WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

Hello everyone. Wow you have all been going all day long haven’t you. I have been over with my daughter all day again today. I think we pretty well have her sit up now. But are still looking to buy a stun gun or a tazer. Would prefer a tazer for the simple reason that she could be up to 15 feet away from him and do the harm. The stun gun is a lot cheaper but you have to touch it to the person for it to work.

The cheapest one I can find online is over 200.00 anyone know of anything cheaper?

Boy I sound mean don’t i? I just want her to be safe and I know from experience that idiots like him come back …She has two different police officers that have given her a way to get hold of them so that if either one of them is on duty they will respond to her fast. Just that they may take 5 or 10 mins to get there and he can do a lot of damage by then. I have tried to talk her into comeing down to our house for awhile but she says no. she cant hide forever and she needs to find a job now …

Other than what we have been doing for the daughter I have no other news.

Just got thru finding the divorce forms for Arkansas on a web site for 9.99 that is as cheap as I can find them …looks like they really should be free don’t they? She can file for an uncontested divorce and pays the clerk 140.00 and is pretty much over with except the waiting I guess.

Hopefully he has given up on coming over there but I just wish she was protected some way. I don’t want to give her a gun she might really use it and then that would be a mess.

Lol literally.

 

 

TAMMY-AMMY::::: so good to see you …we miss you a lot and I hope you get to come up to see us soon…not till spring??? Oh wow.

I know you are excited about your own home. It really is different cause you can do what you want to it since it is yours.

But then it is more expensive too, because you HAVE to do everything yourselves because you own it. Something breaks you have to fix it not a landlord. Lol

But I know you will have fun doing the pretty stuff. Are the floors and windows good and sturdy. Believe me first off check the  sewer lines and make sure they are in good shape before you do much of anything else. Lol ask Joe ..

How are the babies? You didn’t say anything about them.

So are you thru losing weight? Since you are having your tummy tuck I guess you are? You will lose quite a bit more weight with that , not as much as you might think tho.

But you will lose a lot in sizes. I know.

Now you know that your not going to be able to get a lot of even water in right after surgery don’t you? Don’t get discouraged, don’t get upset with your self.

Just think if you are able to throw away your meds how much better you will be. OH BOY!!!!

Yes since you have the weeds out of the lilly bed go buy some preen and spread it really thick all around and inbetween the lilies, and out all over the bed…it lasts about 3 months .in the spring wait till they have all greened out cause they will and then do it again and it will keep the weeds down to a bare minimum  and if any weeds do grow they will be right on top of the ground.

They should all be very pretty next year.

 

Sounds like you are ready and if not then you will be ready anyway lol

COR:::::: we don’t think of anyone on here as a whiner. We know it just about consumes you when you are waiting and waiting for a phone call a letter , anything to say yes you have been approved.

It would test the patience of a strong patient person. Lol

Why if the insurance covers it did they tell you no. oh I know what they said but doesn’t it spell it out in the policy about how they will approve it? If it doesn’t I would be jumping them quickly.

Don’t worry there is always room on the losers bench for as many as can find their way to it….the reason being that the ones that are over there now are losing and it keeps having more and more space. Lol

Im sorry sweetie seems like the things you are suppose to eat with the RNY is the exacty opposites…looks like you will have to use the protein drinks a lot. Maybe that will be your saving grace. You are still taking your vits aren’t you?

Eat what you can  so you don’t hurt please maybe it isnt the crohns acting up …it may very well be the gall bladder. It cause so many people lots of pain. I had mine out years ago so that always eliminates one reason behind any pain I might have.

I just know you are going to be allright. Just hang in there we will be right here beside you. And what Peggy said about isolation is so very true. The Devil loves it when he can get you to hide out and not have friends. So kick him in the butt and come on and visit with us a lot. Ok?

My husband Joe will be there and maybe some of the others husbands and wives will be there.

The legalzoon site has good papers but they want a lot to do a uncontested divorce. That will only cost her 140.00 thanks for the info .

She knows to be careful.. She watched me get beat to death many of a time. And saw the trouble I had getting rid of my second husband. It wasn’t easy or pretty most of the time.

So I have warned her over and over.

JANET:::::im really sorry about your butt.lol I know it has to hurt. When I fell in the kitchen in here I thought it was going to cut right thru my hips. But at least I didn’t have a broken tail bone…but it hurt really bad so I can imagine how yours feel.

I guess only time will heal it and you need to stay off of it as much as possible and the only way to do that is in a reclining position or up walking.

Take it easy.

Don’t know what new med it is but look it up, it may say do not take on empty stomach.

I always try to have something like a couple of crackers or such in my purse or a protein bar. That would have been good yesterday.

Yes we know that she should be aware of what he might do. She says she knows him and as long as he is happy with being drunk and high where he is he will leave her along, it is only if he starts sobering up that she is afraid of what he will do.

He has court on the 20^th in Stone Co. Arkansas too, she said if he doesn’t show up and they issue a warrant for his arrest she is going to call them and tell them where he is.

Then he has court on the 9^th of Oct in Taney county Mo. She looks for him to run to where his Mom lives in La. She will hide him out but I know she won’t let him live with her and do all the stuff he is doing now. She lives close to New Orleans so im sure he could find everything he wants down there.

Hope he goes there and stays. Forever.

 

PEGGY: I collect chickens too. Sure wish I could see what you have….she might have something I don’t have. Of course I really need to have more of them right? Let us know if you are going to have a sale. Sounds really interesting. …would drive up there for that.

 

 

TAMMY::::::: hey there you are…..i was going to say sure sounds like dehydration when in the next line you said so. And did you know that can make your heart do just what you said yours was doing? It can kill you. I hope this makes everyone understand how important it is to get the water in….we dehydrate very easily. And it so so important that you get as much as you can and then force some more.

I hope you have learned …I will be praying for you to learn how to get more in. I have worked up to about 120 oz a day and some days that doesn’t seem like enough.

Take care of yourself sweetie, you are the only one there is. Taking care of all of your sweet babies is good , great even but don’t ignore the things you have to do to yourself.

I would insist that hubby go to the reunion and take the camera along and take lots of pictures that you can enjoy ….do what your doctor says tho and don’t go far from home right now till they find out what is going on.

Oh boy Senior pictures those are such big deals now days…when I was in school it was just ordinary school pictures. Although they did allow us to take two poses with different outfits on for them but still just head shots. Now I have seen some senior pictures with their pets in with them, some outside. All sorts of things.

Sugars daughter does senior pictures and she is really good at it….

 

Wow the court of honor sounds like it is a very big deal in the Boy Scouts. I never knew too much about it but sounds like it is way up the ladder.

 

Sounds like Sugar might have a plan for next month sometime…that would be fun wouldn’t it?

 

 

ANDREW::::  hey you didn’t tell them what happened on our walk…. Well I wont either.

If you were able to eat steak and cant now you might have a stricture. If it continues you might need to go see Dr. H. and get it stretched. But it just might have been a one time thing unless you have tried it a lot.

At least beans, chili and soup is good for you lol do you put ham in your beans? That is extra protein and when cooked like that it makes it really really soft.

If Susan comes to the meeting we will make sure she has a chair to prop her foot up on ok? Hey I think I have a foot stool you can have let me look in the trailer or the shed and see.

 

DEB:::::: we know you aren’t ungrateful about the weight loss but just wi**** were more.

If you are on a stall your body is adjusting to the new weight and you are probably losing inches right now. But you can break a stall by upping your protein and upping your water. See the post I did to Tammy about the importance of water for us….you have to get in as much as you possible can and then force more. Also up your exercise.

If you do those three things you can break a stall.

Is the 6 month old baby yours or a grandson? Don’t think I could take care of that many for sure. What in the world are you thinking girl taking care of that many kids???

You are going to have to learn to say NO!!!!!

 

 

RENEE::::: so very sorry to hear about the young man in your community …that is horrible…im sure there is a medical reason for it will they be doing an autopsy?

 

Yes I got her some for her to disable him for awhile anyway. Told her if nothing else it would give her time to get in her car and get out of there and to drive as fast as she could to the police station.

I wanted to tell you that I am very excited for you when you called there was something going on that I couldn’t react like I wanted to lol about your approval but WOW THAT IS GREAT!!!!!!

Good Morning Jan And All.
 No the 6 month old is my grandson. If he were mine i would of climbed up on the roof and jumped off when i had of found out i was pregnant. I have 3 thats enough, A 26 yr old son a 24 yr old son and a 6 year old daughter,The rest are grandkids.
 I don't babysit them anymore they just come over almost every night. I told them all last night i was moving and not leaving a forwarding address. I love them dearly Just not every single day or night.I can't stand them yelling and screaming. Never could deal with a crying baby ,don't know how i survived my own LOL.
  My BIL dug me up some Iris's from their flower bed ,They were taking it over,He brought them up planted them for me,I just hope they will grow for next spring.
  Have a walnut tree that fuzzy butt lives under in his condo{ doghouse} they are starting to fall outta  the tree ,He hears them hitting the leaves on the way down  starts running ,But isn't really sure which way to go without getting bonked on the head with one. I know it sounds mean but i about peed myself watching him last night.
 Just got on scales a few min ago down 1 lb, But hey i'll take it. 230 weeeeeeeeeeeee.
  We are going to Brasher today if we can get ahole of Wanda to go buy more Christmas, didn't make it over last week. There is a huge Arch Gail wants to get, Says the kids will love it.It is Animated. has elves and Santa that moves. For 150 buxs they better be passing out candy canes LOL.
  I have pretty much stuck with pudding and popsicles since the tuna episode. I did try some deli shaved ham, It was a no go either. Yesterday it felt like even water was getting stuck,What is up with that?????????.
 Stating my vit again this morning hopefully. And Thanks to Jen i have enough Calcium to last awhile.Thank You Jen

 Janet Just wanted to say I love reading your post. I' m sorry yur butt is broke ,that has gotta be very painful,plus all your other pain,But your post are like reading a short story. You really should be an author i'd buy yur books. You put so much detail and visualization into the post. By the time i am doing ready i need another b-12 LOL.
I don't think i could be as kind and sweet as you are and be in all that pain all the time. I have DJD and when i hurt i am not a nice person.I give people visualizations too but they aren't nice ones LOL.

  Until you find a stun gun for your daughter, Just tell her if he gets to close before then a real good HARD kick to the groin will stun him long enoug to getaway. I will look on ebay today ,Maybe i can find you one on there.

 Jan Just checked ebay they have lots of stun guns at pretty cheap prices ,I checked tasers too they had one but it looked like a stun gun to me but it was pretty cheap also. I'm thinking the tasers maybe hard to get ahold of, But i'll keep looking for you . here is a taser  site 54.99 http://www.blade-empire.com/Air_Tasers.shtml  all the other sites are around 400- 600 dollars.
 
 

Hi all - my dd got here at 7pm and we had BLT's, corn on the cob and fruit salad ready for them.  They had stopped at the 63 diner in Columbia but it was closed.  I love cooking for friends & family - LOL.  Stayed up late visiting and chasing after Jamie.  He has gotten so tall!  When they pulled in the drive and he got out - he ran right to me!  I thought he might be a bit scared since I have changed so much.  It was a wonderful feeling!

We are going up to the the Annual Red Barn Arts & Crafts festival downtown this am.  Will have to park 6 blocks away but I need to walk anyway.  If anyone is up this way you need to go to this.  It gets bigger year.

When dd called me to say they were in Missouri she wanted to know if I would meet them in Springfield - I suggested they come home 1st then when they are going to Texas they can stop in Spg and visit with ds then as the drive would not be so hard on them.

That was fear up there!!!  ~tee hee not really!  Well.... in reality maybe just a tiny bit.  I went to tell Paul this morning when he got up "Ok I'm scared now"!  I was just going to be kidding and can you believe before I could get it out a tear was running out of my face! 

All of your well wishes have been so precious to me!  Your excitement for me has been such an encouragement also!!!  I hope I am never amiss in telling all of you how very much you have helped me thru this whole thing!  Every ONE of YOU!

My countdown 's message to me was very creative this morning! and yes I only have two more wake up's (that was cute) and only one more day!!! Oh wow oh wow oh wow!!! 

{{{Deb}} more tears when I read you second post from yesterday...

Ok these darn tears just have to stop I have a huge amount of things to do today.... I did not get a thing done yesterday except get that "pleasingly lemony flavored" mag citrate along with all the other things I needed.... did get a bottle of the Tylenol liquid blast... after the week I've had I sure hope that stuff works!  also got some new lip balm too...  I have fixed up a small bottle with distilled water for my c~pap... and got two diff robes in my case.... 

I was not too upset about not getting anything done yesterday ...... I had a wonderful day with Paul.  We bummed around all day..... he was so incredibly sweet to me!  A day I will remember for some time that's for sure!  I think it has finally set in with him (he is not one to speak alot of words or show alot of emotions... yet a very solid good man) what is about to happen.... he kept telling me... you better do this and you better do that... you won't be able to do this again or that again. It was too funny.  His mind is rolling about just how he is going to take care of me!!! ~just too funny!  I told him I would not be an invalid... we talked about wigs how he would feel about that and also some of the changes that would be coming and so forth.... about added hormones and possible depression... although I'm not claiming any of that!!! ~ha  anyway it was just a good day!

I got a great deal on some shoes I needed... seems all the soles were coming off the pairs I wear regularly... then we bought a new travel pen for Tito.... the one we have is way too big for taking places.... we even got that on sale... $20 off!  Just was a good day!

Now I have to boogie.... the week did not go as I planned... I will see how much I can squeeze in today and tomorrow.... it will help keep my mind off the liquid diet and what's to come....I sure feel for Lynette in having to do the two weeks... I am praying the headache does not return with the liquids...seems I have that problem every time I try and do the liquids... doesn't matter it has to be done!

My AJ will be home tonight around 9:00 p.m.  Oh boy I can't wait!!!  I love her so much! just having her close is such a great great comfort! ....her tender sweet spirit is very calming!  She has so much on her plate right now with school and the projects she has going on that I hated for her to take the time to come home for this... I know it will put her behind and having to work all that much harder to get caught back up!  I will and  have been praying the Lord will give her the added strength it will take!

I want to say again THANK YOU to everyone that has come along with me thru this past two years!!!  It has been a very very long journey it seems and I have had one wonderful thing after another come my way thru all of you!  If ever I know my Lord loves me it is now and that is largely because all of you have reached out to me so wonderfully!!  Raise your heads high and be proud of yourselves!  Janet told me this would me my week end to shine... but it is not me that is shining it is all of  YOU!

Today is going to be very busy but I have some news.  MY HUBBY AND I SLEPT IN OUR NEW ROOM LAST NIGHT....IT IS GORGEOUS!  Today we are going to move the kids' rooms around.  Things are getting done little by little.  We have to paint their rooms and out here in the livingroom but we are going to hold off on that.  Have a great day and God bless, Penni

I do not know how you all keep each other straight!  I have gone back and forth from post to post and still get confused as to who is who. (Yes, bad grammar, forgive me)  Who has had the surgery, who is newly pre-op, newly approved and still waiting for approval.  Those of you who keep it all straight impress the heck out of me...frankly it makes my head hurt.  But I am slowly beginning to catch on...three years ago this board was dead....it was easier then.

Jan...so sorry to hear that your daughter had to watch you go thru beatings like that.  What makes men think that beating a woman makes them tough?  I'm thankful he didn't take your life and that your daughter realizes that her soon to be ex could be a threat.  Hopefully you can find something to help her protect herself.  And the mental image of a tazer to the groin..smile.  It could be messy too, well, for him anyway.  Yes, I am planning a huge estate sale in the spring.  We are planning on renting tents and potties and serving food because it will be that big.  I will make sure and let you all know when.  It might be worth a day trip.  I would let you all come early, too, for a special preview.  I price cheap because I want it gone.  Most people can't believe my prices because I rarely price what things are worth.  She does have some antiques and those may be a little higher but not much.  Like I said, I want this part of my life over.  I can't take much more of this.

Bec....you are such a sweetie.  I am so glad you had a beautiful day with your love.  Aren't days like that one in a million?  Makes the icky days more bearable.  You are about to go thru every emotion possible in the next few days, hang in there, you'll be okay.  Remember how hard you fought to get here and keep your eyes on the prize.  Possibly no more meds, improved health and you will probably quit dancing with that cpap later on (I know I did).  Besides, as you get ready to go, they give you wonderful happy meds, I remember telling everybody how much I loved them.   Sheesh, I'm such a goomer.  I was terribly nervous but the meds take the edge off.  I'm so happy for you and so is everybody here.

Sherr....didn't tell you the other day.  I grin every time I see your name.  My daughter's online name is Blondiestarr so it's like seeing her every time I see you (sniff).  You doing better today?

Debbie D....I do live in Raymore which is pretty central to everything KC.  So I'm close to OP, too.  If everybody comes up for Bec's one month post-op I would love to meet.  I know she depends on all of you so much.  I would love to meet since you and Barbara are quite a bit closer.

Penni....yay on your new room.  Isn't is fun to have a new space finally done?  Breathe a little, take a break and then you can hit the rest.

Well I need to get motivated and go clean our church building.  My husband is mowing the church property today since the city thinks it needed it.  We are trying to sell it since we feel the church needs to move south.  Have a great day everybody.

Hey Peggy, thank you for the sweet words.  I  have been reading posts over at bariatric eating (where I buy my protein) they have a board with recipes and stuff too, and I realize that I used my pain as a crutch, while lots of you guys hurt as bad or worse than I do, you STILL STICK WITH THE PLAN....

I got so far off the plan, I will have to call it a different plan...LOL.... When I could eat things that were not good for me, and they stopped coming back up....I ATE THEM again on another day....thinking....well if they stay down, HOW BAD COULD IT BE?

it could be REALLY BAAAD!!

I am trying so hard to renew myself while I wait to see what the issues are next Friday....But, I am re-focusing.....and will try to STOP WITH THE EXCUSES.

Hi Everybody!!!  It's been a while since I've posted on the what's happening post again.  My life is pretty boring, I don't really have much to tell about.

We (Deb, Jen & I) had our 1 mo visit/class at MoBar Thursday.  I really enjoy it.  I love seeing them & talking with everyone else that had surgery the same time as us.  There were 2 girls that were 2 mo out instead of 1 mo out.  One of them was a riot!!!!  I can't remember her name, but she was from Joplin.  Jen & Deb are both looking GREAT!!!  Lynn & I both said that we could really tell that they've lost weight.

My tummy's not feeling so good this morning, so I'm gonna keep it short.

BEC!!!  I am so excited for you!!!  Monday you're gonna be a loser!!!!!!!

First of all Jan, "The check is in the mail". Thanks for the compliment on my Grandaughter. She was here when I got you email and she thought you were sweet. I think you are on the right track with your daughter. Sound like a taser would be the perfect thing for her. If she has to use it she could feel alot better waiting for the police if she can hit the button once in a while to keep him down and after it's all over she can laugh at how he screamed like a baby! What revenge!! LOL
