WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

Hey ok now where all of you? For Wednesday I usually have a big amount of you replying to the post...yahoooooooo anyone out there?

So far today(Wednesday) we have had a great day, shopping went to Rue 21 found lots of really great sales....i got two huge bags full of sweaters and shirts and a new pair of boots all for 30 dollars. Got the boots for 10.00 wow and they are just what I need for riding  the bike in the cold. My cute leather boots get my toes so so cold..mainly because I cant wear warm socks with them.  The boots I got are suede with fur lining. And big enough to be able to wear warm boot socks with them...so my tooties ought to be nice and warm...but will probably be changing out of them after half a day of riding down here.

 

Today started out at 24 degrees here this morning but at 3pm it is now up to65  beautiful in the sun to just sit and let it beat  on you....

 

Tried calling the grandsons and didn’t get an answer the first two times...got them third time but one wasn’t going to be home this afternoon and other wouldn’t be home tonight...so we are seeing about seeing them Sat as we leave out of town ....and then maybe see them again when we come back thru in a couple of weeks...

 

My brother in law is doing fajitas for supper tonight. He is a great cook....today went to  a grocery store to get some protein bars and they have this cooking area right in the store that they serve up samples of stuff daily well I had a good lunch  lol a small piece of steak, a shrimp and a small cup of tortilla soup....just enough for me for a meal.....i said wow if I were here I would go in there every day for lunch lol ...plus get a new idea for something for Joe for supper ...

 

Well the temp is going down since the sun is sinking low....suppose to get pretty cold here for the next two days and then on Saturday is suppose to be warm again. .and we will be heading west toward San Antonio.....should be a good day of riding. 

We will see anyway.

 

 

 

 

SUSAN:::::: thanks so very much for all you all are doing for us while we are gone....did you all get the boards bought that you wanted for the living room? Or was today doctor day?

Lol you are kidding I got Joe to go to the Zumba class? Yeah im sure....about like you could Andy to do that too. lol

BARB  S:::::: you are still having trouble with being dizzy? I would think you would be done with that....what does your doctor say about it? Will keep you and Baby in prayers.

 

 

VESTA:::::: hey you ought to try one of those classes. Fun once you can get the bones moving again. lol

 

 

 

SUSIE::::::: you were wanting snow yesterday and today warmth? Silly girl...

Lol had to laugh about your Wii sighing when you stepped on it. Keep on you will get better with every pound lost.

 

 

 

 

JANET:::::: keep me informed about your new test and all ok...keep doing all that your doctor told you to do.   Your body isn’t processing the vits and protein enough for your bones so keep pushing on.

Sounds like you had a really hard day yesterday but glad you found our what was wrong. It wasn’t a good thing but at least you now know for sure.

I wish I hadn’t been correct with my diagnosis but better to know than to not know at least that is me. 

On the other questions you ask  white blood cells do diagnosis some of the things you mentioned but remember here while back I was having that problem and it turned out to be nothing...we think now it was the difference in labs and the way they processed their tests  so they said to wait 3 months and have them run again at two labs on the same day...lol

Don’t know what the knots are but I have a lot of them all over me....they say fatty tumors. Nothing to worry about. Sure feel weird tho don’t they?

 

Keep your eyes on Jesus, he cares and loves you as much as all your friends , even more. Keep thinking of all your blessing. Think of what great family you have.

When the Devil comes at you just start saying the name of Jesus over and over, the devil flees at the name...

Love you sweet heart and do as your doctor says and hopefully some of the pain can be fixed soon.

Hey Jan;

Glad to hear you are having a good time. If you keep finding sales, remember the post office, that is what I did when I was in Florida last year, shipped things home and they were there when I got home. Really nice, no worries.

I have an appointment with a neurologist next month. My PCP wanted to give it a few more weeks then if it wasn't gone, I was to see the new Dr. It is getting less and less, like yesterday none but the day before it was like 6 times. I am keeping track of what I am doing, like if I am sitting, or bending over and which way I am turning my head or not. Thought this might help narrow it down for them.

Baby should get her cast off tomorrow morning. She has an 8am appointment. They have to put her out, she will either get it off or a new one if it isn't healed enough. Please pray she gets it off. She is doing so much better with the meds for the urinary tract infection.

I have you all in my prayers.

Here is what Abby my nut said about protein. when i asked her about it awhile back.

As far as protein, I would keep your intake to 65 to 80 grams of protein per day (too much can be harmful to the kidneys).

My original back pain is from a car wreck in 1973 (not my fault that time LOL)

They said I had pulled all the muscles around my spine like overstretching a piece of elasti****il all the little rubber strips break and then it won't stretch and go back anymore. Does that make since?

Anyway, I have had back pain ever since and now since the wreck in December I have new back pain. Oh fun! 

I also like to talk to people with back pain (sounds sick doesn't LOL) It is so hard to understand someones pain unless you have been there!!!

Good Morning Jan and OH Peeps-

Hi everyone! I pray your all safe and warm! Its so very very cold out and we have windchill warnings and Im actually surprised that our school didnt cancel yet-because the weather channels were all telling us NOT to let our kids wait for the bus without being in shelter etc....well-out in the country-there are times that bus runs 20 minutes later-specially if they have a sub like they have had the past 2 days.  Grandma (lives at the end of the driveway) has Darrel in her house since right outside her front door basically is where the bus stop is. So-he is safe and warm...till he gets on the scary bus anyway....We arent even having him walk down the driveway-since its like a quarter mile long.....the wind is just bone chilling right now!

I have a couple of prayer requests on my heart right now. Tammy is traveling right now to her appt in Columbia. Please pray for travelers mercy for her and for good results today at her dr appt. She has just been going through so much with her mom and grandma in the hospital at the same time, both with serious health problems and Tammys new van broke down--so she doesnt even have that right now.  She was going to stay overnite in Columbia and possibly meet Renee and I tomorrow when Renee has her 3 month check up-but she cant because she isnt driving now and didnt have the funds to stay at a motel on top of not being away from family that long.  Anyway-I have text her and am waiting for an answer me so I could check on her.

Also, please pray for my adopted daughter-Amanda-they induced her at 5 am.  We know she is having a girl-and she is the one who just had Clayton the beginning of 07' and they had to do that blood transfusion and they were so sick with that RH factor or whatever it was.....so please pray that Amanda and baby girl, that they are naming Khloe Marie....that they will be okay. Thank you. 

Ok, then finally-I am asking for some extra prayers for Renee, please. I know she had told you that social security had messed up on Tiffanys social security-because she turned 18-BUT....she is STILL a full time student-so they updated and approved her to get her dads ss until she graduates-well, for 3 months now, Renee and Tiff have been living just off of Renees disability, which is NOT very much. Its right around $600 a month, which we all know doesnt go very far when you have bills. Last month, they told her that within 30 days she would have it-well, its now going on closer to 40 and they still have no news. They keep saying they are back logged and yadi yadi......anyway-I know she will be fine-because she is a real fighter, but I hate seeing her struggle so. Thank you.

Lets see... Anything new here...I know I posted yesterday, but I feel disconnected because I havent been able to get on much, or do as much posting as I would like. 

Megan has been having braxton hicks on and off the past week or so-and although I know it makes her uncomfortable, it makes me even more excited! I simply cant wait.......Yesterday, they sent me a picture of this dress that was simply the most beautiful little pink ruffly dress I think I have ever seen! I am already planning on where I am going to take her to have the pictures taken-LOL!
I should have listed it above in my prayer requests-but one more.. (I know, I know....) the kids have been staying with Aarons parents trying to save their money for a place-they are hoping that they will be in their own place next week, and I would appreciate any prayers for Megan and Aaron, that they can get into their own place and settled in, before our little gal makes her appearance.  This is probably making me as nervous as it is them. I want them to be all settled and such before she gets here.  Aarons job is going to be over March 7th. Lowes has deleted ALL team leader positions in their re-construction of things and so IF they cannot find another place for him-he wont have a job then. He has been with them, in management now, for 2 yrs almost, so we are hoping that it will help keep him in there somewhere!

***I have gotten so many calls and such while I have been trying to get this post done...I have already been on this for 2 hrs-LOL. Anyway....Baby Khloe is here! Born at 9:15, weighing in at 8 lbs 5 oz and mom and baby are doing great!!!! Yay Yay Yay!!!! 

ok, its now 2 hrs later again...I better take the hint and just get this posted! I have several more calls I have to make and then I have to groom my pup.

**jan-I WILL do what the doc tells me. I didnt get time to research much yesterday-so IF all goes well today, I plan on it. So far its not looking so hot.  Would have done it yesterday evening, but one of our friends got stuck in Dallas working and his fiance' didnt have ANY wood and thats there only source of heat-so we took over a load of our wood last night.  By the time that we got home, I just had enough time to make dinner and get the boys ready for bed.

Ive never been to a Rue 21. Its it like Peir 1 or all clothing?  Sounds like you got some awesome buys! I LOVE a bargain.

Thanks for the answers about the tests. I just couldnt remember. So far the new meds seem like they are helping, however, I have had a headache for a whole 30 hours straight. It JUST went away about an hour or so ago-but I went ahead and took an ibuprofen. I just couldnt handle it anymore. I went ahead and took 2 prilosec at the same time....so will see.

I do have a sense of satisfaction that I know what I am dealing with AND the fact that I know now-that I wasnt just being a big old whiney baby-she said one issue alone makes people crazy with pain and depression, so she said that considering I have 5 different issues that are crippling all on their own, that she was amazed I have done as well as I have.  She did say that I am very suseptible (sp?) for breakage in my bones and so I need to be extra careful (I informed her that I am pretty clumsy-LOL). I think one thing that truly bothers me is that when Mackenzie gets a little bigger-I will not be able to just bend over and pick her up and that bothers me on so many levels.  Just like every other  disability tho, I am sure I will learn how to deal with it and we will figure out other things. I know.

**Sugar-On the protein, no-I didnt know that about the liver-I knew the tylenol and the pain meds can do damage-but I did not know that protein could. I WILL get in there and research. I get anywhere from 40-60 g per day.

I will email you and go over the details. Im sure if I get in there and I feel uncomfortable about doing what she wants or needs-she will research it-she is that kind of doctor and she wouldnt want me to get worse, you know?  I really figured that since some get around 80-90 g according to THEIR bariatric doctor, then I just figured it would be okay!

Im sorry your still having issues. Is your back pain due to a surgery? Not trying to be too nosey, but I try and talk to everyone I know has back issues and what they have done and if they would do it again and so on and so forth. Did your accident cause it to come back OR ????

Im fine, just kinda in the winter time funk...but getting better since I can go exercise daily again. Ive got muscles that are sore again from doing stuff and they are being cranky.

Ember is staying a couple of nights with me and she is excited about that. We may go exercise in the morning together. Then probably go shopping and have a girls day out. Im looking forward to it. She is such a sweet girl. She told her brothers and sister that if they could go all week and act and do like her (no complaining or fighting or ruff-housing and cleaning their room and picking up after themselves) she would pay them each $5. But she said, "Fat chance of that happening!" lol She said that their household would be so much nicer if they would all just be like her...lol! Truer  words were never spoken...lol

Well, Im off in a bit to go to the pool.

Oh by the way sis, Im starting a new project of the fish room. Painting and papering and fixing it into the "Fishing Lodge"....it should be really cute and comfy when I get it done. I ordered the paper yesterday and will get the paint today so I can start on that. Im bringing my old bedroom set back in and so you will have a full size bed to sleep on the next time your here. lol

Good morning to all hope everyone is staying warm at the moment it is 14 degress here with a wind chill of 2.we are under a wind chill warning.supposed to be colder on friday morning.this weather sure is crazy.it is going to be back in the 50's next week wi**** would stay that way all the time.

we did not get the board's yet andy wanted to do some more thing's around here before the weather people do come out.we hope it is soon.
i have a doctor's app on friday morning  in branson i have to be there by 800am.if i am not fully awake by then i know the cold air will wake me up for sure.lol.
rebel is doing good.andy and i are spoiling him some more.lol.

susie your school's are not the only one's closed i talked to my brother last night and the school where my sister-in-law is a teacher is closed today because of the cold.they live in ironton,mo.about 100 miles from st louis.she  is a 4 grade teacher at bellview school.it is about half a hour form where they live.

barbara it was soo good to see you on the board again.we are praying that you get rid of those dissy spell's.glad too hear baby is doing better.we know she would love for the vet's to leave the cast off her leg.please let us know how she did when you can.

renee sound's like larry is a great guy.you both have a big heart.

Well Miss Jan, I am officially super jealous...warm sun AND shopping!!  Curses!  I love to shop, especially when the bargains can't be beat.  When we go to Washington to see Shelb, we get to shop a lot and we do as Barb suggested, we either mail or UPS the items back.  Nice to not to have to lug it around.  And Washington's antique stores are chepaer than here for some reason.  At least the stuff I like is cheaper, so I get to shop and shop and shop. 

Today should be quiet.  Hubby's home again and I really need to run errands but it is sooooo cold.  Why oh why do I wait until it's blistering cold to decide I need to get out?  Probably because I put it off until I HAVE to get it done.  We'll see. 

Barb....I hope Baby gets her cast off...I know she's been so cute running with it on.  I wonder how she'll act when it comes off?  And I am concerned about your dizziness, too.  Glad you're keeping track of the actions, the neurologist will definitely need to see that.  Keep us posted.

Sugar...I agree about the funk.  I am really struggling this year.  I think the "global warming" has a lot to do with that.  :-)

Wholly crap batman it is cold outside. neg 4 with neg 18 windchill.My poor aching back.Nope wrong word i am in PAIN. I know this weather has gpot to be really taking its toll on everyone especially Janet. Sweetie you are in my prayers and heres a big Pooh Hug,{{{{{{{{Janet}}}}}}}}}.
I heard them talking at Walmart pharmacy yesterday when i was getting pain pills refilled ,That by Thursday it is suppose to be 75.I think they been tapping into the happy drugs there LOL.I won't believe it till it happens. But i'm from Mo so ya gotta show me LOL.
Baby has jaudice a level 12 so they are concerned about that, But i know he will be fine.I think most babies have a lil jaundice after they are born, It is just that his level is high.

Jan- Hope yur haveing a great time on your trip.And all that shopping has gotta be fun. I love shopping,But I like junk stores and even junk ditches. I have found some pretty cool stuff in the ditches where people throw stuff away.
I'm a pack rat LOL.

Barb- I hope your dizzy spells go away soon. Hope baby gets over her infection too.

Janet - Ditto to you. Hope youare not hurting like mad today but i am sure you are because i am hurting like crazy.Took pain pill and it isn't even beginning to touch it.I have vicodine, percocet, and dilaudid, But took vicodine, The other two make me nauseated so don't take them often.
