Today was not the best eating day...made some poor choices but tomorrow is another day.
Outta bed....coffee
At church....donut (drat!)
Lunch...carnitas w/sauteed onions & beans, chips & cheese
Snack...protein bar
Dinner....leftover mooshoo pork & crackers w/peanut butter
Uncomfortably full and ready for bed. Water is ok but I completely forgot my vits. How did you all do today? Please tell me you did better than I did, and even if you didn't, it's ok....we're here to support each other.

cup of coffee (decaf)
gordita crunch at taco bell with half the shell removed but it is 14 grms of protien
handful of grapes
2 sf cookies
meatballs and sauce and 1 boneless hot wing
only had 64 oz of water so far plus my 16 oz of pr. drink so doing ok on liquids
probably will go have some popcorn in a few minutes
hope your day was good and Im so looking forward to the pool tomorrow! It has been a whole week since they closed for repairs and it is really getting to me!

Sounds like another good day for you! After reading Bec's post, I have decided to begin writing my eating again. It helps me to plan and I do so much better when I plan ahead.

plenty of water all thru the day...
supper 2 slices of tomato, 2 slices of thick bacon some jalapenos and 1 potato chip lol
snack 2 protein balls.

I know you are back on the road today so I'm praying that your travel goes well and that you manage to eat well. I see how hard you are trying to work on food calories vs. drink calories.

Breakfast- black cherry yogurt
Snack-protein ball,but had to dipp em in s/f xhoc and make em look like buckeyes so i feel like i am cheating.
Dinner- tablespoon lasagna just meat and cheese but had a slice of garlic bread,I know bad bad girl
Snack-tangerine
Supper- tablespoon instant taters

Drinking hot tea right now seems to sooth the tummy
vitamines all in except 1 more calcium.i swear those things even cut in half are as big as a clydesdale {sp} LOL.If you count all the hot tea i've drank today i outta be pretty close on fluids ;Even if it don't count i'm still counting it LOL.
Not a great day but like you said tomorrow is a better day.I find if i want something very badly and deny myself it it will grab me by the butt and consume me all dad burn day long
.So i just give in at times not always but at times and go ahead and have a nibble or two then i am happy and obbssession goes away till next time, I do win more often than my old buddy obbsession anymore. So i think i'm headed down a fairly level road. If i dont give in at times i will eventual give in and eat the whole thing was fighting not to eat where as if i just take a bite or two i am done, dont want it no more ,so stress level goes down ,blood pressure goes down and neighbors can finally remove the cottonballs from their ears LOL'
I am thinking about just going and geting the slimfast shakes and drink those until i get to the weight i wanna be. I really don't see it happening if i don't. I went from 204 on the 5th to 218 on the 8th and still at 211 as of today. It is driving me bonkers LOL. And i don't care if it is only gonna be 17 degrees tuesday,23 wed,9 thursday,18 fri with single digits in the am all week my shar pei butt will be out there walking lol.I would try jogging but afraid id black my eyes then couldn't see how to get home. LOL. So am gonna start trying to do the shakes only until i lose at least enough to hit 199#.

Unless something has drastically changed since I had surgery, slimfast is a huge big no-no! Full of sugar and not good for us at all! Has Dr D changed his mind?
Have you tried the isopure clear ready to drink for protien and liquid? I really like it and GNC has it right now, buy 1 case and get the second at half price...one bottle is 20 oz and 40 grams of protien...
And of course you can count the tea but if it is caffienated it really isnt that good for you cause it dehydrates you...do you do the green tea? It is de-caf so it is good for you and totally counts...

I know you are frustrated because you keep stalling but don't try the Slimfast. They are crud in a can.... You will probably lose (never worked for me, I always called it "Slimslow" lol) for awhile then when you start eating again you will more than likely gain. Just keep doing what you're doing. Remember how much you have been thru this past month. With Gail's heart, Nikki's egg donor, your tummy and hospital stay and the anniversary of your brother's death coming up....You are under tons of stress and stress causes stalls. Drink some more water and try to get in more protein...you WILL start losing again. And getting the ol' sharpei hiney out & walking will definitely get you going in the right direction. Without the black eyes of course...

Both girls are gone most of the food is gone (even though I didn't each much of it at all) and now it's time to get to a new routine... I'm NOT thrilled about it either...
I went to support group this month and found out I need to be doing things a bit different than I have been so I'm going to try it and see how I do with it...
The little theme this month was "Resolutions" they were not hard ones and I was already doing most of them.. but here they are as best as I can remember them... and I know in somethings various docs are different in what they want you to do but it did give me some checks and balances so to speak to see if I was on track and heading in the right direction... I hope I tell this all right if not... please Mr. Doctor Man correct me!
Multi Vits x2 daily
Calcium Citrate x2 daily 500 to 600 mg daily. (my docs wants 400 three times a day) then B12.
Water: a quart a day to 64 oz... said anything over that was really overkill... I did not know that but sure glad it's not more than 64 as I struggle with that unless I keep the timer set all day...
Fiber supplement ~ 15 to 30 grams a day taken with water (rule of thumb one ounce water per gram)... he said use Benefiber or Citricel as others have something called psyllium seed and that is not good for you. Need to be doing this for good heath not just if you are having regularity issues. He said he had not really addressed this much but thought we should be doing it.
He said if you were in a stall and wanted to get moving again... this is what you needed...
Protein 60-80 grams absolutely no more than 120 ever, dieting or not.
1000 calories a day for weight loss (1400 a day for maintenance).
This is where I have to change things up a bit... he wanted us to eat 5 small meals a day... that's 5 two hundred calorie high protein meals... I can't hardly call that a meal... but I guess I need to do it... I know this will be a challenge... although I have not tried it this way since surgery I am hoping I will be pleasantly surprised! PLEASE Lord!
He discouraged more than one shake a day... wants of coarse us to get our protein in by as much food as possible.
I got tickled at him... he said if the Lord wanted us to get all our protein from "shakes" he would of hung cans on trees! ~tee hee
And then there is the ole exercise! try for at least 30 minutes a day in what ever form you can tolerate and in what ever time increments you can tolerate.
I asked a question about carbs and he said to put "no white diet" in the search engine and read what it had to say... of coarse he wants us to stay away from breads, crackers, and refined flours etc...
He said if the first three ingredients were flour, sugar or something else?? (can any of you girls that were there remember what the third thing was?) that it was probably not a good choice.
Man I hope I relayed this as he said it... if not someone please get in here and correct me... I sure won't be offended...
So....... today is the first day of the 5 small meals... I will let you know how it goes... to do this you sure need to plan ahead.
On a good note I did see the scales move "a chunk" while the girls were home... EVEN in the midst of all that cooking! that was refreshing since I seem to lose slowly and NEVER have lost weight over the holidays!
