Deer Meat marinade
Many years ago a lady from St louis told me to soak my deer meat in buttermilk to get rid of the wild or gamie taste and it works. I grew up with my mom soaking the venison in vinegar and I never liked it but when I started using buttermilk she switched to it also and it makes a differance. I can cook it so you never know its deer meat. Thought you all my like this littel tidbit of info.
