out of the hospital after surgery

Hello fellow Saultite! I am going for my surgery on Dec 5th at HRRH.

How long after your surgery did you fly home?

i had surgery Thursday am, was released from hospital Sat am and flew out Sunday at 11.  I just really needed to get in my own bed with my own stuff.  Hard to get all you need in you in a motel room.  I just find i'm so tired, but then i consider i've probably only gotten less than 200 calories in the last couple of days so that accounts for it, and a couple sleepless nights.  I'm now armed with some protein drinks and planning on having some cream soup, mmmm sounds so good something warm and thicker with a bit of flavour finally.  If you need any more advise or a local buddy Santo please feel free to add me, i know how it feels to live up here where it seems there isn't much support and we can all use all we can get.
