CONGRATS GIRLY!! Sorry I was out of the loop earlier, but congratulations on your new life!! Hopefully soon we will all go shopping and get some hot new clothes..lol...Well remember walk as much as you can because you will defintely recover faster than normal. When I was in, I did not wait for anyone to tell me to walk. I got up 2 hours after my surgery and walked and I never stopped since then, so good luck missy. Also, keep drinking as much as you can because you will get dehydrated FAST!! Take Care and can't to hear from you soon.

Hi Angela!
Welcome to Vegas! I'm a "newbie" around here. I had RNY last Nov. and have lost 82 lbs so far. I still have another 40-50 to go. I missed the last outing, so count me in too!

I came from S Cali back in '96 but I had my surgery in Los Angeles. I traveled a few times from Vegas to there for surgery.
I am ready to go to Town Square any weekend....does anyone have Sunday open? The weather is getting nice and I can push my grandson around, let him crawl in the park, etc.

I moved here from Los Angeles. I love the desert. Really digging the wind today.
I have gone up and down since my surgery. My highest was 168- my lowest was 130. I like the 145-150 range. I was 165 when I moved to Vegas in August. I have dropped 15 and I was not trying. It's somewhat of a mystery. I don't know if it is my new teaching job. Perhaps i'ts the fact that my bedroom is upstairs, so at night when my "food-seeking-vampires" come out (I have always been a huge night nibbler) I am too lazy to walk downstairs. LOL
Enjoy the wind,
Angela

Hi Angela....welcome to Vegas, where did you move from? Sounds like you have done an amazing job with your weight loss, 16 years and 150 lbs, thats awesome!!! I had mine back in 2003 and have put on a few lbs over the past two years but I try to get out as much as I can to take my lil grandson for walks in his stroller, especailly now that the weather is getting nice. Keep in touch....
