Prayers Please!!!

Ok you guys.  I feel like crap.  My friend had surgery on Friday (Rny) and I told her that I would call and check on her, but she told me not to and that if anything happened she would have her mom call me.( I am friends with her mom too)  Well,  having not heard anything I started calling this afternoon thinking that she should be at home by now, and I couldn't get an answer, so I called her moms house and spoke to her grandson.  He told me that Kris was having surgery as we spoke, and I kinda freaked out.  He gave me their cell numbers, and I just called them and they said that they would have to call me back because they were in intensive care and wasn't supposed to be on the phones.  So.... I am really scared for her and her family.  Please everyone please  say some prayers for her. I thank you all in advance,  Layla

Thank you both for your prayers... I just spoke to her mom and it doesn't look good.  They went in to do her leak test and found one so they took her in to fix it and found out that it wasn't a leak.  She had a tear in her bowel that was nowhere near her surgery site.They said that there is alot of infection and they had to clean it allout, and that they will have to go back in Tuesday and do it again. The doctors don't know why or how this happened.  The doctors told her mom that she will probably never know what happened to her.  I feel so helpless.  She is a single mom and has a daughter in the 3rd grade.  Her daughter is having a hard time because she doesn't understand why she can't see her mommy.  Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers!!! I feel horrible for Kris!  She was so excited to have the surgery.  I saw her a couple days before her surgery and she was scared.  I called the hospital and asked for her room and she said they didn't have a patient by that name so I will call her mom.  If anyone hears anything please post and I will do the same.  Have a good day and don't forget to keep Kris in your prayers as well as her daughter.  Thanks, Penni
