lamo....I actually considered slipping that seat belt extender in my pocketbook on several occasions...lol. I am flying on the 15th....so hopefully that will be my last time having to use one. :)

Hi Tammie --
Thank you very much! Good luck with your surgery. It is exciting, isn't it? I travel a lot on business and seat belt extenders had become a way of life. I'd actually considered buying one of my own so I didn't have to keep asking for one on every flight. It just sucks. And yeah, I haven't needed one since surgery. And I smile every time I can fasten those seat belts.
What surgery are you getting? I'm so excited for you. I am so happy I had my rny. I wish you the best of luck (little pain, no dumping, and one success story after another).
Hugs!!

Thanks for getting it! OMG! A large is too big. Wow. How awesome! I can't image myself fitting into medium sized sweat pants -- it's just been so long that it's hard to believe some day it might happen. I bet Disney was a whole lot easier at a size large than it was for me the last time I went.

congrats to you!!! My surgery is on 7/19 and I'm so excited to see all these success stories :)
I can only imagine what you must have felt like buying a reg size shirt....I can't wait for that day myself.
A big one for me will be not having to ask for a seat belt extender on the plane...lol.
Again I'm so happy for you- keep up the good work.

Topic: RE: OSU Med Center and Billing for WLS
I did have to pay a deductible up front, my part which was $5,000 but they can't charge me any 'full amount' in advance because the bills first go to insurance then me. I was asking if you had any bills you owed after insurance, did they let you make payments? I wasn't referring to the up front cost, sorry for the confusion! I was also told by both the coordinator in charge of insurance submissions and a financial service rep that works on the actual office in the hospital that I will be able to, in case that helps anyone!

I was never given an option for pymts. Had to pay in my portion in full up front. I have OSU insurance so not sure about other plans.

Hi Joanne and all,
I appreciate it and yes I know I will never been over traveling down the road to my weight loss. I knew that this was going to be a lifestyle not just a diet anymore. Thanks for all the support. I am hoping that maybe sometime if I can get the time to start up a support group around my area since all seem to be either north or south of me. Again thanks for giving me a place to perch!
Blessings,
Kat :)
