WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY
Joe made a lid for the septic tank and then covered it up. He wrapped it with new metal flashing so it can be found with a metal detector. Pretty smart thinking lol
We are waiting for a electrician to come tomorrow morning to give us a price for doing some of this work. Lord it is a mess from what I can tell. I don't have any idea why we didn't do all of this before hand,,,,,trying to cut corners and in a hurry lol

I have some sort of redness all over my face , doesn't look exactly like poison ivy but face is so red and swollen that all my wrinkles are gone lol . I don't know what it is. I sprayed weed killer the other day but it wasn't even a breeze while I did it. Who knows. It doesn't itch too much just puffy and red .
Seems like every summer I have something ...I mean to every year to buy some of the stuff that you can wash with to keep from getting it but always forget it. Or there is stuff that you can use after you have been outside and I forget that too till I already have it.
VANESSA:::: so you now have the lap band in place and are recouping. Hope your mother did alright while you were in the hospital this morning. Hope you are feeling ok and you know what all you have to do now so get with the program. How long do you have to wait till you get your first fill?
SHEILA:::: oh wow a toothache? Hey I have heard that if you put an ice cube in both hands and clench them tight that it helps the toothache. Might try it lol
Lol well I think I played in the garden but must have forgotten what I shouldn't get close to cause im all broke out. crazy. I know there is no poison ivy in my flowers. But I did put some bug spray on some things the other day for those aggravating Japanese beetles
That may be what this is.

Yep I have cone flowers and black eyed susans in the same bed they do look good together. I am wanting to get some of the new cone flowers , they have them in all colors.
The daiseys would be a pretty accent too. And since they all like sun and they all don't care if you ever water them or not they would be good to plant together.
I need some daiseys to put in with mine.

Janet don't let what others think color what you think of you. You are fantastic and you look wonderful. And I don't think you look too skinny at all. I think you look young and healthy . just ignore all of them Maybe you are getting to the stopping point but that is up to you where you want to be. It is a fact that some people trade their fat and eating all the time for being thin and almost anorexic but you don't look anorexic to me ....
Like I said above women are suppose to have those bones show.

I am going to lay out some black plastic where I want our garden to be this fall and next year and get the grass killed, then when I take up the plastic, I will spray round up on it too . and be sure and get all the roots good. Hopefully . we can get it plowed and a fall garden put in ...
It is a shame about your sister and that they wont hire her but we all know how that goes. If I hadn't been a nurse , and we know they don't care how fat you are for that, it would have been hard to find a job, I tried a couple of times to get a job at something else and I was qualified for them too. They never even called me for a second interview.

Dear Auntie Jan and OH Peeps~ Hey there-2 nights in a row? Could it be? Could it be??? LOL...Jan-I got your email-came in and replied to Angys post about her surgery-and went to get to my email-and you had your post posted....So-I guess it was OH, because now there are several more options for the size of the font???? Although, when we got home, I had a really hard time getting on line tonite. It took me about 15 minutes and about 6 tries. It would connect, and then say that there was no connection???? Anyhow...Hopefully its all fixed up now, right? Today was BUSY...BUSY...BUSY...YUCK-Hate it when its like that. I got a lot done, dont get me wrong-but not enough here at the house. My post probably wasnt even posted yet-it takes forever after I hit to submit it-and my dad called and asked if I could come in and watch the office for a bit, because he had to go help Kenny and then one of the other staffs trucks broke down. Told him that I would BUT....Mike needed the car after work and so-I wouldnt be able to unless I had a ride. Megan sent Aaron out to pick me up. Then....I left Jons carseat in their car-so when Mike came to pick me up after work-we had to wait for Jons carseat...Didnt get home until almost midnite. My house is in dissaray-since I figured I would be back before I was-but what is done, looks kick butt!!! My mom and Megan went to the store today-and my mom got the baby a bib that says-I love Grandma....AND the onesie that says-What happens at Grandmas, stays at Grandmas-LOL LOL...Megan said that the medicine that her OB doc told her to take-it worked!!! She didnt have ANY nausea when she woke up and she did really well for almost 24 hours-right about the time she was suppose to take it again...she looked really motherly and glowing today...just had this shine to her and a "pep" in her step. This ADORABLE little girl-who just turned a year old, came into the office with her daddy-and she had the cutest outfit and sandals with a cute pink flower (pretty big flower for such a little foot-but adorable all the same) and I couldnt quit staring at her and thinking soon I was gonna be taking my little granddaughter for a walk-I told him that we were expecting our first granddaughter!!! Megans like-Geez, mom-do you HAVE to tell anyone who will listen? HECK YAH! I am seriously thinking of getting myself a t-shirt....nana in training or waiting....???? I will come up with something to advertise-cant wait until she has the belly bump! I talked to her belly all the time the way it is now...Today-I was sitting in a chair at the desk and she walked over and I went to lean over to talk to her belly and accidentally bumped her boob-I wont do that again!!! I thought she was gonna rip my head off-LOL...Oh man, do I remember that! Jon informed Megan today, that HE is 5 and HE IS old enough to babysit the baby when it gets here-so that she can take a break....How funny! She told him it would be awhile-and he said, no-I think you need to go out with Aaron to a movie and dinner and "I" will watch the baby. She said Buddy, the baby isnt here yet-it will be awhile...He went behind the chair and hid-and started to cry (we were trying not to laugh out loud...)Its like he thinks its going to come out playing baseball and going fishing with us and stuff like that!!! I have asked Megan to come to the COF group with me. She checked her calender and there is nothing there AND she has enough time to get it requested off-so that it wont count against her, since the schedule isnt made up yet...YAY YAY YAY!! She is excited about seeing Jan and Lana again and meeting everyone else. I told her that I would even buy her dinner at the Village Inn. Pretty cool that we have Angy and Lori going for surgery the same day-not far from now at all-AND they both have angels. YAY!!! How exciting! Im glad to hear Vanessa is okay and home. Thats always nice. I didnt get a chance to call Ms. Beverly...Im going to call her tomorrow-its my #1 goal on my list tomorrow. I want to do it before my house gets nuts! Mikes sis-they will be going out of town too-so they wont necessarily be HERE the whole time. A good part of it-but they are going to St. Louis to see some of her hubbys relatives and Branson too. They did ask us if we wanted to go with them-but just cant work out the scheduling part of it. I think they are going to gamble on the boat in St. Louis and have asked about the new casino here too. I think that was a hint to watch the kids, but I didnt offer. If they act anything like her oldest one did the last time we saw them (havent met the 3 youngest. She has twins that are 1 1/2 mos older than Jon-both boys and then has a daughter that is 7. Her oldest daughter lives with her grandma and she is 14. She didnt want to come. Anyway-didnt offer. I may come to group looking like how I described poor Joe the other day doing the septic tank-I may have a flask with me-LOL...Just ignore me if I do...LOL LOL... Anyway-I guess I should get this done. I have a lot to do before noon. Mike is asleep in his new (used but, new to us) Lazy boy chair I got him yesterday-that thing is SO COMFY!!! I told him to take a break from rearranging the living room and we will finish in the morning-so we are getting up at 5...which means 3 hrs of sleep for me. So I will get this wrapped up and go lay down and TRY to get some ZZZZZ's. ~~Does anybody know off hand-when the cucumbers are little bitty-IF I pick them then-will they be considered like a baby dill pickle? **Jan-Im so glad that the septic is over with-I will pray that the electrician doesnt break the bank. If you lived closer, my ex BIL-the one I adore and whom Stephanie is living with now-he is a licensed electrician and he works on the side a lot-If you lived closer-I know he would do it for me, at a real good discount! My field does look like the KS fields you drive through! Beautiful. I spent 5 yrs of my childhood in Independence and Elk City KS....Just beautiful, those sunflowers are. I have it on my to-do list tomorrow to take some pics. I hope it doesnt rain! I have a big list. I hope Joe gets some fish tomorrow. We wont be going camping this weekend because of our company-but we are taking the boys camping/fishing-in the RV with the boat in a couple weeks. Mike is taking a day off-so we will leave on a Thurs and stay till Sunday and we are going to fish every day and just relax. We gave the boys their option for a little get away before summer was over-and they got to choose from going to Celebration City or White Water, both in Branson-6 Flags in St. Louis or camping for 4 days and yep, they picked the camping/fishing. Anyway-we are taking the whole clan fishing on Sunday. I am packing our lunch and if its not raining we will take out the boat-IF it is, then we will go to the covered dock. The nephews and neice dont fish out in CA....this will be new for them...we are hoping to get enough to have a decent fish fry while they are here. I already have the corn on the cob all sealed and ready for it...just need a little more fish. When is your daughter moving? Is it August 1st? I couldnt remember what you said. Will you be getting together before they all go? Do you think if Renee and I come to Springfield early that you and Joe would be interested in getting together before group for coffee and conversation or will after group be more than enough time with us? Can you handle us BEFORE AND AFTER? Have you thought of a topic this month or a ? for us to think about? Not that you havent had 100 other things going on-I just kept forgetting to ask you is all. **Renee-How far are Tiffs grandparents from where you are now? I hate to hear she is moving, but know how you feel, thats for sure. Im sorry. I know that even though you have a really close relationship-that it still hard to see her leave-but at least you are close. I never know when I will see Steph OR how she is doing. What a blessing she is to those grandparents though. We should all be so lucky as to have someone like Tiff-Please tell her that even though I havent met her face to face-that I think she is a wonderful person and a true blessing. You should be proud, mom! You did a great job and it shows!!!! Call or text me if you need to talk...and I WILL see ya soon. We will get together and figure out a time-and see if any of the other gals can meet with us a little early to catch up and hang out before the group as well. Im so proud of you for the changes that you have already put in place. I did all of that too....It wasnt so bad switching to Splenda. I cut out ALL soda and did have a few diet sodas when I needed a fix-and I did stay with a cup of regular coffee in the morning-I knew if I cut out coffee on top of the pop AND sugar I drank ALL day etc-that I would be a blubbering idiot! I like my coffee really strong! Anyway-WAY TO GO! Im bustin a move for ya! Im so excited about meeting you face to face! Feel like I am waiting to re-connect with a best bud that you lose contact with after college, you know? I sure dont feel like strangers! Its like I have known you forever-and I cant help but to think that no matter how much the weight affected my life and my soul-that the ONE good thing that ever came of being fat AND having the WLS journey, was meeting so many people I just love and adore!!! Its like a big ol`family. Do you think you will be going to the reunion in Branson? Maybe we can car pool-depending on how long you wanna stay and all of that. We dont have our date set in stone yet-but after Labor Day-we will talk/text about it and figure it out. You can bring anyone you want-would be great to meet those beautiful girls of yours!!! Eventually I THINK someone will get something a little faster out here. We dont even get the service from Dish network or Direct TV....Internet wise-we get the tv satellite, but thats it. No, Dad does most of the work in the garden until its time to start reaping the rewards than its up to me and the wheel barrel. At age 79 he does a great job!
The lady who has lived across the street died and her funeral is today. At age 90 I never heard her say 1 bad thing about anyone ever! I have known her since we moved into this house 50 years ago. I had to call my children and tell them which was hard to do. Talk about a supportive family - one of her children or grandchildren came by the house every day to feed the cats for the past 2 years since she had been in the nursing home. Its comforting to know that my Mom has her best friend and neighbor with her now. I can just hear them talking about what we are doing wrong with the flowers & garden and what we should be doing. Getting a little misty eyed talking about it.
I have got to go by the vets office for the flea med for my dogs, I should have done it last week. Still no little critters I can see and I keep the yard treated. You can't say I am an organic gardner with my use of Sevin dust etc...

Good Morning Y’all,
Just got in from a good walk, got Jan to go too, its so much better to walk with someone and sure starts the day off good. Got quite a bit done with the unpacking yesterday, still have a lot to do but we’re getting there, we’ll get a lot more done today. I got my office almost put together, computers set up and desks and all, now to unload all the books and stuff and put them up on the book shelf. Its gonna be a hot one again today so we’ll get a lot done inside and wait til this evening to do some things outside.
Jan lol yeah it seems kinda silly writing ya on here since I just talked to ya a lil bit ago on the walk LoL, I wouldn’t change it at all tho, we just love living out here. We’re still getting used to the fact that we are your neighbors now lol.
Janet thanks for the welcome back, yeah Joe and Jan both have worked their tails off on this house, I hope someday you can stop by and see all the work they have done, when we first came up here for the couple nights and saw the house then came back with our stuff, that two weeks there was a dramatic difference in the house, they have done such an awesome job, when its all done its gonna be the prettiest lil house in the area, well besides Jans house, her house is soooo nice. We can’t wait to meet ya too, sure hope ya make it to the COF this month, I am so looking forward to that. We get to see the FIL a couple times a week so far, whenever we go into town we always stop by and check on him, he really does love it there, they treat him so good and you can really tell a difference in his attitude, its gotten so much better since he’s moved there. He’s with a roommate now and so far gets along nicely with him which is great. Yeah I know what ya mean about satellite internet, Im gonna have to save and hopefully be able to get it one day soon. Right now the dial up isn’t all that bad, it actually moves a bit better then I thought it would or maybe its just cuz Im so glad to be back on the net LoL

I bathe with tar coal shampoo, take benedryl every four hours and use every concievable ointment and lotion available. I think I might actually be seeing a light at the end of this tunnel though. I sure hope so!

Not much going on around here just yet, but it is the weekend and that's always subject to change. Tiff is already off with Chris (her bf), Kala is fixing to go hang out with friend's, and I'm enjoying being here and just relaxing.
I forgot to tell you I had another surprise at the doctor's office yesterday... I got to meet a girl from here. I don't think she post all that much, but I meet her first here. Here name is Shawna. It was a real treat getting to meet her face to face and not having it planned. LOL I sure wish all my doc visit were like that.
Jan I'm keeping my finger's crossed for ya'll on the electric. I sure hope all goes well.
Yes, it's Kala that is moving out. I know the little birdies have to fly sometime, but dang it........ I'm sure everything will be fine.
Please keep me in your prayers that I'm able to do this by Aug. 1st. I really don't see any reason why I wont be able to, except for well power LOL and trust me I want this bad. I just keep telling myself it will be done it will be done.
Janet hun we have the worst luck with our computer's, I sure hope yours is straightened out. I finally got an email from my computer guy and I will be calling him this afternoon.
I'm so glad the med's worked for Megan. I always had a problem taking the vitimin's. If I remember right I think I was only sick about one week with both girl's, (I was lucky) except for when taking the vitimin's.
Hehehe Why stop at just a t-shirt I think your whole family need's one, and we all need one, and let's not forget about bummer sticker's, and sign's for the yard. LOL LMAO Megan would just love love love that. LOL
Your boy's sound like my girl's. They both have season passes to silver dollar city, but both would gladly go camping with me instead.
Kala is the one moving out, Tiff isn't going anywhere until after high school. Yep, we've already talked about her moving out and in with Chris, and they agree it doesn't make much sense until after school. Whewww! They listened. LOL
Your right she is doing a good thing, and she wont be that far away (about 15 minutes depending on what kind of shape the dirt road is in), but it's still going to hurt. Yea, I know just 15 minute's, but it's still not the same as right here. It's all going to work out, I know it will.
Thanks for the complement's, it's so nice to hear. I worry that I haven't done all that good, or I didn't do this right, but then my girl's pull something off and I have to smile. It is great to hear from an awesome mom like you.

I know what you mean about meeting for the first time, my long lost friend. I'm so happy and excited. I can hardly wait to meet the rest of my new family, it's going to be awesome.

Thanks about the soberversary. It's been 8 short years. It was truely one of the easiest thing's I ever quit. Oh sure there were time's I wanted to back slide, but all I had to do was think about my girl's and those old feeling went away, now the urge's aren't even there. Praise and Glory to the Lord. I believe we are going to go camping for my birthday and soberversary. Just make it one big thing.
Sheila I wont be able to make it tonight, but it sure sound's like a good time. Do you guy's ever make it to the big one they have in Aurora. I believe it's an all day and night thing, around labor day.
It would be cool to meet up with you. I'm really just learning about the reunion, but I'm going to give it a shot.

If I had my bed dug up I would give you some daisys...I would like to transfer them when I mess with them... I hope you can get your hostas soon. I think the other plants are too far gone. I really hate that. They looked fine one day and the next they were just burned up looking.
Rick and a gang went frog gigging last night. They got a few but not alot. Levi went with them and it was his first experince at that.
