Roll Call - Who's out there?!?!
Hi, my name is Lisa. I am at the begining stages of the process. Just met with Nancy last week & set up all my initial appts with Dr. Wagner, the nutritionist & PT. I am really excited as I read about other people's journeys. I am starting to lose my pre-op weight and looking forward to moving things right along. If anyone has any advice, I'd love to hear it!!
Thanks!
HI Everyone! I am still here! Life has been busy lately, between work and family obligations I feel like I am lucky if i get to do the laundry (not that it's a chore that I enjoy, mind you!!) Life seems to be going along well, no problems with dumping, am able to eat anything, as long as I remember to eat slowly! I have been trying to limit pastas and breads to only once a week, and then only have them after I've already gotten my required protein and veggies in! Have been enjoying the compliments I have received lately from both Don's family members (who had not seen me since the holidays) and from people at work (they are cute, come up and whisper.. "what's your secret ? you are looking great!!") To those who knew about the surgery I tell them how its changed so many things in my life. to those who did not know.. i just say that I am following my doctor's instructions for nutrition and exercise (which in reality is true!!)
Hope you are all doing well... I can't believe I am only 40 pounds from my goal now (and only 11 away from "onederville"!) - it does not seem possible!
Have a great week!
Tammy
Hi Becky,
Wow your hit 100. That must be exciting. I still have 13 to go to hit my 100. It is really starting to come off slow. I think I am at a plateau
.
But hopefully the scale will move again. I have 25 to go to my personal goal. But if I stopped today I would still be happy. Wow you have been busy this summer. I missed July's support group as it was hubby's and my 36th anniversary. I decided he was more important. Well you take care and keep up the good work. Tell your friend hi ( awful, I don't remember her name) and I will probably see her in a couple of weeks. Talk to you later. Roxanne
