Pre-surgery Diets; What Did You Do?
Very important and if he's a good surgeon he probably will not do surgery until you do it. I wouldnt say there's a health quick way to do it. Personally,, I have heard of people who do it but, I have also heard of people who have gotten themselves into trouble that way too..
I lost 25% of my weight before surgery and it was a lot of work.. I am convinced that my ease through surgery and post op had MUCH to do with the work I put in 7 mos prior to surgery.
I personally did not find a fast way to do it... You wont do it lifting weights alone...
What diet are you fallowing??
Are you doing cardio too???
You really have to do all..
My pre-op week I went HIGH protein low carb.

High protein, low fat, low carbs for the nutrition. Ramp up the cardio to the max - treadmill, eliptical, etc. If you're gonna do weights, use light weights with high reps (12-15). You are gonna lose some muscle mass post-surgery, but don't get too worked up about that. After you heal completely from your surgery and the Doc gives you the OK, you can go back to weight training, You'll have to take it easy and work up to heavier weights very slowly, but the muscle mass will come back if you consistently work at it.
Good luck to ya!

I am definately in the minority here! MY doc told me not to worry about it and just not to eat 24 hours prior to surgery. I had an inaurance mandated 6 month supervised diet prior to the surgery. This was my 6 month last supper! Igained 20. I ate good! I don't recomend this to anyone, but it worked for me.
