WHATS HAPPENING EASTER SUNDAY

Yippee the fence is done  most of the garden is in....i think we need a garden about twice as big lol we arnt going to have nearly enough room I don’t think....especially if we put in  things like squash and other things that run ....dont know, but can put some of it in  some of the mineral tubs.  I wonder if I put things like the squash and plants that run in the tubs will the rabbits get to them or will I have to fence them in to. Or if I can put them up on some sort of trellis that would take care of it wouldn’t it....  let me  think about this some.

Wasn’t it  beautiful out side Saturday? I couldn’t believe it was so pretty...the only thing was that I got so involved in working in the garden that I forgot to drink enough water...and about 2pm I started getting dehydrated . or I guess that is what it was....dizzy, nauseated, and slight headache...took a break and drank 32 oz water lol  started feeling better anyway...i guess we can all be pretty stupid sometimes lol I normally don’t do that but got involved and forgot to drink....made me think a lot about the summer coming up and all the outside things that will be going on....Please we all need to remember that we do dehydrate a lot faster than most people so keep water handy and drink lots this summer. The more you do outside the more you will need to drink... that is in addition to the normal amount of water you normally drink.. so take care of yourself this summer.

Well looks like we will be getting a little wet this afternoon. It will do away with some   of the outside fun.

Remember the real reason that we have Easter... HE IS RISEN....

SUSAN:::::: well we got that fence in and the plants planted didn’t we>? Well you did a great job of supervision lol  but don’t worry you will get your chance as soon as the doctors release you to work lol ....

SUSIE:::::: yes I think it is about the right time to plant the elephant ears. And it really doesn’t matter sun or shade...they like a little bit of everyhthing...oh didn’t you just love the flowers all over Hawwii? So pretty.

LOU:::::  you sound so happy and almost giddy ....hope your life is going as well as you sound...and you look great too. lol cant wait to see you at the meeting.

COR::: I use to be one of those managers of an assisted living facilites for the elderly. I loved that job...that is what I was doing when Joe had his horrible wreck and then had to quit because I couldn’t take care of him and them too. Even tho it was a small facility..only 12 residents. Like I said I loved doing that....

Hope you are feeling better and would love to see you again. I bet we wouldn’t know you.

Happy Easter Everyone!!!

Finally talked with Stephanie and she is doing ok.  Jamie was already asleep so could not talk to him.  Will call Daniel and talk to him before church this am.

Have all my seedlings on tables in the garage so all I have to do is raise the back garage door for them to get the am sun then in the evening we can close it to get them hardened off.  We are still having nights in the 30's
so its to early to leave them out in the cold.  Looks like I have lost all the cabbage except about 20 seedlings so will have to replace them with plants.  Have onions, radishes and lettuce in the old herb garden off the patio and want to get some spinach and candy or sweet onions planted in the rest of it.

Have been busy decluttering for city junk pick up and what I am taking to Spf for Tina's garage sale.  All I have left to do today is get a mattress & box springs out to the curb then tackle the storage shed.

Have a Wonderful Easter everyone!!!
Sandy

I'm so excited to have an entire day off in over a month.  My parents and grandparents, along with my kid are going to be here for dinner and Frank is going to grill some fresh salmon.  I'm so happy to have everyone here even if the day isn't the prettiest outside.  Last night we had several friends over and cooked out, then sat by the firepit and laughed until my sides hurt. ;)  Jan its funny you said I'm almost giddy, I am pretty happy with the way things are.  I have zero complaints and I'm so very thankful for everything that's happened for me with the help of this surgery.  I feel so much better even life seems that much sweeter.  Its hard to explain but I'm sure you all know what I'm trying to say.  I can't wait to see everyone at the meeting, Susan you will be skinny mini by the time we see you agian.  Renee, I hope you're feeling better and your surgery was a success.  Janet, I hope you're getting some relief from your pain.  I hope this day finds everyone happy and healthy.  HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! Im so happy this Easter day! I got to initiate a brand new class room at church today with my SS class. It is a really nice size room so we now have room to grow in #. We enjoyed a fellowship time this morning and of course if you know Baptists that means we ate some food and drank some coffee! lol I love my class...they are the greatest people in the world.

Then after church Rick and I took our kids and grandkids out to lunch at Hog Wild BBQ in Aurora........yummm yum! We had a great meal and lots of food and fun, and because of the coupons I buy off the radio, I fed all 12 of us for only $29...the bill was $71. Can you beileve that? Anyway, it always thrills my heart to get a bargain,

Yesterday while at garage sales, I bought myself 5 bags of clothes, and I mean stuffed bags, all for $18...lots of shorts for the summer and some tops, a couple of dresses and a skirt that I wore to church today...love to get bargains! lol

Hope everyone has a great EASTER and remember why we celebrate! HE IS RISEN...HE IS RISEN INDEED!

love to you all,

GOD is my ROCK!   SUGAR

I'm Back.....got through this week....they have a split family so lots of cooking all week. Provided food for all....my SIL's family, her sister's family and her xBIL's family as well as her mom and dad's...they had alot of family come in from Indiana, Ohio and Florida. All are great people and all I can do, to help with support and love. What a sad week. Jill was 32 and fought breast cancer for 10 years. She had two children. A girl 10 and a boy 8. What a young age to lose your mother. They have a great family to take care and lots of love from everyone. What a beautiful day to bury her.

We had our Easter dinner here at our house today. Was suppose to have it at my SIL house but with the funeral yesterday, she needed to relax so, I had it. Good thing we love each other, we had 15 people and my house is very small. LOL

My Chihuahua,  Baby, was upset most of the day, too many people for her. She wanted to eat anyone who hugged me. LOL.. she is so jealous. I hate that part, but it is kinda funny also.LOL

Hope everyone enjoyed their day however you celebrated.

Hugs; Barbara
