1 Month post op

Well I couldn't be more thrilled. One month out, and i'm in Onderland!!! The scale reads 199 this morning, and I scared my daughter because I was jumping up and down!! LOL. I'm down 32 pounds since Optifast. People are noticing, especially in my face and tummy. But the most compliments I get has to do with the sparkle in my eye!! LOL

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Doing the happy dance for you! I remember when I hit Onederland, it is such an awesome feeling, nothing could wipe the smile off my face the whole day!!!

I can't believe it's been a month either! It flew by and my energy level suddenly doubled too. Although I keep getting up at 6:30 before the alarm, and I keep thinking I can't possibly get up, and yet I have the energy to do it and not be exhausted! Such a nice change!!
