WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY

Well we just got home , went down to West Plains tonight to Vesta meeting... loved it had a really good time. boy they pitched a lot of questons...some I could answer and some I couldn’t ...but I had a good time . there were several there that hadn’t had surgery yet and of course they had the normal questions. Like I said they were a great group...and hope the best for all of them...

 

didnt get  a lot done today before we left to go to West Plains.  So Today we have to get really busy...I want the kitchen of the guest house done and cleaned ....Joe got the cabinet out that needed to come out so Big Red will fit in there. So while he is bracing up the floor where the stove will sit. I will get the wall paper up. And then I have curtains to put up in the kitchen ... still have to get curtains for the living room. There are some up in there but they aren’t what I want in there. 

 

Well so who do you all think has won the American Idol?  I think Adam will win but I would like for Kriss to win. I like him the best of course that is because I can understand him and with Adam all my ears hear is screaming most of the time. lol I said to me now so don’t get all upset with me .....everyone has their own ears to hear with.

 

 

SUSAN::::: I have a message to you from Vesta...she said to tell you that she is going to come up to see  me and not even come over to your house lol  I think she was kidding.

No she was really. Lol  wish you all would have come tho , you would have enjoyed it...

I went off my liquid diet at supper and had a small dinner salad. So that wasn’t too bad was it? will be back on it tomorrow for another few days....went to get ready for the trip down there and got out my levi size 10 low ride jeans and OMG they are almost too big

The low ride jeans on me just barely come below my belly button....im so short waisted that regular jeans the waist comes up under my boobs. The low rides feel so much more comfortable on me anyway....Oh I have some 8s in the closet I will try them on tomorrow ...oh wow I hope they fit .

 

 

LORI:::: good job on saving Molly...im glad the guy didn’t get to take her home....

Tell Jordan congradulations on wanting to work this summer ...that is good. I believe in kids working and learing a work ethic.

 

 

JO::::: Lol  I know several puppies that live better than a lot of kids. It is good that the puppies live well but sad that some babies live so badly...

Now what in the world are you going to do with that many fur babies? Yeah I think it is time to get someone fixed any way. Lol

LOU:::::we did miss you at the support meeting but understood where you were and why...those kids don’t know what they are getting into now do they ? poor things.

 

Hope you have lots and lots of work , that would mean that things were picking up again. don’t talk about neglecting the house, in the summer time I don’t get a lot done in the house lol ...untill it is shameful then I come in quite reluctantly and clean ....

 

 

 

Good Morning Jan And Everyone
Been up since around 5 Harley and Otto had to go out to potty.And Gail had to be at work by 6.
Today is pj day at school.They are suppose to wear their pj's.Should be lots of fun for them.Yesterday was their track and feild day.Nikki was tired last night .
Yes that is alot of babies. And yesterday mayos kittens finally came out from under the porch to check out the world.I thought there were only 6 of them cus i only counted 6 boobies LOL. But there are 7. They are adoreable.2 of them have the most beautiful blue eyes.
I am not sure what i am gona do with them all.I am very picky when i give them to new homes.I always want the name of the vet they use.Their address and ask if i can come check on them to make sure they are doing good.Also ask if they have small children,Because lil ones like to sqeeze kitties LOL.I had a lady one time say Sheesh i am just taking a kitten,not adopting a child. I told her well now yur not even taking a kitten.I know i am to picky but i want them in a safe loveing home with good people who will take them to the vet.They are like children they need checkups and vaccinations.

Jan did you see my question about planting potatos in yesterdays whats happening? Is it to late?And about the corn?

Today i am gona start just doing liquids for awhile. grouchy just isn't likeing food lately.So will do liquids see if that helps any. I think it maybe just from nerves.But i am tired of eating a bite or two and then haveing to go get sick.So will see what happens.
I have lots of hummingbirds this year and also 2 birds i have never seen before, They eat the nectar too. They are a lil bit smaller than a robin but one has beautiful bright yellow belly and the other has really bright orange belly and boy can they drink the nectar. Gotta fill both feeders about every 2 days .But i don't mind because they are so very pretty. Someone told me they are called house finchs but i thought finches were smaller. Whatever they are i enjoy seeing them.

Didn't get my cucumbers in yesterday so need to do that today.I can bread and butter pickles so need to get them planted.Would love to can green beans but don't know how LOL.My grandmother taught me how to do pickles. But she used a pressure cooker for her beans and tomatos. I would blow the house up useing one of those LOL.
Well better get around and get Nikki up for school. she is not a morning person ,except on weekends then she is up at the crack of dawn. Boys were same way LOL.

Pooh Im not the best authority on planting veggies but i did think that Potatoes have to be planted by March 17th but who knows If you have them already i would go ahead and plant them and see what happens....and same with the corm it has been so cool that it might be just fine....
I dont blame you about letting people adopt your babies....you need to know that they will be taken care of and loved. ...i alwsya say that if you cant afford to care for an animal , by taking it to the vet and feeding and careing for it right then you dont need one.   you see people that have all of these animals running around and they are so poorly cared for it makes me mad.

If you want to grow  green beans and such , instead of canning them , freeze them...get a seal a meal machine or even zip lock baggies and freeze them they taste great.  is a real simple process to doing that. and a lot easier than canning. I think canning is so pretty if you have a place to keep the jars of stuff but that really takes up a lot of room....I keep wishing i had a cellar....you know with shelves all on the sides and you could put your rows and rows of canned goods there .lol hmmm i wonder how hard it would be to dig one???? Hey Joe for our next project-----oh me he would kill me .....lol 
OH Forgot to say the other birds that are at your Hummingbird feeders are Orioles...probabley Orchard Orioles or courl even be Baltimore Orioles.  They also like taking an orange and cutting it in sections and putting it up off the ground on a platform of some sort and even like grape jelly in a dish. lol  they are beautiful...

Good morning everyone.the middle of the week already.time sure does fly by when you are having fun.lol.
it got a little cool here last night and is a little foggy.hope the sunshine come's out soon.they are calling for rain this weekend.

jan a small salad is good.that is what i had yesterday with lettuce from the garden.the lettuce leave's are soo big i had only 3.till i put some mushroom's and cumber's in there with some shredded cheese that is all i can eat.

vesta we are sorry we did not make it last night to your meeting.we do miss seeing you.hope to see you soon.

pooh bear.how are the kitten's doing?they all sound soo cute.my brother alway's has kitten's around his house.everytime he turn's around there are more.his son does not want to give any of them away.good luck with planting your garden.we have a fox that run's around here.

jo our two furry babie's live pretty good too.we spoil them.one of them snapp's at the other one once in a while but other wise they are pretty good kid's.

lori you are like us with pet's.we cannot see how some people treat them.i was born and raised on a farm.i love all kind's of pet's.our two furry babie's are side by side all the time.

susie hope you are feeling better.seem's like everytime my sister in law went to school she brought something home the kid's had.

peggy how are you feeling today.better we hope.we miss you too.

lou we missed you and your mom on monday night but we hope to get to see you next month.you are looking great.

i did weigh my self this morning.i have reached the 60 pound loss mark.yheeee.i do not go back to the doctor for another month.i feel soo much better.i would love to go to a zoo or a big park sometime.i know i could walk much better now.everyone have a great day.we love you all.god bless.susan.

 All kittens are doing good .The ones outside ventured out to explore the world so i got to see them.So very cute. Except all but 1 has eye infections. I think most kittens born outside usually get infections in their eyes. So will be going to the vet to get them something for their poor lil eyes.
My vet loves me LOL I think i pay him enough over the year to pay his house payments LOL.
There will be no more baby kitties after these cuz both mamas are going to get spaded.After haveing 7 kids at a time i would be the first one to jump on the table saying me first, me first LOL.

I have got to get into the garden to do some hoeing this week before it rains again. if not we will have weeds knee deep in there.  didnt that lettuce taste great??? we have squash just about ready to eat too.
I have picked a nice size bowl of strawberries almost daily for Joe and I for the last 3 days....

Good Morning Everyone!!  Oh it looks so nice outside.  I'm gonna get going & go out for a walk.  I worked out really hard yesterday & am a little sore today.  I can't wait for the weather to get warmer so we can get the pool going.Lori, I used to have a little dog named Molly.  She was a basset/lab mix, she looked like a big weenie dog.  lol  I loved her so much!  Shortly after we got her, a beagle came to our house that I named Max.  I truly believe they were in love!  They were so cute together.  So I love your names for you dogs.  Skyler & I are such HUGE animal lovers!  Lynn & his mom call me Ellie Mae. (from the Beverly Hillbillies) because I'm always bringing home animals.  Lynn always says "if you bring home one more animal, I'm gonna leave" . . . He's still here. . .  LOL  Right now we have 3 dogs (1 inside), a bunch of cats (2 inside) & a hedgehog named Quilliam.  Sky's wanting to get a female & breed them.  I don't know about that tho, we'll see.  Please tell Jordan that I am sooooo proud of him for wanting to get a summer job.  I wish Lynn's son would get it in gear & do something.  He is 20 yrs old & always says he's looking for a job, but will never do anything.  In fact that's why he moved out from our house, because we kept on him to get a job.  He smokes & wants all this stuff, but thinks everyone owes him.  His uncle Johnny (Lynn's brother) & Lynn's mom were just in from California.  Johnny talked to him about going out to CA  with him & doing some work for him.  (He lost is leg in a jet ski accident a couple yrs ago & just can't do everything anymore) & he used to have his own tiling business, so he still has ties to that & can get Steven trained & working hopefully!  I got my fingers & toes crossed.  lol  So anyway, Steven went back home with them & will hopefully get his a$$ in gear.Lynn had to go into work today for CPR & First Aid classes.  He should be home around noon or so, then we're gonna re-do the garden since nothings coming up.

I read up above that someone, I can't remember who now, lol  was wanting to go to an amusement park.  That is one of the things that I am looking most forward to this summer.  Getting season passes to Six Flags & riding rides & actually fitting in the seats & the water park!!!  OH, I can't wait.  But as cold as I stay all the time, it's gonna have to be REALLY hot or the water park might be more of a torture device than enjoyment.  lol

I guess I should go & get my walk in before Lynn gets home.

you know you arent alone with having a child that is older that wont work....have no idea what makes them think that way. Thank goodness none of my three are that way...they all work themselves to death...My son teaches full time at OTC , has his own computer repair business and also is in a Christian band that plays all over the state. oh yeah they are going to be at 6 flags sometime soon i think it is is next month....
I hope  his son gets with it out there. , i sometimes think that if everyone would quit doing anything for them maybe they would get with it and go to work...i mean no food , no letting them sleep in your house or watching tv. , no washing their clothes. ...is they want a meal tell them not unless you have cash for it right now and give him an amount , charge them 35.00 per night for a bed, 50 cents a load for dirty clothes, etc i wonder if that would work ...would be sort of fun to try it i think lol i guess im mean.
did you get your garden redone....better hurry it is suppose to be rainy this week end.

maybe you need you a wet suit like they wear deep sea diving to go to the water park.....that should keep you warm lol
