Thank you for the encouragement
As I am winding down this cold and wet Monday I realize that this is the last day that I will ever be able to eat the way that has comforted me for years. I am saying good by to a deadly habit and saying hello to life. I will begin my 2 week liquid diet tomorrow! Thank you for your support.

for you will be so glad you did it . Wow day one almost over... I had to go to the hospital today to meet with the anesthesiologist, get last minute labs and one last EKG done. All looks great. Now what I need to do is survive this liquid diet. I just keep thinking of the end result... I am trying to keep myself busy!! I am trying to keep a positive attitude because I realize that this part is just mind over matter. However today when I went to the nutritionist who supposedly specializes in bariatric patients.... every question I asked she had NO clue! I just want to make sure that I have the right vitamins when I get done!
