For all the experienced people out there
Any suggestions on how to keep my food warm? I am allowing approx 1 minute or more between bites of food, taking the 15-20 mins to eat as suggested in my guide. The nice thing is that so far so good on the food staying down...had my egg today and had thin oatmeal with skim milk for supper. The only problem is that by the time you reach the 3rd or 4th bite the food is cold and not quite as appetizing.
Wondering if anyone experienced this and if so did you find a remedy? I am thinking of maybe one of those coffee mug warmers or a baby bottle warmer etc. but if you have a solution, I would luv to hear it.

I just looked at some older postings and peaople suggested the candle or the coffee cup warmer. I will have to get myself one for when I have my surgery.

Sometimes you just put one foot in front of the other, even if you don't know where you're going.

i dont know if they still make it or not, but i remeber years ago a bowl with a built in/screw off bottom thing that you filled with ho****er to keep baby food warm, they suggestion for thermos was good to, it should keep food fairly warm while you make your way through your meal. good luck, and let us know how you make out.
I wonder if one of those coffee pot warmers would work. Might find on in a thrift store. You know the ones...like a plate warmer used to keep a single Bunn coffee pot warm when it is served away the actual coffee maker.
alternatively - how about a heating pad sandwiched between two plates - one to protect table and one to hold food?
