you are so right and I didn't know I could walk as fast or as far as I just did....I'm better now. Whew! Just had to deal with it (no cigarette, no food, just coped).

You need to stop right now and count to ten.
Then, you need to talk to God and ask him for guidance on this.
You have made amazing progress. Don't let one missed opportunity cause you to self-destruct. Yes you are ticked off! But it just wasn't right. This way you still have 3 weeks to make sure work will be ok, that your family will be ok, that you have the right items in your cupboards and fridge. God has you right where he wants you, in His hands.

The doctor's office faxed it Wednesday...I just gof off the phone with Tricare and they need 3-5 days for approval. There was a cancellation on doctor's schedule for Tuesday, but I'm not going to make it.....

I know you are disappointed but just remember this is a big step in your life and we don’t want to ru**** Take this time to prepare for your surgery and it will be here before you know it. I put you on the schedule for Sept 16th or 17th whichever you prefer. Both dates are available. I will get in touch with you as soon as I get the approval from TriCare. Have a great weekend!
I am so indignant...I KNOW this is a big step.....I've been preparing 3 months and YES, I want to ru****! I have a bad attitude 'bout now. 
I should be happy I have a date, but instead I'm seething....ugh.

Find out where the communication broke down. If your office didn't send the info, then make sure they fax or e-mail it to the insurance company TODAY. Then call your insurance company and ask how much notice they need to approve you. Then PRAY!

Topic: Hattiesburg Support Group - Tues Aug 26th 6:00 pm
There is another Weight Loss Surgery Support Group that has formed in Hattiesburg, meeting the fourth Tuesday of every month. It doesn't matter what type of surgery you are having or have had, nor does it matter who your surgeon is. All are welcome!
This will be my first meeting AFTER my surgery. WOO HOO!

You do not have to be a patient of Dr. Avara to come. If you just want to ask questions or just sit and listen to what others have you say, you are more than welcome to come!
I thought I would pass along this information just in case any of you also wanted to come.

It is, and I do not have photoshop or anything to edit it with! I feel awkward, (the word I'm trying not to use is nekked) not having an avatar.
I was just notified that though there is a cancellation for Tuesday surgery schedule, my doctor's office has not submitted my insurance information in time to get approval for Tuesday. The next available surgery date is mid-September. I am so crushed. It's a blow to the hard work I've done for the last three months....ughhhhhhhhh.

What kind of problem are you having? Most likely, your photo is at too high a resolution or had too may gigs to be uploaded.

Dr. Avara is the 2nd doctor I met with and he was exactly what I needed. Very personable, understanding, AWESOME support staff. He is more interested in you as a patient, than your pocketbook. His office hosts seminars on Saturdays that you can go to for free to find out more. And if you want to meet with him, it's $50 on that Saturday. Or his office also hosts support groups every month. There you will meet people who have had or will have both types of weight loss surgery. And those people will freely share their experiences with you.
