Well I am a little over 3 weeks out and I am not getting in near enough water in. I keep water with me all the time but they said to drink 1 oz every 15 minutes and I just can't get in enough water like that. When can I have a little more..
also I can't find in my booklet anything about applesauce. When can we have that?

Beverly that just means when you first start out to drink that amount , go for it and get in what you think you can but be sure you get at least the amount it says.
I would think you are far enough out to be eating applesause if you want it. just make sure it has no added sugar.

Hey Bev, the booklet says semi-solid foods at 3 wks post op. Things like cream of wheat, mashed potato, but you're right it doesn't say anything about adding fruit until 6 wk post op.  Then it says you can add fruits & vegies, So I don't know.  I would email Abby (the nutritionist) , She has always gotten back really fast to me.  I called Natalie last week & still havent heard back from her.  Here's Abby's email  [email protected]

Thank you Angy. I just emailed her so maybe I will get some answers. That booklet doesn't have a lot of everyday info...
