WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

WOW so much going on in our lives! busy busy! today is a sad day for me.... I found out last week that our son and girlfriend(DIL) parents to our 2 grandbabies have used every avenue of housing around here and are being evicted again! so they are taking my breath and smiles to Fort Riley Ks to live where he has a "good buddy" who will "set him up" and supposedly he has a job waiting for him with the company he was fired from a few month ago..... if it werent for those babies Im like "WHATEVER" but uggggg my heart is breaking about miss Pixie....she is gonna MISS her nannie and papaw and aunt catie....Im going to go see if the cingular phone for small kids will work for her...she is pretty smart. and Mister Jax is just now getting to a good nannie stage.....reading and bonding.....and im gonna MISS IT!!! I missed miss Pixie's first 5 months......needless to say I am at the depths where Janet is at the tops! CONGRATS girl! aint nothing sweeter than a grandbaby to love on!  and since bad news cant travel alone it is now definate that there will be NO unemployment for Dean...so tomorrow he is going to check out some schooling options.... it would be nice for him to work alot less harder for his money. if we are careful we can make it another month or so...and by than he will be more than ready to work somewhere doing something. he is not a sit around type of guy...since he has been off work the stuff he has done around here has been phenominal!  I hardly recognise my yard.  work is work but I am enjoying myself there....everyday now someone has to make a comment about my shrinking....they have all noticed now...some know I have had WLS but mostly from the lunchroom gossip sessions...LOL its not a secret but if Im not asked I dont tell....not everyone in the whole world wants to know I used to weigh over 500lbs.  but I do share my photos and story whenever I am asked. oh and now they all watch me eat....they guy who hired me came in on break where I was eating my chocolate deluxe protien bar...and he like not pose to have a candy bar... I just LOL at all of them... I couldnt be happier with my results and I cant wait to see where it all goes! nutti

Hi  Everyone!!! Not much going on today.  Had to go grocery shopping.  I got the rest of my protein shakes that i will need for the pre-op diet.  Also got some sugar free popsicles, SF jello, sf pudding and broth.  I think I should be set up for pre-op.  I hope.  Tomarrow I am going to set down and order some samples of protein. Jan, I am so sorry you are having trouble with the rental house.  Just when you thaught you were about done.  At least the septic guys are getting to it right away.  Janet,  I am so proud of you for telling Chan's mom off.  What a *****!  I can't believe she had the guts to come to your house and talk to you like that. OMG!  I could feel your excitement in your text today!  I remember when I had my first ultrasound.  Skyler's dad cryed & I couldn't believe he could have feelings like that. As far as what Mike and the other guy said.  Don't listen to them.  You know how guys are . . .  EEERRRRR  not so smart sometimes.  If your BMI is still above.  Then you know it's ok.   I know you don't want to hear it now, but  YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!  I think that after surgery the body changes so quickly it takes a while for everyone's brains to catch up.  They have seen you heavy for years and now within a short time you have lost 260 lbs, and still changing.  It's such a change from what they are used to, I am sure you do look thin compared to when you were still heavy.  But they don't realize that you are at a normal weight now, they just see it as an extreme change from before.  Does that make since?  You know you feel better than you have been in years, so don't let anyone tell you any different. Lori, I'm glad your scope went well.  Sounds like you and Christine had a great visit.   OMG girl!  I couldn't believe it when I called insurance yesterday & they said that I was approved.  I asked her twice just to make sure I was hearing her right.  lol  Then hung up the phone & screamed at the top of my lungs "YYYYEEEESSSSSS"  I woke Lynn up (he had to go into work last night).  He came in & said "what the he!! is going on!?"  I was so excited.  He was crabby!!   lol  oh well!  lol    Sheila, Some guys are just buttholes.  Don't let him scare you away from going out & having fun or from dating again.   Be glad that he showed his true colors now instead of 6 months or a year down the road.  This way you havent wasted any more time on that piece of crap. Christine!!!  I am so glad to see you back on here.  I am also so very sorry to hear of your losses.  I know it's hard when you lose someone you love.
