Maybe the time change will help?  Who knows, but I'm hoping you can shake it soon, you "poor baby"

Huggles!

Sorry you're not doing well, Megan.  Sometimes I find that doing something creative and maybe a little messy, like painting or playing with clay (like fimo or sculpey) gives me a distraction from mind/heart hunger, and I can't eat if my hands are dirty.  Or try something you need to keep clean like knitting or sewing, so you can't eat while your doing it.

Creating something also can be uplifting and therapeutic when you are in a funk.  I took a 3 hour card-making class one evening this week, and it was as refreshing as taking a day's vacation.

At least you get an extra hour this weekend to curl up and do nothing! Hope you're feeling better soon.

I imagine most people feel like this from time to time. I think the change of the season does it to most. I'm sure you take your D3 vits and B12.
Another poster said the euphoria of a quick weightloss and then it slows down might have something to do with it too. Not that I know, at least not yet.
Hang in there until it passes, you have a positive attitude.

Ah, sorry to hear that you're in a "blue funk" Megan - I just hate when that happens to me. I've found that I can't make myself "snap out of it" either - I just have to let it run it's course & let myself be totally self-centered for a few days. I catch up on my reading, watch some good movies & music videos, drink tea & hot cider & cups of chicken or beef broth - for some reason that always satisfies me. Make sure that you're taking your vitamins, buy yourself some new pj's or a cuddly throw & just ride it out. I've been down with an upper respiratory infection for the past 2 weeks & managed to get my Christmas cards addressed with short notes to everyone.  That's one Christmas task out of the way - they're ready to send when the time gets closer. Maybe there are some Christmas tasks you might be able to get out of the way now....Hope you feel more like yourself soon...

I'm so bad with Christmas cards.  I get them ready early, then I forget to mail them or I procrastinate myself right into the new year.  I actually had someone phone me once to see if I was okay b/c she didn't get my yearly letter.  Maybe I should do that this weekend - since my son is a mailman I should have no excuses this time 'round!  But only after I buy myself a new pair of pants.  My faves are flapping around my saggy behind!

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora.  Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

Um, yep!  No excuses - go out and get yourself some decent pants that won't fall down & em"barrass" you & get to work on those  cards. Just think how impressed everyone will be at how on-the-ball you are this year - LOL!

Megan, if it helps...please know that you have a whole lot of people out here thinking happy thoughts and sending their positivity your way. Treat yourself with warm snuggly blanket and a couple hours of boob tube, and you might just find that when you wake up tomorrow, it's a better day. Hugs!

I've been there - I get into funk when I stall. I feel like poop when I work so hard and don't see results even though I know it's normal. Hugs to you!!! We are in this together, and it's not an easy road to walk down. But hey, we're doing it aren't we!?
