Watching the news tonight made me realize most of you in the south and the bootheel got hammered.  I sure hope you all are ok and able to keep warm.  We are good, just a half inch...not bad, just cold.

Outta bed....coffee

Sorta lunch....tortilla pizza w/turkey pepperoni, provolone and mozzarella, sf pudding

Snacks....protein bar, handful of chips and noshed on an orange thru the afternoon

Dinner....1 egg omelet, bacon and a few fried potatoes

That should do it, wait, I fixed low sugar fruit crisps for later.  Hardly any sugar and just a little butter w/the fruit and oatmeal.  Wanted something comforting.

Water is great and vits are right on track.  If anybody is out there, talk to me.  If you are all trying to keep warm, no problem.  Take care!

Love and hugs

I am so thankful I don't drink coffee this late at night....poor parrot! LOL

Ain't head hunger the WORST?  s/f hot chocolate should help the craving....hope it warms you a little, too.  I think all our butts hurt and not from waddling....cause we're losing hiney padding!  I hate that.

I, too, am ready for spring.

Love you kiddo!

By the way....I just used brown sugar splenda and a lot less of it for the sugar in the filling.  Then I used a packet of flavored instant oatmeal and cut in some butter to make the topping.  Since it's just the two of us I only used one apple and one pear and split it between two dishes.  It was really too much for me but he loved it.  Not a real recipe, just me playing around.  Sorry

I am lovin the snow , it finally is snowing instead of ice but it got dark and I can't see it. I have been couped up all day with DH and the head hunger is kicking  in. I keep thinking about what I can eat and lordy the pork rinds keep coming to mind. They scare me to death. I am really fighting the urge right now. Wish me luck or I will be sick tomorrow.

STEP AWAY FROM THOSE RINDS!!!!  Remember how yucky you felt?  Don't do it!  And if you do, only eat one or two then back away slowly.  I know how you feel, they start calling your name, don't they?

Just kidding....you'll know what to do. Enjoy the snow tomorrow, I won't!

Love ya...

Bev....

Thank you so much for your honesty!  I know you have been thru alot recently (can't wait to read about it, when you're ready) and it means so much that you reach out to others when you are going thru so much.

And what a great day!  I love to see how this is working.  I, too, enjoyed the cereal and NSA yogurt but never thought about adding protein powder.  I have always preached that not eating enough would cause weight loss to stall...and am finding that there is a balance.  We just have to figure out where the balance is for each of us.

Thanks again for posting and have a great day.  Stay warm!

Hello everyone....what a day...whew...Im colder than a well diggers ass on a hot day...lol.
I have been down a little today....I have read and reread everyones post about my eatting....so today I thought "start over and do think about weather its going to make you sick or does it have to many cal's or sugar....your going to be fine......Yea right....lol
So here it goes:
Breakfast~~ water....just cant do the breakfast thing yet...
Snack~~ Yep....cheese
Lunch~~ had to cook for a client...so I did it healthy....
Pork chop w/mushroom gravy, roasted potatoes and green
beans.  I ate about three small bites of pork chop and a bite
potatoes, and a tablespoon of green bean.....good for her and
me. everything stayed down. pouch felt like a rock hit it but at
least I ate some protein!! ya
Snack~~ about 4 cubes of cheese....
Dinner~~ about a 1/4c of turkey chile....
went to bingo and they had free Veg soup....got some and drank the broth and ate the carrots.....and had about 5 cubes of cheese....
Ok so that was a little better....still didnt get all the protein in..but better than the past few weeks have been.

Water all in and Vits on track....one more set to go before bed.....

That's my girl....glad to see you are working on these things.  Way to go to understand there is a balance and be determined to get there.  And you had so much more protein than usual!  Now your pouch may try to convince you that you're killing it and may rebel for a day or so.  Just don't give up and gently keep adding a little more.  I know when mine gets cranky I just can't eat for a day or so.  But that's ok....I just never let him win.

Are you allowed milk yet?  The only way I can drink protein is w/lo carb milk and even then it has to be chocolate.  I can't stand fruit protein or protein mixed w/water.  Blech.  So if you can drink milk (and like it, some don't) try and find Hood Carb Countdown (beware...it's expensive!).  It's the only way I can stomach protein.

I am so proud of you....you worked so hard for this and you are determined to make it work (and it is...skinny butt!).  And now you are determined to do it the healthy way.  Way to go!

Love and hugs...
