Make you smile photos!
The night of my first WLS seminar in Little Rock I met a new friend. we talked and I got my WLS and she restarted the process...now 2 yrs later she comes to see me 2 weeks before her own WLS...when I had mine I gave her all my fat pants and shirts. the stuff I had when I weighed over 500 lbs.
so I told her bring me a pair if you still have one...and she did...how many of us remember to keep something to take such a photo...LOL but I am in one leg of my pants...and in another I am in them with Catriona...we had to walk in them to the computer room for my forgotten CAMERA!
we all had a good laugh! My friend is so excited.her name is Tina she is 6ft3" tall and is weighing 530something...2 weeks into the 4 week liquid diet before WLS. she is so excited and we had such an uplifting visit! she has lost 75lbs pre surgery to be eligible for surgery.
please send positive vibes out..she is a high risker guys...she is told to get her affairs in order and has to go in the day before for a filter..blood clot issues. I know she will be fine! she is amazing and just glows with the knowledge of what she can gain with this tool and new life style!
today for her was icing on the cake!!she told me..."NOW I REALLY KNOW!!"
she has already shown these photos to her mom who had WLS about 5 yrs ago and who I have met and she just went nuts! LOL Tina's 9yr old son who I met last yr 4 months after surgery(STILL BIG)
he asked Will you look like that mom??
she said yup just taller!!!
and I chased her baby all day! she just smiled...she said in a few months Im gonna be doing that running myself! Thats good as I feel OLD tonight. had 6 little ones in and out today..Im pooped but had to give yall your smile. only here is it truly known what it really means!

You got me all excited reading your post.. I was all GIDDY... like I was the one about to have the surgery! I am so happy for her. Please, give her my well wishes and I will pray for her and a speedy recovery. I will keep wonderful thoughts too. Please, keep us all informed! You have my # chicc, you better figure out how to use it. LOL... the kids and I are going out of town tomorrow for the weekend... I've been to the pool 2x this week, getting my tan on.. But I have a bad blemish on my face from too much sun. I have had it for a while but it is getting worse... Anyways, I could just picture you and Catrina in the pants LOL... You go girl!! I am so ready for the KC Zoo this sunday!! Bring it on!! lol. Then,in 2 weeks we are going to Oceans Of Fun for our last big outting for the summer. Funds are tight, but the kids have been really good this summer and we need to get out of Joplin sometimes. We have a busy school year coming... Jordan will be playing Football, basketball and track and field, Jarett will be doing Football, Wrestling and basketball and a Jazlyn will be doing Girl Scouts, B-Ball, Soccer and Softball. Ppl ask why I am not going back to school and sinced I am the only driver... I have to wait another year or so. Jordan will be driving next year... But, right now the kids are young and with me being the only parent around I need to put the kids and their acitvities #1. They are only young once and I need to let them have all the opportunities they can while they are young... okay, I am rambling... hit me up and let me know how you are doing... I have some pictures but I cant seem to get them uploaded :( talk to u later!!

Isn't it wonderful that the good from this surgery goes even further than what it has done for us physically but we can reach out and be an advocate for others going thru what we have been thru?
