WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY
Good Morning Jan and Everyone.
Natalie just called and I need to up my protein, I knew that was coming, And i am trying. She also is calling the pain clinic for me and gonna try and get me an appt since my Dr refuses to do it.THe swelling in my legs and ankles she thinks is due to protein. But will talk to Dr in Nov when i go for follow up appt.
Angy-Hope Skylar is feeling better today and hope the meds start working for her soon. As cold as it is i can only imagine how bad she must hurt.Hope you are feeling better too.
Bec- Glad your Dr visit went good, I have been praying that the Lord will touch and heal your pain. So i know you'll be feeling better soon.
Jan- I hear ya on feeling bloated i feel that way all the time. And I have diarrhea today,But it's my fault. I took 4 tbls of M.O.M last night. Thought i would feel better if i cleaned out the plumbing.Lord knows i don't wanna have to be calling the rotorooter man.LOL
Does the fern have to hang in a widow where the sun will hit it?
Sugar- Hope you have a great time on your trip and that it is a safe one. I love the fall and the color changes of the leaves.
Renee- Just wanted ya to know i will be praying your surgery goes great and that you have a very speedy recovery.
Lou- Wishing you a unevenful surgery, a very speedy revory and know yur in my prayers, Just think only 4 days left you two.
Shannon- Thank you for the hosp number and the name of a dr, I'll be calling her soon. Natalie just recommended her also.
Janet- So happy to hear you are feeling better.Feeling bad and pain suxs putty balls. Natalie is calling the pain clinic for me ,so hopefully she can get me an appt. Ya have to be refered by a dr and mine won't do it. why is beyond me,but he won't. I am sick of quick fixes that only work maybe 30 min at the most then the meds wear off. I want something thats gonna last awhile.I don't want drugs i want a fix LOL.
One day as i was driving Nikki to her couciling appt she was 4 at the time. She asked me mom mom, this is what she used to call me anyways,she asked mom mom why did you and daddy take me away from mommy. OMG my heart instantly broke and the tears started flowing .What was i gonna say to her? I looked at her and said Because We Love you and want you safe. She said because of what my brothers did to me? I said yes and because right now your mommy needs to see a dr and get some help too. Kinda like how you go see your coucilor except she needs to see a different kind of Dr.This was the only explanation i had that i thought she would maybe understand at her age. It seemed to calm her so i guess it musta been ok.
Then when we were going to court to get custody of her, One night she came in the house just cring her heart out, Right into my arms she came i asked her what was wrong? She said i don't want to go live with my mommy. I wanna live with you because I love you and i would miss you.She said i wanna go visit her but don't wanna live with her. So her we both are bawling our eyes out. And i promised her she would not have to go live with her mommy,That she was staying right here with me. I Thank God everyday for the judge we had that gave us custody,I should not of made a promise to her that i wasn't sure i was gonna be able to keep,But her heart was breaking so i couldn't stop myself. I do alot of things i shouldn't now that she is MINE. Because she is really spoilt. But she is my spoilt child lol.
Everyone tells me that if they didn't know better they would swear she was my child, They say she even looks like me, Her daddy says he dosen't stand a chance with both of us, LOL. They even say she acts like me. attitude and all. Now depending on how they put that it could be a good thing or a bad thing LOL.

I think that I will get the questionaire after I click the pick pals button but I can't do that until everyone has signed up. and right now there are 13 people so I need one more to make it even. So hopefully by Saturday well be ready to get our pals.
I'm making ribeye for dinner I hope I can eat a little of it. Cooking it on my stove top grill. My hubby has been dying for steak. I haven't made any since surgery lol. It's just that I'm scared of it in my new tummy. I'll let ya know how it goes. I hope court goes well for Michelle Monday and Jason gets everything he deserves!!!

***Janet***I'm feeling soooo much better--that Z-pak the doc gave me really knocked it out. Yeah it does count that it wasn't your fault that you had to go to the ER but you've had enough BS so I'm hoping you don't go back there anytime soon. I love ya and don't like to see you in pain. I hope the get things fixed on ya soon!!! I can't wait to meet you girl. The sunflower seeds sounds like a good idea I'll have to get me some. Hopefully the secret pal thing will be up and going Saturday. I need one more person to make it even though. Hey how's Melissa? She was one of the first people I talked to on here I was just wondering how she is and what's going on with her. Oh and don't forget to send me that recpie please.

Did you have lap or open? Congrats on the no meds thing thats sooo awesome!!! Man I lovedddd pintos n cheese from taco bell the month after surgery. I lived on them. Where is your surgeon? Kansas? I was thinking about coming up for your next appointment. See if some girls from here would like to go. Yes I had trouble sleeping on my side--I had to lay flat on my back--for a long time few months it felt like everything inside was gonna fall to the other side if I layed on my side too much. (man I said side alot there)

***Deb Poohbear***Have they tried to put you on a water pill to help with the swelling? I take 3 a day. I pee like a russian race horse but it feels good not to be all tight and swalloen. You're such a good mom mom Nikki is lucky to have you.
Deb C is giving me an exercise bike Sunday and I can't wait!!! I'm putting it right in my lving room so I HAVE to see it everyday and feel guilty if I don't get on it. Wish me luck. Also my nurse said she has an olympic machine like a ski machine thing that I can have I just have to drive the 60 miles to get it. I'm thinking in a couple weeks I'll do that. Hope you all are well.

Hello all...well working so much I dont really get computer time much anymore so since i have time tonight here I be!!!! Went for my one year checkup yesterday.... I am down to 203 still waiting to cross over to Onderland but it will happen soon...good to see that everyone is doing so well...will stop in again soon just letting you all know I am still kicking here!

Good evening OH peeps! It's been a long day glad tomorrow is Friday. My kid I work with at school was bouncing off the walls today about drove me crazy. He didn't want to do anything today only what he wanted to do and that just doesn't work.
I discovered this morning that I have bones! I looked in the mirror and I have collar bones now they sure didn't show when I was over weight. I also am able to see my hip bones, wow now that's amazing. I can't believe I'm so excited about bones! I guess when your not used to seeing them you forget they are actually there.....ha, ha.... Bones, bones, and more bones.....
I tried to go to water aerobics this evening, well that didn't go over very well. I bought a new bathing suit over the summer size 16 and put it on tonight to wear it for the first time and it was too big! I decided to go anyway and see if it would stay on me. Lets just say that I got in the pool and my extra tummy wanted to go up and the bottom of my suit wanted to go down! I had to hold my bottoms up and tried to exercise. I kept losing my suit so I decided to cut class and go home. I guess I need to buy another suit.....
I fixed a stuffed turkey tenderlion for dinner well I took 2 small bites and that was the end of my dinner. I love to cook but it seems like every time I fix something that sounds good like this I get sick and can't eat. I told my sister I was going to stop cooking she begged me not to.....ha, ha,.... All I had to eat today was about 1/3 c of cottage cheese, and a cheese stick and I won't forget my 2 bites of turkey which didn't count since I lost it. Maybe tomorrow will be better?
