Dana, if you are slacking, this is an excellent thing to do. I will be there doing video but I want to talk to people in your situation. You will thank yourself for doing something about it now before it gets out of hand. We have to understand how we can mess this up and every event you go to has more and more information. I learn LOADS of stuff every time I go. Now they can't shut me up! hahaha Dr. Terry Simpson is way cool, Dr. Katzen knows his stuff, I met Dr, Marcy in California and the ladies seem to really REALLY like listening to Jeremy. hugs, Y

Hi I was reading your board here because I'm coming to the event next weekend and I hope you don't mind me "weighing in". It is a natural part of the process. For me food was my only friend except my cats. I was taking a chance that I'd have to give up my best friend. I found out though that when I lost the weight that there's a whole bunch of stuff out there besides food....and it's even BETTER! I was obese for 30 years and this was it for me. Do or die. That was 6 years ago and I can't tell you the difference in my life. I hope this helps you. hugs, Y

I was just dropping in to say hello to this board since I haven't been here before. I will be at the event with camera in hand! I'm looking forward to seeing Vegas again! It's been about ten years since I've been there. My college cello teacher lives there and I'd love to see him again. I am looking forward to meeting people in this part of the country. Dr. Simpson spoke at a seminar in 2004 and I never forgot him. I am looking forward to seeing him again too. So to explain part of my function, have you seen the OHTV videos from California? I'll be shooting some video (I'm not nearly as funny as Bill is on those) but I'll be there doing video. At the same time I want to talk WLS. It is my passion and I just can't shutup. My surgery was 6 years ago and it has changed my life. I have so much to share and I am so excited. hugs, Y p.s. Hello. I was planning to be there. I'd love to see you. Hey -- do you think it would be silly / hard / fun / worthwhile to organize any roller coaster trips? Any interested pos ops could get photos or video of themselves riding for the first time (ever, or first time in years). Just a thought.

If you are going to start eating healthy I would join a gym and start working out. Get your body in the best shape possible before surgery. Plus once you start working out, your body will be more willing to want to eat healthy. This what my doctor told me before I had my tummy tuck. Good luck.
