Got my date it is April 30th in Guelph with Dr Jules Foute..I can't wait..So many questions..What happens in the pre op?? What do I take to the hospital? Is the pain alot? Does anyone have any advice for me??

I can't help with your questions as I just got my date yesterday! I was so excited that when I first posted I forgot to tell everyone the date.

I have mine with Dr Jules Foute on Wednesday. He is awesome. At preop they just do blood work, and ecg and then you meet the anestesiologist. It isnt a big deal. I was there at 8am and left at 1030 from the hole thing nurse and all.. they just ask you questions and let you know where to go when you go in for surgery and what to bring and not to bring. I dont know about the pain as i havent been through it.

Thanks for the information and congrats to you also!! I hope everything goes great for you on Wednesday, I will be thinking of you...Did they weigh you again in post op?? did you take all your meds with you that day?? or just a list of them?? Thanks again
