WHATS HAPPENING FOR FRIDAY

Good Morning Mama Jan & MO Peeps:

Brrr, it is cold outside!  I was going to get up early and take the "girls" (my toy poodles) into the vet's office for their shots.  However, decided to sleep in.  Will take them in sometime next week (Lord willing).

DH went to work today.  Not sure if he really should have.  This bronchitis really hit him hard and fast.  He is feeling a little better.  I'm planning on doing NOTHING this weekend but taking care of him.  I want him to come home tonight, take a nice long bath and spend the rest of the evening lounging around and watching TV.  Plan on the same for tomorrow.  Hopefully, by Sunday he will feel like going to SS and Church.  We are teaching this month.  I can go without him, I just don't like too.

I'm feeling better.  I think my stomach ache was caused from constipation.  Since I'm regularly taking the stool softener with laxative, it's not been hurting.  Now I'm hoping that me and the kids don't get that nasty stuff dh had.

Luke's play is next week.  It's called "Into the Woods".  He is the narrator.  I've got to call today and reserve tickets.  I also need to call the photographer and set up an appointment to order his Senior pics.  Then we have to order announcements next week.  I got the information today, it's over $200 to order announcements!  I about fell out of my chair!  Needless to say it's going to be an expensive year!

My stepson, Josh, is going to come out tonight and help me figure out how many tiles I will need for the back splash.  I really need his help on how many of the mosaic ones I need and how many (if any) of the border.  The tile company said it takes about a week to get in an order.  So I'm not sure if they'll be here by next weekend or the weekend after next.  I'm really hoping to have my kitchen done by Thanksgiving!

We're having a painting company come out tonight at 5 and give us a bid on painting our kitchen/family room area and the entry way and hall way.  We just painted it a little over a year ago, it was a HUGE mess and I really have grown to dislike the color.  Plus it doesn't match my new counter tops!  Hope it's not too much.  Would be great to have someone come in and do it professionally and get it done in a day.  I also want them to take down the border in my kitchen.  Would like to get that done by Thanksgiving too.  Think I'm hoping for too much!?  lol!

Jan - wow you got a lot done yesterday!  You never cease to amaze me!  Hey, did your other test results come back?  What did they say?

Bec - hope you enjoyed your time with your Sis.  You gotta take pics of that tablecloth and post them on-line.  Remember, you can email them to me and I'll post them for you.

Sugar - when is your friend's wedding?  I think it's great you're helping her with all the planning.  I know she appreciates it.

Jeanine - I'm with you.  We need to PRAY for our new President Elect.  Whether or not we like or agree with him, God has let him be the President and we are to honor that.  That doesn't mean we have to agree and we should still make our voices known.  I am continuing to pray for His mercy upon this country.  Praise God, He is still in control.  GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME.  ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD.  I borrowed that last part from Mama Jan!

Peggy - Hon, glad you're back home!  We missed seeing your smiling face on the board!  Just don't over do it and take care of yourself.  Hopefully, you'll be back full force before too long.

Bev - sorry to hear your sick.  If you have what dh has I know you really don't feel well.  Hope you're feeling better soon!

Well, I'd better scoot.  I have to get the kitchen and living room picked up.  Don't want the house to be a mess when the painting guy comes to give us a bid.

Hope everyone has a great and safe weekend!  Keep Warm!

Hi everyone, TGIF!  I did have a great day yesterday with my husband Frank.  We went to my appt. in Columbia, everything was good.  Renee was there and she's doing good too.  We chatted while we waited for appts and class.  It was intresting to talk to other people that had the surgery done @ the same time and compare notes.  I'm so happy that I can finally get to have some meat.  Frank and I stopped at Applebys and i tried talk him into having fish, so I could have just a few bits.  He wasn't having it so I ordered this fish and here comes this huge plate with broccoli, fish and a baked pototo. HA what a waste, I did my thing to the fish, i can only eat about 1 oz and the waitress kept asking me if everything was ok.  Frank decided next time maybe we could share.  OMG we could have spent 10$ instead of 25$.  We hit the outlet mall in Osage.  That was fun and then I dropped off the clothes at Angies. I didn't get to meet her she was visiting Susie, whom i'm so happy is doing great.  Today is freezing and I'm already over it.  I hope everyone has a great weekend.  We are going to the art walk downtown tonight.  Should be fun if we don't freeze to death.  Lou (~.~)
