WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

on 7/9/08 1:32 pm - Cedar Creek, MO

Let me tell you no one is going to believe the day we have had. Called the septic service and told them we found the septic tank , It is up under the utility room (good grief)we ask if they could pump it out  of the  pipe that went into it? NO they have to have the lid off. WELL-------the only way to get to the lid is to take the laundry room floor up!!!! So out goes the washer , dryer , small freezer, and water heater. Remove the vinyl and remove the two layers of plywood, and dig and dig to find the darn thing, no this is just the pipe into the septic tank continue to dig some more it keeps going and going and then---the outside wall of the house and the pipe is still going , go outside and dig down about 2 feet and there the sucker is, now we have the floor all gone out of the laundry room that we have to replace ----again--- another call into the septic system place now waiting for them to call back….hope it wont be too many days till they come out. ….

It is our fault for not checking all of it out and replacing pipes like we knew we should, the house is old and the pipes are old and when you start moving them around some when you hook new things too them  they sometimes break and make total messes. So now we know good grief what a mess.

Poor Joe spent about 3 hours this morning under the house tracing down the  lines and where they went to. Crawling thru muck and mud and no telling what else. I made him keep washing off  his hands and face every time he came out from under there. `

Got a call back from the septic service and they will be here around 9:30 in the morning oh wow I figured we would have to wait days….Poor Andy and Susan, they are having to use the trailers bathroom , no ho****er in therir house right now all they have is cold since we had to take the water heater out of the laundry room too. I will make a trip to Home depot tomorrow AGAIN for more flooring for there and we will get that all down and repaired AGAIN…This place is going to kill us. Lol  reminds me of that movie (the Money Pit) I saw some time ago a comedy of sorts.

Vesta didn’t get to come, it was pouring down rain at her house and ours this morning and she said she didn’t know if it would continue or not and there was flash flood warnings out so she decided to try and come another day.

I have some really pretty lilies in bloom right now. Lot of zinnias , cosmos, balsum and 4;oclocks , cone flowers are at their peak too. Black eyed susans are getting ready to bloom. I am going to have to clear out some of the last two. They are too thick in the area they are in.

So happy that Cassie will be going home tomorrow , keep praying for her to be able to do so. I know she is more than ready to get out of there.

LORI:::: Hope you had a great birthday, what better gift than getting part of your pre ops out of the way.

How was it? Did you pass?

So happy that you got to meet up with Christine , so glad that she has you pumped to get your surgery.

ANGY::::; congradulations  now you are approved , Hope the next part of the wait isnt too long now.

SUGAR:::: lol im sure the fish know how to tell male from female but I don’t ….let me know what they say about how to keep the water clean. Im always interested in learning stuff too ok?

You said that you all might go to the N. C. with the in-laws but wasn’t for sure.

Sounds like a great trip.

The trip you have planed in Sept, when is that one? Not on the    5th , 6th is it?

Hope not.

Sounds like you have a trip or something about every two weeks lol.

SHEILA:::: oh how horrible . that guy was sick for sure. Don’t let that bother you , he didn’t mean anything to you and so his thought shouldn’t mean anything to you either.

Don’t let that jerk make you swear off all men, there are some really nice ones out there.

Or I think there are. Maybe I got the last one don’t know.lol

Sorry to hear that your having that roaring again. They cant find any reason why huh? And it comes and goes?

JANET::::: Janet don’t people know that , the bones on your neck and shoulders is suppose to show. Those are called beauty bones. Lol Please don’t let this get you down, You have such a great spirit  and love of life . People haven’t been use to seeing you like you are now and it upsets their whatever. You are a beautiful , vibrant woman . I know you said you didn’t want to hear that but it is the truth and you aren’t a freak.

You probably will be under normal bmi when you have the tummy tuck but if it makes you feel good to be thinner as long as you are eating and getting your protein and vits. I have just the opposite problem, I cant seem to lose anymore. I try and try but it just stays the same. Weird how this surgery works different on different people isnt it.?

How did the house up the road from you look? Could you see inside it ? and did you find out who owned it ?

Cant wait to hear what you see and hear at the baby exam this morning. Lol

That is weird the Group B Strep, I guess I never had that with any of my three. My third one I was sick for about 4 months but then I felt better except tired and my iron was extremely low. Had to take pills and shots 3 times a week to keep it half way up.

I like that name of Aunt Jan lol I am thrilled to be that to you.

Yeah you are right about the texts I am trying to write an email to her now saying to stop but everything I write sounds so mean and I keep erasing it lol

I will get it said soon. I want to get the point across tho.

RENEE:::: glad that you are taking steps to get a healthy lifestyle started. It is done one step at a time. So yeah it is big steps to you and that is what counts. Keep up the good work.

Cant wait to see you again….maybe you and Janet could start a car-pooling deal with some of the people in that area over there to the meetings.

Sure am sorry about the computer problems.

Oh glad to hear that you gave the boyfriend the ole heave ho. You deserve the very best.

SHANNON :::: so sorry you have such bites all over you. Cant you use something like skin so soft . it seems to work.

I think I got some poison ivy on me today, I maybe going to the doctor tomorrow to get a steroid shot to help get rid of that stuff.

So what did you pick out of the garden today????

CHRISTINE:::::  wow you have had some horrible things happen lately. Sorry that you have lost the grandmother, even if you were expecting it , it still hurt. And the Step sister that one really hurt . Know that if I could I would give you a big ole hug. Just know that most all of us here will be wishing you the very best and hope the heart mends soon.

Im glad that you got to meet up with Lori today, she is all excited now about her surgery after meeting and talking to you.

We will forgive you if you have to ask about something that is said or something , we will try to help catch you up.

LOVE AND HUGS

GOD BLESS

Hello Jan and everybody,      I am going to have a very busy thursday.  I will have 6 girls at my house all spending the night.  Friday is the Youth Quest camp through my church for k-2nd grade, all of my daughters friends want to go so I get to have them all here and transport them for the camp.  I am camp nurse and counselor too.  I am not complaining I love to do this, but whew it gets crazy at times.  I have to assume I will be hearing the music to High School Musical all night long. AAAAAHHHHHH  If I hear how Troy is soooo cute I may be sick.  The fades these kids go through.  Well I must go, I have two little girls who need to go to bed so they can get up early and clean their room.  Have a good day to you all and I will keep you all posted. Good morning all !   I sure hope this turns out to be a great day for everyone...first and formost sis, hope you dont have another day like yesterday. I cant imagine finding those problems and having to tear up al the work you had just done. I would have just thrown my hands up and cried !!!!!!!  What a mess,  Did Joe cry? I bet he did when you werent looking !  lol! Why do they have a septic tank clean out if they cant use it? Isnt that what that pipe is for?  UCK!!! Can you imagine doing that job? Sure glad I dont have to. So true about the money pit, all houses are that actually. Once you start on one project it will lead to another. We are going to have to start doing some major projects around here too, just for general maitenance and spit and shine stuff. New flooring and new siding is my next biggies and then of course new paint on the inside...which will give me the opportunity to buy that big flat screen and new furniture. LOL!

Hey where could I put some cone flowers and some blackeyed susans? lol. Do you remember us talking about me moving all my lillies from the front bed to the bed next to the porch of the side of the shop? If I dig them up this fall, they will transfer good then wont they? I finally have an idea for my front bed and all along the front of the house...It is going to be a big project but in the long run will help make things look better out there. I want to have all the porch supports wrapped in siding and re-done so we dont have to paint that anymore and that needs to be done when there are no flowers in that bed...so probably sometime in the fall. But when? We will be gone a week and 1/2 in Sept. and about that in Oct. I hate scheduling all this stuff.  Does anyone know a good siding company that they trust and is good prices? I would like to do steel siding, but probably cant afford it so will settle for vinyl. Rick wants to try to do the soffit and facia himself. We would like the vertical siding but not everyone carries that.  I too am praying for Cassie to be able to go home. Man I sure hate that she has had to get an abcess, and dealing with that stupid drain...then the healing of that hole when it comes out. UCK! I remember that mess. Anyway, maybe she will heal sooner than I did and it wont have to stay in for a month with her. Cassie girl, my GOD bless and heal you soon! My trip to Destin is on the 20th of Sept. so we should be able to come to the reunion unless Rick is on call. Maybe I can come with out him if he is. I havent looked at Sept on-call list yet. Let me know as soon as we can call and get a room. They do have little kitchens in them right? Sheila and Janet.....if you two let guys (who by the way, well...........you know, they are guys) bother you by what they say.....JUST DONT! Rick has told me too that Im getting too skinny and too bony. I just think it is funny. Others at church have said, "Dont you think youve lost enough?" and  "Isnt it time you quit loosing?"  OH BROTHER!!!! Just laugh it off girls. Guys are guys, like I said and they dont think rationally sometimes. And Sheila, the guy you was out with might have really had an emergency...maybe!  Dont write off all guys because of something stupid one did.  And both of you, even if this isnt what you wanted to hear me say, Im saying it anyway!!!!!! "YOU both are Gorgeous women. SO THERE! But you know what, that has nothing to do with weight..or bones...or anything but the people GOD made you. So repeat after me..."I am a beatiful woman."  Janet, what time is the appt? Im sure we will all know as soon as your able to post....cant wait to hear your news. Isnt this one of the most exciting times in your life?  I remember when my first grand one was on her way and the day I got to see her on ultrasound..WOW!  Yes now that is a WOW moment!   Christine, bless your heart! It hurts so bad to loose someone unexpectedly and especially to a senseless car wreck. Jan and I lost a brother that way. It still makes me sick to my stomach when I think of it.  Renee, have we met? I dont know if Ive been at a meeting that you were there? Hope to get to meet you on the 21st.  Well, I gotta go get ready for swimming pool today...got to go exercise 2 days worth into 1. LOL!  I pray everyone has a glorious day filled with good things.  And sis, dont find any more problems.  We need a fun day and you cant seem to get away from the money pit to go do it! lol!  LOVE TO ALL!

Hi Aunt Jan and OH Peeps~

Im only on here for a moment. I will finish my REAL post after I get home from hearing my grand-daughters heartbeat and see her on the ultrasound. Good grief, we may just get to see if its a Mackenzie LeeAnna today.....For sure-and then there is no more arguing about it. I AM pretty confident, thus, have been able to justify the pink outfits and cutest little girl shoes that I have bought already! Im here to tell you-I couldnt sleep last night and it was NOT insomnia. I know it was from my mind just racing!

The excitement from Megans appt today, The anxiety and disappointment about Charlie and Mike the night before, and the embaressment. Then Chandlers mom, Colette CAME TO MY HOUSE last night while the boys and I were working in the garden and told me she was bringing Steph to me tomorrow (today) and just dumping her off in my driveway since I wouldnt help her more than I was....She called me 10 times-EVEN to the office of the motel yesterday~ She called my mom, she called my daughter.....I will get into that when I get back from Megs appt. My dad disappeared yesterday (in the company vehicle FOR 9 HOURS!!! Didnt answer his cell-NOTHING!!!!), my mom had an all day diabetic class and then medical testing at the hospital, and guess what? OF course, the housekeeper was "sick"...Yep-AND there were 12 rooms, and 3 inspections for refunds of deposits to be done-AND the clerk, she is only there till 1 pm-so?????? Yeah-thats another story all together. I will post that when I get home too.

BEV IS HOME~~~~ WOOOOOO HOOOOOO. She left another voice mail for me yesterday. This time, I got to see her calling and knew that if I hit the answer button-I wouldnt be able to hear her and then wouldnt know what was going on-so I let it go to voice mail and then I used Mikes phone last night to call my voice mail-but it was 11 pm, and I was afraid to call her and wake her up. Im going to call her this morning after my daugthers appt....

Well, Peeps......I am getting off here and I will post when I get back.... PLEASE keep our post ops in your prayers....Bev, Jackie, Cassie.....anyone else I may be missing. For speedy and uneventful recoveries-and Cassie, that the worst is finally over and she does get to go home tomorrow. Poor gal! Please also keep Megan in your prayers-for her health and for my unborn granddaughter......(did I spell that right?)

All my love and prayers to you today!~ Love, Janet

Hello!  It's me, posting for the second day in a row!!!  Woo hoo!  lol

Jan, you poor thing, I know you're just so frustrated with the house and Murphy's Law right about now!  Surely it can't go on forever..  or Susan and Andy might be getting a "gift." lol

I had a "normal" day at school today.  I did have a chance to look at my prof's grade book and found out that I do in fact still have my A which I am very happy about.  We've only got two more weeks of school now so hopefully I can hold on to it.

My husband and I are going to play raquetball at 3:30 and I am so looking forward to that.  We used to play all the time in Japan before we had William.  This will be the first time that we've been able to play together in years.  I know we're going to be rusty, but it'll be fun.  I'm hoping we can make it a weekly date.

We're trying to decide if we want to go on another canoe trip July 25-27th on the current river.  We would have to take William with us this time and I just don't know if he can handle sitting in a boat off and on for 6-7 hours.  I think we'll do some talking about it this weekend and make a decision.  I really want to go and so does my husband but taking William has us terrified.  He's at that deffiant stage right now and like most almost 4 year olds, he doesn't sit still for long periods well.  He'll be able to get out and swim, so that'll help... they guys that run the trip suggested getting him a squirt gun so he can shoot people as they go by us and also letting him take a fishing pole to try to fish.  We'll see.  Canoeing is great fun and great exercise.  Are any of you near the Current River in southern Mo??

Well, I guess I'm going to get off of here and do some cleaning before going to the gym.  Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Christine

Good afternoon OH peeps!  I haven't posted in over a week we went to KC last weekend got to visit family so that was good then I have been working and so I'm worn out.  I'm not used to standing for 6 hrs at a time so my legs have been hurting alot the past few days.  They gave me more hours at work don't know if I like that or not?  LOL.... I finally found a multi-vitamin that works for me.  After spending so much money on different vitamins only for them to make me sick and throw up no matter when I take them.  I have tried bariatric advantage, optisource, centrum, centrum childrens, nature valley and a few others they all don't agree with me the only one I can take is Flintstone with Iron chewables.  I take 2 a day and I compared them with the Bariatric Advantage ones and bascially by taking 2 a day I'm getting everything that's in the bariatric ones even iron which the bariatric ones don't have.  Lets hope the flintstone ones are enough for me?   I went shopping while in KC and bought a few items on clearance that actually fit.  I have so many big clothes that don't fit right it was nice to have something that actually fits me right and looks good so I was excited about that.  I have been gradually giving my big clothes to family members and they have been enjoying that.   Man it is so cold in the store that I work for that the customers are complaining and we stand around freezing all day.  I have to go outside to get warm on my breaks.  I even wear a sweater and still cold.  We tried telling management but they don't care and do nothing about it.  Several people are sick and had to be sent home and today my throat was sore probably due to standing in the cold air all day?  It's miserable when your extremely cold and can't really do much about it.   Well, I have to sign off now got to go to the grocery store and stop and get my schedule for next week.  Have a great day, what's left of it anyway!

I walked over to the garden with Dad last evening to pick some broccoli and its a good thing I had a 5 gallon bucket in my hand as I soon filled it with slicing cucumbers. I didn't think they were ready yet. Zuccihini is coming in stong and a few tomatos and green peppers. Made a stir fry last night for supper with everything from the garden except the porksteak and it was a left over. the stir fry was so good and there were no left overs!

Got to remember how I fixed it. Its hard paring down the size of meals but I am learning.

Sis & I are fixing spagetti tonight with a garden salad. Tomatos out of the garden taste so good there is no comparison to store bought ones.

Took my black bean and corn salsa salad to work today and it was gone in 30 minutes - everyone loved it and I had to remember how I tweaked the original rachel ray recipe. So had to make copies for everyone.

Got a 5 gallon bucket of green beans to snap and fix for the freezer. Just don't think they are good enough to can.

Had a rough day at work as we were so busy and praise the LORD my physical therapy appointment was cancelled for after work - talk about relief! Had to run my sis around afer work and was so thankfull she put money in my gas tank. We are still trying to find a used car for her.

Jan - I thought several posts ago that the rental house sounded like the Money pit movie. You need a vacation!

When you have to visit a public bathroom, you usually find a line of women, so you smile politely and take your place. Once it's your turn, you check for feet under the stall doors. Every stall is occupied.

Finally, a door opens and you dash in, nearly knocking down the woman leaving the stall.

You get in to find the door won't latch. It doesn't matter, the wait has been so long you are about to wet your pants! The dispenser for the modern 'seat covers' (invented by someone's Mom, no doubt) is handy, but empty. You would hang your purse on the door hook, if there was one, but there isn't - so you carefully, but quickly drape it around your neck, (Mom would turn over in her grave if you put it on the FLOOR!), yank down your pants, and assume ' The Stance.' In this position your aging, toneless thigh muscles begin to shake. You'd love to sit down, but you certainly hadn't taken time to wipe the seat or lay toilet paper on it, so you hold 'The Stance.' To take your mind off your trembling thighs, you reach for what you discover to be the  empty toilet paper dispenser. In your mind, you can hear your mother's voice saying, 'Honey, if you had  tried to clean the seat, you would have KNOWN there was no toilet paper!' Your thighs shake more. You remember thes tiny tissue that you blew your nose on yesterday - the one that's still in your purse. (Oh yeah, the purse around your neck, that now, you have to hold up trying not to strangle e your self at the same time). That would have to do. You crumple it in the puffiest way possible. It's still smaller than your thumbnail . Someone pushes your door open because the latch doesn't work. The door hits your purse, which is hanging around your neck in front of your chest , and you and your purse topple backward against the tank of the toilet. 'Occupied!' you yell, as you reach for the door, dropping your precious, tiny, crumpled tissue in a puddle on the floor, lose your footing altogether, and slide down directly onto the TOILET SEAT. It is wet of course. You bolt up, knowing all too well that it's too late. Your bare bottom has made contact with every imaginable germ and life form on the uncovered seat because YOU never laid down toilet paper - not that there was any, even if you had taken time to try. You know that your mother would be utterly appalled if she knew, because, you're certain her bare bottom never touched a public toilet seat because, frankly, dear, 'You just don't KNOW what kind of diseases you could get.' By this time, the automatic sensor on the back of the toilet is so confused that it flushes, propelling a stream of water like a fire hose against the inside of the bowl that sprays a fine mist of water that covers your butt and runs down your legs and into your shoes. The flush somehow sucks everything down with such force that you grab onto the empty toilet paper dispenser for fear of being dragged in too. At this point, you give up. You're soaked by the spewing water and the wet toilet seat. You're exhausted. You  try to wipe with a gum wrapper you found in your pocket and then slink out inconspicuously to the sinks. You can't figure out how to operate the faucets with the automatic sensors, so you wipe your hands with a dry paper towel and walk past the line of women still waiting. You are no longer able to smile politely to them. A kind soul at the very end of the line points out a piece of toilet paper trailing from your shoe. (Where was that when you NEEDED it??) You yank the paper from your shoe, and resist the temptation to plunk it in the woman's hand and tell her, 'Here, you just might need this.' As you exit, you spot your hubby, who has long since entered, used, and left the men's restroom. Annoyed, he asks, 'What took you so long, and why is your purse hanging around your neck?' This is dedicated to women everywhere who deal with a public restrooms (rest??? You've GOT to be kidding! !). It finally explains to the men what really does take us so long. It also answers their other commonly asked questions about why women go to the restroom in pairs. It's so the other gal can hold the door, hang onto your purse and hand you Kleenex under the door!  hello every one thought this was cute and would share it...miss younes love and hugs

Good Afternoon Aunt Jan & Peeps~

Oh Happy Day (let me hear you sing it now!) The sun will come out~tomorrow-bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow-there will be sun... So-even if its raining and eeyore-ish day here-I am up in the clouds-right next to my SIL-who keeps looking at the 3 ultrasound pics and his eyes get glossed over and he stops and looks away!!! Then repeats the process. I think he has called everyone he knows AND shown the pics to everyone!!! Its like show and tell-

Ok-so I was 1/2 hr early for the appt. Missed the driveway-went to take the next turn I could (to turn around) and there was a sale right there on the end....why not? The kids werent there yet and I was literally 30 seconds away-LOL...So-I go up and I got the most awesome set of 3 sage green fabric picture frames, large (8x10), medium (5x7) and small (3.5x5?).... AND a big mans recliner/rocker-leather and its AWESOME! I paid $8 for ALL of it. I asked if I could get the chair after the appt and they said sure....

Oh man-the appt was AWESOME...They let both boys come back with me where Megan and Aaron were. The doc came in (and I like him so much I am switching GYN docs). He talked to them and then at the end when you can ask ?, the kids didnt have any. I did. I asked if that Group B strep would be hereditary? He said no. They tested her for that today. Ok-so the ultrasound had to be vaginal-my grand-daughter is too teeny tiny yet-so with a little re-arranging of where we were all sitting/standing-the boys ended up next to Megan, but by her head. Aaron and I directly next to her, sitting in the chairs. He starts-and he shows us where the baby is-and Jon shoots up-(head in my way-darn it)....He says-this is your babys heart-can you see it beating? (OMG....Im choking back the tears. Cant look at Aaron-cuz he is too...) Jon is holding Megans hand and talking to her about the baby and how excited he is-and then he turned the sound on so we could hear the heartbeat!! There was no more sucking it up-I have tears streaming down my face and cant even stop! Megan looks at me, she is crying-and Aaron-his mouth fell open and his eyes were watering....he was in awe-as we all were-but he is like a kid at Christmas~who am I kidding-I was too..Am too...LOL...Jon kept saying-Oh, hes so adorable-and IF it IS a girl-will she still play with me like a boy would and will I still be allowed to be her uncle? Awww. Well-he told Megan to take something before bedtime for her nausea. If it doesnt work, he will call her in a RX.... Heart beat 137 per minute and due date-Feb 12th....my adopted daughter, Amanda-her due date is January 30th....wouldnt that be something if they were there the same time????? Mike and I wouldnt have to fight to hold babies....we could each have one! I cried all the way out to the car. Happy cry, Jon calls it.

You know how a lot of you that attend the COF group were telling me after seeing me last that I should wear more form fitting clothes and I told you I had JUST bought that outfit that week on vaca? Ok, so today, I wear one of the ONLY shirts that IS form fitting, cut low in front, but no cleavage hanging out-just as low as it can go before.....SOOOO ANYWAY...I go pump gas-go inside to pay-I go to the garage sale, speak to the man and woman running it-at length...Yadi, Yadi...well-the WHOLE time, I keep "thinking" my necklace is poking me in my cleavage-are you ready? IT was the underwire from MY BRA! It was ALL THE WAY UP AND poking me-I only had to tug MAYBE an inch to get it all the way out-does that tell you how much was sticking out? Oh man-You KNOW those guys I was talking to ALL morning were thinking I was into some sort of bondage or something since I bet they didnt know what an underwire really looked like or looks like...and, for the woman not to tell me...she was big busted as well..... I KNOW she knows what they look like!!! Made my kids laugh- hysterically actually!~

After we got my chair-I went to the grocery store-they have Mikes tea on sale this week-the Lipton 12 pack bottles-the Green Tea with Citrus? Its $4 each when you buy 2. I went and got that, and a couple of other things on sale-and then heading home and see another sale....HMMMM do I or dont I stop? Shouldnt-but I do-in case they have baby stuff.....WHAT A MISTAKE. Actually, it was good for me, just didnt really necessarily WANT to spend that money THIS WEEK...But, it was a blessing. I got 4 HUGE storage totes. 2 are the biggest you can buy. $3 each. I am putting one out by the pool for the pool toys, goggles, misc stuff-balls etc....so its not always laying around. The noodles will fit in there too-AND I can lock it-which I will do when Mikes parents or Charlie and them have their other grandkids because they let them pop holes in our floaties or tear our stuff up and no one EVER offers to replace it. Last year when we bought that BIG old teeter totter-and they came to get it off our porch-Mike told them no-because it was expensive and IF anyone was gonna pop it-it would BE US! Ok-so then.... I find a big flag, with the pole and everything to attach it and its one that you pull the ropes on the side- (yep, BIG ONE) for $2!! Ok-then....a awesome bar stool-JUST LIKE ONE I HAVE!! Only a little wider seat. Same style AND Color-it was $5. A gallon of round up weed killer, with tag still on it-and not used-for $1. (that stuff is expensive) 2 more brand new pic frames (I have been meaning to replace mine as Steph was throwing something one day-hit the wall and ALL but 2 pics fell and the glass in the frames broke-so I just put them in the closet) they were .50 each. I go to the garage and there is one of the biggest tackle boxes you can get-FULL OF SLOT CAR ACC...for $3. Alright, Im done-and I am done...ready to leave and then I saw an area rug-GREAT BIG-the ones that cost $100 at WM-it had $15 on it (looks brand new and matches the colors in my house)-and then there was a kids really nice sturdy desk-for $5....she took $12 for the rug-and I didnt have the room for the desk-so I got my money back...as we were leaving-her hubby comes running up with this matt stuff-hunter green color-and they used it to put UNDER the area rug so it wouldnt slide. Well-the area rug is going ON the carpet in the rec room-so I get to use that other stuff on my concrete porch. Have been looking for adhesive or something to put out there since it gets slicker than snot when its wet. So-going on the porch right after you get out of the pool-is just asking to break a hip!!! Its big enough to do the whole walk way on my porch....YAY--now I dont have to worry about anyone getting hurt!!! Anyway-got really good buys today-on stuff I wanted/needed anyway....YAY for me. A great day for us here at the Corbett household.

Last night, I got home and started dinner. I had some boneless/skinless chicken breast and I put some garlic/herb marinade on it-wrapped it in tin foil and baked it for 40 minutes....put it on our fresh lettuce from our garden, along with some bacon, and cheese for me-and then croutons, olives, tomatoes and all that good stuff for Mike-Oh man, was that good!! When I was out getting the lettuce-I decided since it had rained and the ground was soft, I was going to go ahead and thin out the cucumber plants-they are too close and were starting to vine around one another...Dont want that-they will kill themselves off. Well-the boys and I are out there doing that and this strange car pulls up...Never seen it before and has tinted windows...HMMMM. We were in our suits-cuz we had just gotten out of the pool....the car door opens and I hear-Janet? I said, yeah-????? She says- Colette....CRAP...Chans mom.. She had called me 5x. Called the office at the motel, called my mom twice and even called Megan and Mikes numbers. They were peeved-and so was I. I told her that my phone was broke and I had text her a couple of times when I had time-which was in short supply yesterday due to the situation at the motel. I had barely gotten home before 7 pm. We did a little mowing. Me on the rider, Mike with the push mower-the boys ate while we were mowing-and then Mike and I changed and the 4 of us got in the pool-the boys dont like chicken salad-so they had pizza rolls. Anyway-Im out there digging up the cucumbers and she walks over-and is chewing my rear because SHE IS STRESSED OUT AND CANT LIVE WITH STEPHANIE ANYMORE... She says that IF I dont find Stephanie some place else to live, that SHE is going to drive Stephanie up my driveway tomorrow and dump her off. Ok.....Im seeing RED NOW...I AM BEYOND P.O.'d and the good Lord knows that I have had MORE than my share of crap lately. I looked up and said "EXXXCUSEEEE ME?" The boys are both like-Oh man....this is going to get interesting-and now they are BOTH standing at the end of the row where I am digging-not over where they are transplanting them... She repeats herself to me about HOW stressed out SHE is and how ITS NOT FAIR that I am NOT helping her find another home for Stephanie...Lady-I dont think you understand whats going to happen if you dont shut the hell up and get the hell off my property! I turned around and said WELL, LIKE I HAVE SAID BEFORE-BUT Let me repeat this, because obviously, you have selective hearing. YOU REMOVED MY CHILD FROM MY HOME...YOU DID NOT CONTACT ME BEFOREHAND TO ADVISE ME OR ASK. YOU DIDNT HAVE ANY COMPASSION FOR WHAT OUR HOUSEHOLD WENT THROUGH. YOU THINK BECAUSE YOUR A PSYCHIATRIC NURSE THAT YOU KNOW EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT KIDS-WELL, ITS KIND OF FUNNY TO ME NOW-BUT YOU KNOW YOU DONT!!!! YOU DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH RESPECT FOR ME TO TALK TO ME-BUT YOU FREAKING EXPECT me TO FIND HER A PLACE TO LIVE? I know my *ss is still BIG ENOUGH to find a place for you to place your lips!~ QUIT freaking bothering me about it....she shrugged her shoulders and said she was bringing her over tomorrow (today) and dumping her off. I said-well, you just go ahead. She wont stay here, and I will gladly give her a ride right back to your house-where YOU have told her that she is always welcome...(she doesnt want to KICK steph out and cause ill feelings....) For that matter-I think its sad your stressed out, but I believe in Karma- and I believe your getting yours now with Steph. You do whatever you have to do-but I wouldnt make the mistake of bringing her here. You took her out of her home-she is YOUR Responsibility right now-where she resides, where all her clothes, medications-everything is-at YOUR house. You wanted to stick your nose in-then YOU can deal with it-NOT ME...You have some pretty big balls to come out here and threaten me if I dont help you-when you didnt give a crap about ME or my family until you saw the situation for what it really is and the problems that steph has. You admitted you should have not done that-but you NEVER did actually apologize for turning MY world upside down or having respect for another mom. Now-I am going into my house. I am going to make calls to see if I can find her a place, because, more than anything-I KNOW your a worse influence on her than anyone else could be-and then I will TEXT you and let you know where YOU are going to take her tomorrow. Do NOT ever contact me again-for ANY reason. Im trying to be a good person-but I can feel the ice cracking right beneath my feet. Do me one more favor-Keep your nose out of the next kids business-cause you have done this to other families too-and one of these days, your luck is gonna run out-you know? I threw down my gardening tools and came in the house and got on the phone. She is now with Erics family.

Well, I am gonna get this post up and get my livingroom re-arranged so that the recliner will fit....thank goodness for Darrel...my little muscles.. he can help his dad. Then I am gonna get the rv/camper cleaned up and get stuff ready for the weekend if its not gonna rain every day!~ This weather has been too weird this summer so far. Your in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Janet
