WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY AGAIN

 

 

We now have our cyber neice for all of us to ohh and ahh over. . we are waiting for pictures so we can all see that little one too. just saw the first of many im sure and yes she is beautiful....

 

Not going to lawn and garden show today will go tomorrow instead. Have the great grandbabies today while mom and dad move them into a duplex in Monet I think...He got a good job in Mt Vernon at some plant over there making really good money...but is so far for him to drive back and forth and taking so long. Hate for them to move way over there but I guess when we go see them I can see Janet too lol...

 

Hey it is Saturday again lol.....wasnt a Senior moment I just wanted two Saturdays this  week....   just checked the weather for Tucson 80  all week...oh my gosh ...Andy was that out of Springfield on that 99.00  flight to AZ ...lol ...

No now that I am home will have to stay now...oh I have Yellow squash coming up and looks like the acorn squash wont be far behind...will be having to transfer the squash to other containers as they once up grow fast and wont be able to stay in those  incubators . Joe and I worked all day long today in the yard again....got a huge limb on the maple tree that I have wanted cut off finally done...cut up and small limbs to burn pile , nothing would burn the maples were just dripping sap....

 

I just made an apple pie well not cooked it yet...know that if I cook it Joe will be standing in here waiting for it to come out of the over. Lol; have it all ready to cook , will do that in the morning. ..

 

I am trying something , our elect   is so high, I am going to do all my dishes by hand for a month and see if it does anything to the light bill. If it does I will just wash dishes by hand...im tired of giving the elect company 300 dollars a month...may give up the dryer next.. lol . if I had a clothes line I surely would. And only use it rarely to remove wrinkles and for things like jeans....

 

 

 

ANDY;;;;;did you get all your trim put up around the windows? I know that is really going to look good....

How is your tooth feeling? I know that can cause a lot of pain.....the dentist there in Forsyth although isn’t cheap is about the same price as the cheapest one I know of.

Is it a wisdom tooth? Will cost you about 100 dollars I guess to have it pulled out.

That sure was silly about the psychologist /social worker wasn’t it? anyway good that she has it done right now...

 

 

BEC:::::: hopefully you can get down to see me this spring or summer....come and stay overnight ...you can go down to the lake and fish if you want. Lol

Yes March does sound like spring even if some of our coldest weather is in March lol

I have two pair of the biker shorts that I got at Hanes outlet  but I think you can find them at almost any sporting goods store...they are really neat to work outside in too. they keep all the junk from wiggling all over. Lol

 

 

SUSIE::::::: hey maybe you need to hire me and my daughter , we are great at de clutterinjg ...really we worked for this one lady and did her whole house. You  should have seen it before and afterwards. We had her a huge garage sale and made her more than enough to pay us ....so she got a good clean house and for free and got rid of so much stuff that she didn’t need. ....best way to do it is to get 3 big boxes  Keep, throw away and either give away or sell.  Then do one section a day.. if you are doing it yourself. .

Sorry it really didn’t work me just saying it was Saturday didn’t help huh?

PEGGY:::: oh Peggy I would just love for you to come see me..that would be fantastic if you could get some others to come with you....Hopefully we will have the guest house more done buy then. We are going to start on it more next week....we have a queen size bed in there and two twin beds and we also have an air mattress so we can accomadate 5 to 6 at a time ....that would be fun wouldn’t it? then we could go to Branson Landing the next day or something.  I see that Barb is good to go on the trip down to see us this spring....yeah....thats two

I am having withdrawls not getting to go camping this year at Norfork or "Bullcholls" Misspelled..lol
they have closed the 11 park grounds for 2009, and we had reservations, they called and reinbursed us..I guess the ice storm finished up what the water didnt do last year, I was so looking forward to that..
Are we having a reunion this year?
My seeds are coming up good, so guess I did them right, I have a grow light on them, and keep the temp around 70 and watered.
Janet is beeming, I love it, she loves that baby so much, and it sure is a beautiful baby....

Good Morning Mimi ~

I want to come for the tulip festival! ~tee hee and then again for the iris festival! ~love both those flowers ... it's a sad shame that they only bloom for such a short time!  Just ain't right! 

I didn't think about the Hanes store for the shorts... I will have to look when I'm in a city big enough to have a sporting goods store! ~tee hee

Well I did something yesterday afternoon that I have not done in at least 20+ years and I crashed right out there at the highway!  Fell right over!  I'm soooooo glad that no one came by to see it!  I rode a regular bike around the block just two wheels instead of three...boy if you hadn't of known it you would of thought I was plastered!  Wobbled all over the road for a time... I was finally getting my legs by the time the four miles was over... Let me tell you my friend without being too graphic that seat was simply WRONG!!!  If I was to ride much it would have to go!!! and a bigger one installed!!!  But beside feeling like I've ridden a horse for three days it was very neat to be able to do something I NEVER would of been able to do before surgery.  And I'm sure I would of never gotten on it had I seen myself from the back end!

I could not find the Dr. Shull's jellin's but did find a thick "memory foam" insole to put in my shoes to see if that will help. I did find other off brand jell-ins but they were so thin... sure not worth the money.  Paul is going to get me a pair when he orders his work boots.... they are industrial ones he can order from work.

Paul and I rented Fireproof last night... boy was that about the best Christian Film I've seen in a long time... I am going to buy that one for sure!

I'm so thrilled that Miss Mackenzie is finally here and looking fit!  Know her grandma and the rest of her family is over joyed!

Ok have to get off here and get busy I have a whole house to dust and two bathrooms to clean today.  It's nearly time to get on out there and get my daily trec out of the way as well.

Well I planned to sleep in since it is finally Saturday ,but oh no, DH was hammering in the basement at 5:50 this morning. I could choke him. He was building my bookcase I bought yesterday. He could have waited.
Its snowing at my house this morning, already got a good dusting. Its little tiny flakes though so not pretty to watch fall.
Still have lots of organizing to do in the new room. I could go out of town for a week and my house would be clutter free when I came home but then I would have to divorce him. I cannot leave him here alone or he will throw everything out. Its a constant battle here. I know I need to do it myself I just cannot seem to. I keep hoping when I get skinny I will need to lighten my load at home. Time will tell I guess. I sometimes wonder if I lived thru the depression in a previous life or something like that because I keep so much stuff. I do not believe in reincarnation  so it must be something else.Peggy has got me thinking about what my kids would have to go thru cleaning out my house. Maybe I will be able to do it this time.

Those two movies were advertised before the Fireproof movie played ... I'll have to see if I can rent those as well. That Kirk Cameron sure has done a good work with his life!

Hope you get all the organizing done you want too.  I have a 10 x 30 room above my garage where I keep most of my supplies and extra stuff... but always seems I am having to straighten it up up there... and always carrying something up and down with the seasons or when I'm working on a craft project... It's so neat you will have a place to put your things now.

Would of loved to come to your card party next Saturday, Marilyn called me and asked if I wanted to ride down with her, but just didn't work out this time. I know you will have a simply wonderful time though...

What a gorgeous day it turned out to be yesterday, the temp got higher then they had thought it was gonna get, wish we could have that kind of weather all the time, maybe a bit warmer but thats it lol.  Went for my walk and it was so nice,  ended up all the way down to the lake by the water, i usually cut off into the park but was lookin for a way to go further so went all the way down there and hiked on a trail for a bit them came back and hiked up into the park, my legs got wobbly  lol but was nice.

Jan I got 4 windows done lol I'll do the rest today since its gonna be yucky out.  The are looking nice, once they are all done and touched up they will really good and then get some curtains up, its all starting to come together.

Bec you silly girl, hope you didnt hurt yourself.  I havnt rode a bike in years, I can see myself on a bike riding around here going down a hill and trying to stop lol i'd end up in the lake LoL  One day tho, one day i'll get brave enough to get a bike, would be really good exersise i know.

My goodness I just looked outside, its snowing! Almost 65 yesterday and snowing today, wish the weather would make its mind up lol.

Tee Hee Andy... I guess I didn't say the outcome of my little escapade... mostly all that got hurt was my pride and let me tell you it would of been WAY worse if anyone had of come by!!!!  But as it was I just got a few scrapes on my hands, arm, and leg... nothing serious for sure...

I usually ride my 3 wheel bike when we have ridden before... I had to get a laugh out of the neighbor man that came by... he rolled down the window and asked where my training wheels where! Too funny! I really like riding the 3 wheel better you don't have to be as careful... but it is much harder to peddle and slower to ride than a regular bike.  Any way I traded my "training wheels" for at least that one day! 

Too funny about ending up in the lake... I can sure relate to this scenario! ~ha

Ok Miss Jan....start making plans.  I AM making plans to come see you...and I think I might drag a friend or two with me.  So, before I get too far, I guess I should ask if it's ok to come down for a day or two?  And when is going to be a good time to visit?  I really want to see your place in bloom.  Since I invited myself, I thought would ask if it's actually ok to come!  Let's party!

Oh, Susie....I don't want you to think about your stuff just because of what I'm going thru!  There is NO WAY you have near the crap this woman had.   We have an agreement....I leave his garage alone and he doesn't worry about my stuff.  I tend to be more of the one who wants to get rid of everything, tho.  So as soon as her sale is done, my basement is getting done!  I've had enough.  I'm sorry he's fussing at you, tho.  That makes things difficult....I had a military dad so I sort of understand.  They have a different mindset.

Bec I just laughed out loud at your bike story!  I have an idea that I would have crashed and burned the whole way!  And the neighbor's comment was priceless!

We danced our feet off last night and are plenty sore this morning.  It was our last class for a few weeks but we are thinking about signing up for the intermediate class.  We have a group going to the ballroom next Friday and then our new classes should start the week after.  We'll see.  He's wanting to teach us more moves and if we do an intermediate class he won't have to keep starting over with the basics.  I would like to re-take the Foxtrot and Waltz since we only took it once and I don't really remember a lot of the steps.

So I need to do my Bible reading and get ready to go to the blasted farm.  I just know that the possum mob is waiting to whack me since we off'd George.  I'll send the hubby in first to check the place.  I'm already wigging out!  Yuck.

By the way, isn't Mackenzie just gorgeous!

i am glad to have my head doctor's app over with.andy and i have to be in springfield by 200pm on monday to pick up my report.while waiting for the group meeting to start we are going to the wig shop to look at some more hair piece's.the shop where brenda mink's went to is only a few block's from the doctor's office.only 3 more day's till we go to columbia.you all hear shouting down here it is me.lol.i will let you all know what the doctor's had to say soon as we get home.
