Topic: 2 weeks out, stabbing pain in back?
Does anyone know what the stabbing pain in my back, behind my stomach could be? I've not had it until this afternoon and I've not done anything or eaten anything that would irritate my stomach? Sure lets me know it's there when I move!

Sue,
Lisa Branan hosts these Support Groups. Her e-mail is: [email protected]
She also hosts meetings in Ocean Springs. I'm not sure where you live so I don't know which one with closer for you. We'd love to have you regardless of what surgery you had. I forwarded your question to Lisa, because I don't know if anybody has had that specific procedure. I'll let you know what she says though.
Hope to see you tonight,
Tammy

Jay, My fill went wonderfully well!
I lost 10 lbs pre-surgery and 16 lbs post-surgery for a total of 26 lbs. YEAH!!!
I waited about an hour for Dr. Avara to come in. He was only in the room for about 5 minutes for the fill. He had me lay down on the bed, lifting my legs up from the bed about 6 inches. He felt on my abdomen, locating my port. Dr. Avara then sanitized my abdomen. He had me lift my legs up 6 inches again. He popped in the syringe, giving me 3 1/2 cc. Dr. Avara even laughed at how loose my pants were. No pain, no problem. My husband however, HATES needles. And I thought he was going to faint when he saw the size of the needle. I admit I was a little nervous, especially after hearing some of the ladies complain about it in the last support group. But it was really nothing.
Then I celebrated by going to America's Thrift Store and buying 5 or 6 new shirts. WOO HOO!!
Thanks for asking,
Tammy
