WHATS HAPPENING FOR TUESDAY
Had a great meeting tonight , with some vistors from the far frozen north . lol Angie, Karen, Raynette and Susie but we claim Susie too, loved having you all with us. It was a little wild tonight but got a lot of good talking done too. Missed the ones that didn’t come tonight. Janet, Renee, Lana, Jeanine., everyone was asking about you all. Im sorry I know there are more of you that usually attend and weren’t there but my brain is fryed, Joe was so tired and hurting that we didn’t go to eat , I did stop at wal mart and grabed some thiyngs but didn’t staady long.
We discussed having the Christmas party the Monday before the 22 but have it the 15th instead...Sugar said she would check with the church to see if they have it available.
And instead of having it at the Library..will have it at the Calvary Baptist Church in Republic... lots more room if we have a lot to come and no time limits actually . Sugar and Janet are going to have some really neat stuff for our party ....if you have never been to one of Sugars parties you are in for a treat, she doesn’t do any thing half way....
Today was a pretty day as long as you were protected from the wind , Tuesday suppose to be really pretty tomorrow. Don’t know what I will do tomorrow. I have got to get all my ducks in a row so I can figure out what to do first. Have to clean the house and clean the trailer
ANDY & SUSAN:::::::: hope the trip was good and accomplished what you all wanted . you will have to tell us all about it. ....I know it had to be late when you all got home.

When I got to the Library all the tables we needed were all sitting up just had to push them around so it all was ok. Thanks for thinking of me tho. I had already told Joe that if the tables were all folded up against the walls I was just going to sit the chairs around and we would go with them like that. Joe was extremely tired time we got home but he went right to bed and I hope right to sleep....
SUGAR::::::: well you got the ball rolling tonight with the Christmas party...let us know when you find out about the date,. It is alright if it cant be on the 15th tho . I know you and Janet together will come up with a slam bang party....
Will be praying for your kids as I know you do mine....thanks for doing the party , you and Janet should be a good team...
COR:::::: sure you can do it....you are a strong woman and don’t need cigarettes . keep on , keeping on you will get there. Sounds like you are determined and if you are half as determined as you were to get approved , you have it made.
I would say you are more than ready to have the surgery. Keep up the good work youre going to make it girl.
JANET::::::: well you better get this sickness done and over with...once and for all and no fooling around , we wont accept any reasons for you not to be at the Christmas party.
I invited the girls from the Beautiful Butterflies to our Christmas party but they said they had 3 others to do right at the same tine frame.
Im so happy for you to have Stephania come home even if it is just for a while. ...hope you all have a great Thanksgiving,.
Well went to the doctor today and ask her about the arthritis patches and she said they were really good if you just have arthritis in on spot like , knees or hips, they only deliver the meds to an area...but said there is a cream that has diclofenac sodium in it . so she gave me a couple of samples. And it really seems to work pretty good ...the cream name is Voltaren Gel. She also put me on Fentanyl patches for pain. You change them evrery 3 days. . hopefully the gel will help reduce the inflammation in the joints. ...enough that I can get out and walk anyway....cause this is the way I got fat in the first place was that my joints started hurting so badly that I quit walking and then came the pounds.
Anyway that is the report on the arthritis patches. I had big hopes on them...

SUSIE:::::; hi again lol ....you looked awfully tired tonight. Take it easy on your self...and if you are going to go clothes shopping for every size you go thu you will be shopping every week. Lol that is why we exchange clothes, or buy at good will or thrift shops lol
Take it easy and get your strength back...if in another week you are still as week and tired please call your doctor and get a check up ok?

Have to go get my "chores" done, breakfast made for the crew and lunch packed up... dishes done... I pooped out last night EVEN after that wonderful nap I took! ~tee hee

Good morning...I will check on the church availability for the 15th but I dont know what will be happening, so will post that later.
We collected about $25 or 30 last night for helping to pay for the party stuff so thanks to everyone for that! It sometimes gets hard when all of that comes out of your own pocket (especially this time of year) lol!
Now, some details that I forgot to mention...you can bring a wrapped gift with a $10 limit to exchange...we will play the take away game, so that will be fun! But if you dont want to participate that is okay and you dont have to.
Bring your favorite weight loss friendly food dish...or a regular potluck dish...just make sure to mark if it is not sugar free. We will have a meal together so please not everyone bring a dessert...lol! We may post a sign up sheet for people later on so we can have an idea what you are bringing. A few of us may need to sign up to bring meat of some sort. I think I will just plan now to bring some ham.
Janet you and I need to get together soon and do some figuring and planning some fun idea stuff and getting our outfits ready!!! lol!

Last night at the seminar they said the office is booked up until February with new patients and that we have to see the Bariatrician first before you see a surgeon and he determines what tests are needed and so forth, well I just got off the phone with Columbia and not only do I have an appointment Dec. 22 but I am seeing Dr. Feering which is one of the surgeons, God really knows how to give you miracles, yay!! I'm so excited I have my first appointment so soon!!

Hi Auntie Jan and OH Peeps~
Im so sorry I missed the meeting. Im still not up to par, but so far this morning, my throat doesnt hurt....so YAY for that. Still have a bothersome cough-but nothing I cant live with. Jon coughed a lot towards afternoon and into the evening, but once he showered, I put vicks on the bottom of his feet and gave him his cough meds and tylenol and he is still sleeping-which is rare. Maybe he will be all caught up on his sleep! That would be nice. He has been so tired lately, that when we have had to go somewhere, within 3-4 minutes he is asleep.
I hope that its as nice as they say its going to be today-PLUS-they say its NOT going to be windy. If its not, Jon and I are going to go on an adventure and get out of the house for a bit. I thought about taking him to his favorite park today-so we will see what the weather is like! Would love to take him and Molly-think it will be one of the last times for the park for awhile.
Megan had another appt with her ortho dr.....bad news. Her S1 is deteriorated-like mine. They want to start her on the steroid injections right away. She also found out yesterday that one of her legs is longer than the other and because of that-its making her hips have issues-seperating or whatever they called it a couple of months back-which we all contributed to the pregnancy! He showed Aaron HOW to pop her hip and leg yesterday. She said that when he did it-it was instant relief. Still had SOME constant pain, but nothing like she had had. Darn it-I was so hoping that there was nothing wrong except for the pregnancy making her hips and back hurt like that. They are going to be running more tests on her......and doc said that he wont do any surgeries until after the baby is born, and the steroid injections will HAVE to be okay'd by her OB Dr. first.
I had to run to the store and get a script filled-since the boys were sharing one of the cough meds-anyway-got a few things while I was there and Jon asked if he could play that claw game if he was good throughout the store, told him yes.....(its the thing that can grab stuffed animals or whatever is in the game) well-he NEVER wins and then just gets so upset....HE WON yesterday!! He said-Mom, I want to get that deer wearing the shirt for my daddy-and HE DID! Well, let me tell you-that kid was SCREAMING and Hoopin' and Hollerin" like an adult that had just won the lottery-Im NOT joking!!!!! (everyone was staring and smiling at his excitement) For the next 3 hours-there was not even a minutes worth of peace and quiet, he was too excited. NON STOP talking, talking, talking!!! Man, I was ready to pull every hair out of my head! He even asked if he could call Megan. She is the one who always wins the claw game.....so he called her to tell her his good news and he just kept saying " I am just SO HAPPY" Then......when I went to check on the boys (they uncover themselves during the night etc) he must have been dreaming about winning because he was laughing in his sleep and when he stopped laughing-he had the biggest smile on his face!
I text with Sheila this morning. Her car got fixed-it was the ignition.....BUT...she went to the surgeon and her collar bone is NOT healing right-and they told her that in 2 weeks, if its not any better, that they will have to go back in and remove the plate they put in there!!! Are you kidding me? I couldnt believe it!!! So, if you could all say a prayer for Sheila, I know she would appreciate it! She said to tell you guys hello, that she misses you all and loves ya!
Well, I talked to my mom last night and I just know she isnt going to come for Thanksgiving, altho, I begged her to just be up front about it. I KNOW she isnt going to come-unless the girls GUILT her into it-and I would rather not have her here if thats the case! She really offended me too-because when I told her that I just wanted her to be honest about if she was going to TRY to come out or not-she said-well, how many other people are going to be there? If your going to have a bunch of other people there, I dont really want to come. WTH? So, another words, if its anyone but my immediate family-SHE wont come! How lame is that? Then, she TELLS me that IF she comes she IS bringing her dogs. She doesnt ASK me-she TELLS ME! Im like-WHOA....."I" cant have anyone here IF your coming-but you TELL me that your dogs ARE coming? What if I dont want 2 more dogs in my house? I didnt say that to her-but I was thinking it. I told her that I would think about it, but that I wasnt crazy about the idea. Ecspically since her newest dog, (my furbaby, Mollys brother) had kennel cough and he is STILL coughing-but she says he is done with all his meds and isnt catchy anymore....Who knows? I am just really disappointed that she acts like that. I kinda hope that IF she cant be positive for ONE stinking day, that she does stay home-I dont WANT OR NEED that here!
Well, I better get this post done, I have some emails to send out, then school work with Jon and a few calls to make and hopefully some outdoors time...Right now its really cold out there-so I hope the weather man didnt lie when he said it would be in the high 50s today........ Plus-have some boxes to get organized and that sort of thing, so todays a busy day.
**Jan-Sorry I missed the meeting and the girls from up north-that would have been so neat to see them! Darn it! Well, maybe next time-OR IF we ever get up there.....Glad you guys had a good meeting-but then again, we always do.......You always do..LOL.
I have been on the Fentanyl patches and they didnt help me whatsoever. Not one i-o-da! I will be praying, however, that they help for you, tho. The arthritis patches sound like they may help with the knee or the lowe back, but not everwhere......and the cream-is it like theragesic type cream?
Yes, Renee looked AWESOME in the dress! Im not sure now which one she will wear! They BOTH look so good on her....the long one is more "formal" because, of course, its long....but, I just dont know which she will choose-glad its her that has to pick and not me! I bet her girls will have a favorite-so she will most likely leave it up to the bride on which one she wears.
Anyway-YES....I WILL see you next month for the Christmas Party- I am praying for Joe.....that he feels better and that his pain stays under control. Tell him I say hi. Love you both. Hope you BOTH get relief!
**Bec-I am praying that the weather is good for you too-for your bike ride and picnic! How fun!!! I KNOW your in your glory-and just think-BOTH of the girls home for Christmas, for 2 weeks-whatever will you do with yourself???? Just wanted to jump on and say howdy to everyone...Not alot going on around this neck of the woods....Few of us are sick with the runny nose bit, but nothing drastic.....
Bout to get busy getting some of my prep work done for Thankgivng dinner, so looks like Ill be busy for a few days.....

Haven't been on here much lately,been doing the yard. Took 2 days over 18 hrs to set up all the blowups.Then we got the car setup and outlined.Now working on getting the soldiers,nativity set, Christmas tree,santa,presents,angels,candles and the lamp post out there.All the lights are on the house and the garage.I always go out and cut down a cedar tree of the side of the road out in the country and decorate it in the yard.This year it will have Santa and presents around it.Can't wait to see how it will look.They are suppose to bring us 7 bales of straw today for the manger scene so hopefully we can get it up tonight or tomorrow.The light company is coming down today also to either set a bigger transformer or set us our own.I sure hate to see the light bill in Jan but as long as it makes someone smile and happy it is worth the cost.
Glad ya'll had a good meeting lastnight.Sure wi**** wasn't so far away .I would love to come meet you all.

Janet- Hope you all get to feeling better soon. I feel for Jon and his nasty cough. Nikki just got over haveing the nastiest cough she has ever had. It lasted forever.Was starting to get worried about her. I really hesitated about letting her going hunting with her daddy, But she wanted to go so badly,I dressed her in so many clothes and shirts she walked like a penguin lol.She had a great time so i'm glad i let her go.
I am happy you liked the baby clothes. Was afraid my likes would not be anything you would like. But i got things i thought were adoreable hoping you would like them.
Hope you and Jon get to do the outdoor activities today.Won't be long and the snow will be blowing.Then Nikki will have me out in the yard scooping snow to make her snow icecream LOL.
Bec- Hope you have a wonderful time today on your outting. When we lived in Columbia i used to go walk the katie trail by the river ,It was so peaceful and relaxing.
Andy and Susan- Hope they can figure out whats going on and get it fixed for you, Susan good luck on your new journey and hopefully they can get you in before Feb.
Cor- Good luck on stopping smoking i know you can do it. I smoked for 30 years and just stopped completely on July 14th for my surgery. I have started again sure wish i hadn't of. But i knew in order to have a safer surgery it was something i had to do and just made myself do it. I also took chantix which i believe helped and feel if i would of kept taking it i would not be smoking now.I'll be praying you can quit but i know you can do it.

The respiratory bug ha**** home - I started coughing and nose running at work today and feel lousy. I am still going on my trip and will go into work tomorrow as I want my holiday pay. If you call in sick the day before and/or after your holiday you lose your holiday pay and I need it to bad at this time.
I need to get busy packing and make a couple of loaves of english muffin bread to take even though we have orders we are not to bring anything but ourselves (LOL).

Whew, it's that time of year when everything just goes crazy! So so busy...but that's ok, it's better than being slow.
We got our windows in yesterday and they were done before 1pm! I am so happy with them....easy to clean and I swear the house feels warmer! (Course that wouldn't have anything to do with how beautiful it is outside, would it?) I just couldn't be any happier.
Janet....you are so sweet....doggone it, I wish I could give you a big old hug. You deserve it! You go thru so much stuff and you STILL worry about me and so many others. I am feeling so much better, I haven't felt this good in over a year! My thyroid levels are at 1.01 and I can feel the difference. Weight is coming off and I have more energy. My anemia is improving, too. Maybe the gallbladder coming out was the best thing...my hubby always said I was full of pi** and vinegar....maybe it was just bile!!! (snicker) Anyway, I am praying for you and everything you are continuing to deal with. I'm glad to hear everybody is slowly beginning to feel better. And Renee's hair was gorgeous! Good job!
Susan...thanks for asking about this goofy cat! He is such a brat...he will try to get into the guest room 4 or 5 times a day. And today I came home and guess where he was? Curled up on the guest room bed, snoozing away! As far as I can tell he didn't eat any of the plants. I am so excited that you are getting in so soon and that Andy maybe also getting some answers soon! And even more so that you were able to get to Columbia. You enjoy your dad this week, ok?

You probably had something salty yesterday and whoop, there it goes. Stupid scales.....course I get on them every day myself...maybe I should take my own advice! But I am glad you are eating better.

Well, the first of our 3, yes....THREE.....Thanksgiving meals this week starts tonight. Church banquet....so I need to get off here and get my cooking finished. Then we'll have ours Thursday and then travel to Salina on Saturday for my mom's family get together. I'm already feeling stuffed....burp!
