Update on Peggy

Peggy is out of surgery and waiting a room assignment. This is all I know right now because..........
I am the worse friend ever this morning , I got up this morning like every other Wednesday morning and began doing my normal things, like make the bed, laundry, etc and then about 10 AM I decided to watch some TV and then realized it was THURSDAY!!!!! I feel so stupid!!!!! I feel so bad and hope Peggy and Mark can forgive me. I hate to go now because I know she will be out of it. I will have to decide if today would be better to go or if I should wait and go tomorrow morning before heading out to see Jan. No, I have just decided to go now. I feel so bad, I can't believe I let her down like this. My heart is broken. I would never do anything to dissapoint or hurt any of my friends on purpose. I value friendship so much and here I am being the worst.

Just got back from seeing Peggy. She is doing remarkably well. She is alert and talking but in alot of pain. Her pain meds isn't working and they have to wait for Dr to give a new order. She gets to come home Saturday.

lol dont you beat yourself up over that ...it sounds like something i would do .....you are a great friend and Peggy knows that.......love and cant wait to see you tomorrow.  
is your granddaughter a picky eater ? or anything that your or she dont like at all?  let me know ok?

No Jan we aren't picky eaters. Don't go to any trouble, we will be fine.

Thanks for letting us know Miss Peg made it thru surgery.  I have been praying all day that she would do well and will continue to pray she is able to get the pain under control, and she has a speedy recovery.

I believe she wil do really well. She was so alert. They were to sit her up this evening for a while and maybe walk tomorrow. Mark says he is off until next Wednesday. I am sure she appreciates all the prayers.
