Let's talk secret pal!!!

First off I'm so sorry to my pal I feel like I wasn't a very good one.  I think one reason it's kinda hard for us is that we really don't know some of the people in the exchange.  This is just my personal opinion but I think we should do secret pals with the support groups that we're in.  We get to know each other in those and we know what each other likes and dislikes.  That's just my opinion.  Let's hear some thoughts on that.  Also we have bring things to support group meetings to our pal and have someone else give it to them.  Saves on postage and makes it kinda fun on trying to figuer out who your pal is. 

Or do we even want to keep doing this?

To be honest I was not a good secret pal. I decided I would not play again.  I have a 1,000 reasons but  none of them really matter.  I do agree with you its hard to send something or be cheery with someone you have never meet. It sounds like a lot of people had some problems with this exchange. I do think it would be better to have it in out own groups. If we had a set time to exchange gifts maybe at a support meeting it would make things easier for people. So yes Angie I think you have a good idea.

Hiya

I only have a second, as I am at my sisters and have to get back to Mom. I tried both times to be a good pal had a LOTTA plans I just didn't have time to do, however I did do something. I heard from my first pal twice and not at all this time not even once. I am not sure I will be doing it again as I feel i couldve done better myself if my life were less insane. I agree its a great way to get to know each other IF people will actually join in, I didn't do this either time to get things but it would've been nice a few times in the rocky days of the last couple months, support is important we all need it=( I know I have not been a great source of support for you all of late I just have had NO time at all and it is hard for me to post when I am down i don't wanna feel like I am whining or bringing others down with me. I know you all are great and will say that is why we come here but I have a hard time with that, I guess I still hear my mom say don't say anything Jeanine if you cant say something nice haha!!
Anyway if things calm down I may try one more time I dunno for sure!!
