Topic: 2nd fill tomorrow
Tomorrow is my 2nd fill. I had no problems with my initial fill so I don't anticipate any tomorrow. Except I am anticipating more restriction (obviously). So more mashed potatoes for me! YEAH!!
PBHLLLLT Dr. Atkins to your no carb-diet. :-D

Topic: Good Morning!
Good Morning. I hope everyone is doing well this morning. What are your plans for the day? Mine (and I suppose yours is too) is work, work, work. We are havign a fundraiser for our Patient Care Fund this afternoon from 4 -7. We are selling Swamp John's Fish, Chicken & Shrimp plates. Swamp John's is the KING of catfish in our area. It ALWAYS tastes the samy...yummy!!! I love me some Swamp John's. so proud the rain isn't suppose to move in until tomorrow. Our fundraiser will be in the parking lot of a local grocery store. Swamp John's has this really big travel kitchen. They set up and cook the fish etc. right on the spot. Better go get ready for work. It is going to be a long day. Hope you all have a good day!

Topic: RE: What did you have for supper?
Thanks for the prayers! You are so sweet to pray for me.
I just ate some Wendy's chili, and believe it or not, I didn't dump. Sometimes I can eat, other times no and I never know. It just beats all I've ever seen! I know I won't be able to eat the leftovers, at least I can't usually eat leftover anything. Anyway, I'm hanging in there, and I'm learning what does and doesn't work for me...what a new journey!
I love Smuckers Sugar Free Strawberry jelly with splenda. I loved it before WLS, as my hubby is diabetic and that's what we buy for him. (it used to be so good on a biscuit with bacon!) I also eat it in plain greek yogurt and cottage cheese. Sometimes I put SF jello in the yogurt and cottage cheese too. I have no trouble with soft foods, but am having serious trouble transitioning to more firm textures.

I was working late so I ate at my desk. I had a turkey sandwich with Havarti cheese on lite wheat with some prigles wheat stix. Not too exciting but it was good and did the trick. I would have rather had your dinner, though. LOL. I love me some collard greens.

Anita,
Bless your heart. I just said a prayer for you, asking the Lord to allow things to get better for you soon. I had trouble early out too. If you are near a Taco Bell, try some refried beans without the red sauce and cheese. You can thin them down a littel with a spoon of water. They have a decent amount of protein. Early out, this was my best friend. Cheese of any type was hard for me at first. It has a fair amount of fat and tends to be rubbery. I always got the foamies...ICK! Have you tried cottage cheese? I still eat cottage cheese real regular. I love to add a spoonof sugar free strawberry jelly. Yum! That is still a favorite of mine. Hang in there girl! It will get better!!
