this week, but I wasn't able to go this month.  I plan on trying to go either next month or in September.  If you come across the JB Bridge then you could take 270 to Gravois or I44.  Either way, from the bridge it wouldn't be much more than probably 15 minutes.  Hope that helps. Hi there is a support group at St. Alexus which was once Southpoint on Miami st. off of Jefferson starting Aug. 4th every Mon. 6:00 is for Lap Band and 7:15 for RNY postops.  Very good group alot of great people hope to see you there.
