WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY

If it doesn’t quit raining and let us get the plants in the ground we will just have to plant them in big pots and harvest them guess we could plant 2 or 3 cabbage plant and so on in those big mineral tubs. Lol

We do have red leaf lettuce coming up in the garden if it doesn’t get drowned lol don’t think it will it is pretty good about draining , sort of on a raised area. So it doesn’t sit in water even after a hard rain.  Hey do any of you know the old sayings about what you plant and when. Like when the moon is rising or when it is waneing?  Isnt it plant root crops when the moon is rising ? I don’t have a farmers almanac...

Joe and Andy were going to get the rest of the fence up , around the garden today and it started raining but did find out that we didn’t have enough fencing...so since it was raining we went to home depot to get more fencing. Maybe we will be able to get the plants put in the ground and the chicken wire up around the bottom to keep the rabbits out....we will see what tomorrow brings.....

Susan brought me over four of the biggest , prettiest sweet potatoes this morning ....i told her those were big enough for Joe and I to bake one of those and share it...that is what we do with big ones like that ...i take enough to make about a cup of sweet potato and he eats the rest. Lol we still do that .

PEGGY:::::: thanks for the info on the soufflé recipe, I have trouble eating a whole one of the little cups , I have found that you can microwave then for  like less than a minute and it takes the cold off of them and they don’t get rubbery... so if I half the recipe

Then I can put just half the amount in the cups and I might be able to eat that at one time....

I know you will decide what is bestfor you and your health, just don’t do nothing because it will not go away , ok? We will all be praying for you .

Well I better get this posted....i fell asleep last night at the end of survivor and just woke up....good grief I wonder if im sick lol

Good morning to all.hope everyone made it through the storm's ok.we had hail and thunder lighting and heavy rain.we are now getting some sprinkle's again.we sure are ready for it to stop.andy and i are ready to help with the garden.pretty soon our plant's will be big enough to eat like they are now.lol.

i had a good report from the doctor yesterday.my lab's are looking a whole lot better.i am still off of my blood sugar med's and insulin.the rest of my med's i should be off of by july she said.i would just be taking vit's after that.yheeeee.


my weight loss is going great.i now weigh 254.i was 290 when i started all this on march the 3.i am only 9 pound's away from what i was when andy and i got married.i have never lost that much before ever.andy is only 28 pound's from being under 300.the whole world will hear him when he is.lol.i found some picture's of us last night he want's to try and put them on his profile.he is half the man he once was.

jan glad you liked the sweet potatoes.we love them also.we just could not pass them up at only 30 cent's a pound at walmart.they looked really good and they all were big.

lou glad to hear your app in columbia went well for you.you sure are looking good.looking foward to seeing you at the meeting this month with your mom.

bec how are you doing today.thank's for saying how good my picture's looked.it take's someone else to say how much you look different.we cannot alway's see it for our self.
