Back to the ER again

I posted a few days ago that my incision started leaking. Well, today the home care nurse sent me back to the ER because my abdominal area was red and warm to the touch. I had to wait around to see a surgeon because the ER doctor wanted to rule out if there was an abess under the skin. My incision is no longer draining and there is no abess. I am on IV antibiotics for the next three days just as a precaution to avoid infection. I was at the hospital for 7 1/2 hours. Boy don't you love our ER department !!!!!!
