WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY
Well we will be leaving Deming N. M. in a little while. Got to get Joe up soon and go eat breakfast and come back and put on a multitude of clothes. Even tho the temps all across where we are going to be riding will be 60 to 65 it doesn’t feel like it on the bike...when you are going 75 down the highway it gets a lot colder...i don’t know what that would be in wind chill factor...like 10 degrees ??? that is about what it feels like...i know when we get off the bike everyone looks at us like we are nuts all wrapped up in this beautiful weather. ? they just don’t know how miserable it can get on there. Lol I really don’t think we will be taking any more long distance riding on the motorcycle trips on the bike in the winter. I didn’t think it would be as miserable as it has been. But it hasn’t been pleasant on it except for a couple of days in

Know you will be glad to get back home... I sure do know what you mean about being soooooo cold... I may not have to gripe about the heat this summer ... I'm like so many others of being cold... Paul was telling me that our local rural electric is predicting a "TRIPLE" increase in the next 10 years...
WE WILL BE GETTING A WOOD FURNACE if that's the case... our electric was $250 this month and we kept the thermo on 65 for pete sake! Too cold but better than a HUGE bill. Paul wants to put a wood stove in the dining room but I don't want all that mess tracked thru the house.... may have to give in if something doesn't change ~ha
Well... going to piddle around with Paul a few days here and see what I can get myself into... Paul has this idea to make a tamper to pack down the dirt around some pipes... I could tell the wheels in his head have been turning the past few days to fix a problem he has outside... usually when he is thinking like that he comes up with some pretty "unusual stuff" but it usually works too... like when he made that wagon with the cement mixer on it... that thing as been GREAT! Ugly Ugly but very serviceable! ~ha That invention would put us right in line with the neighbors "redneck hot tub"! ~tee hee
Well better get in there and get Paul up and make him some breakfast... I can already tell the sun is going to shine brilliantly today.. still don't think he will walk with me today... it was just down right cold yesterday but only my face was REAL cold... I know the wind chill was near 0. I don't think it is to be much better today either but.... tomorrow is going to be like a heat wave compared to the past two days... such funny temps this year!
The horses will still be glad to see me... they have been loving the carrots.... and they are sticking around just to get their ears scratched too... I guess they are getting use to my voice.... I blow lightly into there nostrils and I think that has helped them to know me too. Most of them will come right away when I call now or just come when they see me coming down the road... I guess if someone always had treat for me I would keep coming back again an again too! ~tee hee
Have a good and blessed day... keep as warm and safe as you can.
