Stuffed peppers

Hi ,I need help.LOL,Gail wants stuffed peppers tonight.I have never made them and i looked on allrecipes.com and all those call for rice. Anyone know how i can make them without rice and can i use spagetti sauce instead of tomato paste or tomato soup.?

I can't stand the things....but, my mom always made them and just used her meatloaf in the centers. Hope you do ok....I know I wouldn't eat 'em!

Deb like Vesta I use cracker crumbs in mine instead of rice, I pretty much make the meat like meatloaf and use sketti sauce, always tastes good to me.

Thank You for the ideas for the peppers.But i am with Peggy I can't stand em LOL.I used to Love raw peppers but the ones i baked last night tasted bitter.Does baking them make them yucky?LOL Now I know why i have never fixed them. They are just plain NASTY LOL.
