Sunday Post (con't)

I knew when I ended my earlier post that I had forgotten someone and I couldn't for the life of me think who it was and when I went out to walk... I thought of it...

Tamatha 63 ~ It sure has been nice you see you post again... I know how you feel about missing your kids and grands!  I sure missed my Jo when she went back to school after Thanksgiving and I can't wait to be with both girls on the 22nd.  It seems to be hard on me right after they have been here for awhile and then they are gone.... I keep thinking I will get used to it but I haven't yet...

I'm so sorry about your brother in law... my goodness what a lot to have happen! And how painful that must be for your husband to see him go thru all that.

I too seems have "stalled" more weeks than I have lost since surgery.  But eventually the scales do move so take heart.... kay?

Rachel it was good to see you post too!  Glad to hear all is going well with you. Isn't it so easy for life to get busy and before you know a long time has gone by and it seems like just a short while?

Mimi ~ are you and Sugar going to be able to make it up to the BBF Christmas Party? or do you know yet?

Susan ~ I would simply LOVE for you both to walk with me on Wednesday!  Oh how fun would that be!! Be sure and bring several layers of clothes for that, scarf, gloves, etc if you want to.

Ok I'm off now to get my shake down, upper body exercises and housework done...

Ya'll have a good afternoon!

Hi Auntie Jan and OH Peeps~

I have to make this short-as you can well imagine-things have been complete and udder madness around the Corbett house the past 3-4 days and I am GOING TO get my Christmas stuff up today come hell or high water-

Megan and baby are okay. As of now, they have her on heavy duty antibiotics, and she is being watched carefully. I was mistaken, doc says baby weighs 2# 14 oz, so almost 3#!! She will be able to survive should she make an early appearance, which doc suspects may happen. She said that Megans Group B Strep is severe, like mine was, with Stephanie. I ended up in the hospital once, but nothing like Megan just had. Megan had been released and ended up back, but they didnt admit her then, jus****ched her carefully for a few hours. So.....as of right now, all I can tell you is that the doc believes that Megan will be back in the hospital, maybe even a couple of times before Mackenzie gets here-and that she may even come early-BUT......because of her size, her chances of survival are EXCELLENT. I had been running, NON STOP-until yesterday when I got into the gmc to go to the wedding..........Please keep the prayers coming-AND THANKS!!!! for the prayers already prayed on behalf of my daughter and grandbaby! It makes me weep to think of how much love and concern you all show us and how undeserving I feel to be loved and cared for by all of you. I sure appreciate you and I hope, sincerely, that you ALL know that!

I didnt want to miss the wedding-I had missed everything else-the wedding shower, the rehearsal and all of that-and so Mike kept an eye on Megan and the boys while I went yesterday. What a beautiful, wonderful wedding that was and I was so blessed to be a part of that! However, I was AMBUSHED shortly after arriving at the church-my youngest neice (renees youngest) Tiffany had written this beautiful poem for Kala (renees oldest who got married yesterday) and SHE was SUPPOSE to read it at the wedding, but then gave the Auntie the sob story of being "shy" and having bronchitis.......so I was suckered, I tell ya! That kid owes me. I think naming her first daughter after me, will make the wounds heal some! LOL..... Anyway-I WILL have some pics posted in my profile soon! I got home late and I was beyond exhausted! I slept in this morning. Well, not really-but I did go BACK to sleep for 2 hours...LOL....the body is telling me-this is it lady, slow down and rest OR we WILL slow you down! So, I was happy to oblige.

Today I am posting the sign up for the COF party and then I am getting my own Christmas decorations up and start on this house! So-this is short, I know-but I have so much to do....I hope that everyone is doing good....PLEASE say some prayers for all of those right now who are in need- Barbara S and her baby, Baby....., for Tammys clan who are all sick, and for Sugars clan who are having issues. I sure hope her daughter and her b-friend dont lose their jobs and that her son and dil get through their financial issues. What a hard time everyone is having and I will be praying for everyone on the board who needs it! Also-for our Cor, who will be having her surgery! For strength and peace of mind! Cant wait to have her on the bench with us!

I will post more tomorrow. Love you all and thanks for the prayers! Janet

What I did over Thanksgiving - Just visited with family then  slept a lot when started getting really sick Friday after turkey day.  I had the sniffles before I went and the dr said my system was low enough from that that I picked up a virus which went into bacterial pneumonia.  I feel like I have been eating non stop since I have been on the steroids.  The scales have me weighing 158 pounds in just over a week.   I have edema in both feet which I believe is from the steroids as I have never had this before.  I have stayed down most of the day with my feet elevated and there is no change.  Going back to work tomorrow and have dr's appointment after work.  In general I feel better and am ready to rejoin the living.

Did get my little xmas tree up and the nativity set displayed on top of the entertainment center and will try to find my Christmas village & the front door wreath in the next few days.

Thank you for the prayers and get well wishes - I really love you all!
Sandy
