got approved today
I was shocked that the insurance company called me to let me know that I am approved,(JUST NOW) They let me know before the doctor. I guess I will be getting the call from Dr H Monday to get me scheduled. I am excited and scared at the same time. It took so long to get everything done to get the approval. I guess its a good thing it takes time so you won't do this on a whim. I know this will change my life for the better. Two years ago I had both knees replaced at the same time so I know I can deal with the surgery, I guess I am trying to not get too excited but I have to admit I am. I hope I get a a quick date. Has anyone had to travel soon after surgery? I have a trip for Thanksgiving and would love to be post op then. How long after is it safe to travel?

Congrad's on your approval. Wow that was quick, who's is you insurance carrier. I hope you do get you quick date too, it sure would be nice to have surgery done by christmas time. Congrad's again...
Susie congrats. hope you get a date soon. about traveling afterwards you would need to ask Dr. H for that info. and is it by car, train ,plane or by what means you were taking to get there. the biggest thing would be blood clots i would imagine.

I really can't tell you anything about the traveling, but you would think it would be OK since alot of us have to travel 3 and 4 hours home after surgery. Best thing to do is just ask your doc.
