Hi All

As most of you know I am having a terrible time getting protein in and was wondering if you all could bring some high protein recipes to the meeting?  Any and all would be of great help.  Karen talked about some protein balls.  Just some way I can get some protein in.  And if you are not coming to the meeting, and you have any suggestions I would love to hear them too!!   Thanks all!

My favorite way to boost protien is to take the New Whey Liquid Protein vial (fruit flavored, 42 grams ea.) and mix it with one cup cold water, serve over ice.  It takes like Kool Aid.  It you purchase them online through supplements.net they are much cheaper than buying them at GNC or a health food store.

However, my dietician said they are not as easily absorbed, so I don't do that all the time.

I also take the Injury Powered Protein and mix it with 2 cups of ice cubes and water, add one package of my favorite sugar free jello pudding and mix in the blender until frothy.  This is an excellent source of protein and you can add bananas, egg, or whatever else you'd like to increase the substance, taste, etc.

Good luck!

Also Dave Chambers out of CA sent me a link for a new product that I'm going to be trying.  You might be interested in checking it out.  Here is the link:  http://liquidbariatricvitamins.com/liquidbariatricvitamins/BariCare.htm

He said the chocolate drink tasted like licking the brownie batter bowl, lol.  God knows I miss that!!
