What should I do?
However, putting ourself last is how we became over weight to start with......try to make a early appt or a very late appt . Tell your new employer you need to go in late or leave early one day and also let you employer know you are willing to make up the time. Tell them you had surgery if you have too and need follow up appts. You do not have to explain what kind of surgery. Hope this helps
You are going to need to do your follow-up appointments. You won't need many, but you will need to go. It's a commitment you made to yourself and your program. I absolutely understand about not wanting to cause a problem with your job. As others have suggested, I'd let them know that you have a follow-up appointment and if necessary would be glad to work later if necessary to make sure they get the help they need.
Wishing you all the best as you take care of yourself for the short and long term.

Take care of yourself first and foremost or else you'll end up being no help to anyone. Offer to make up the time with shorter lunch breaks or whathave you. You can always reschedule but make sure you keep these appointments as close to Dr. Mac's suggested times as you can.
