Premier portion shakes

I'm with the clinic in Ottawa, and have spoken with them about this exact topic (since week 1)

I am not a morning person (at all).. I have never been able to eat "food" before 10am or so.

They have given me the green light to do the following...

6am - Premier Protein shake with my vitamins

8am - water at work (600 ml)

10am - water at work (600 ml)

sometime between 11:30 and 12:15 I eat my lunch (depending on when I finish my water)

They are totally ok with it.  Green lights from both the NP and the Dietitian

At the end of the day I get between 85-95g of protein... so the morning shake is not considered a supplement in their eyes.  I don't have any other shakes or supplements during the day.. all the rest of my nutrition comes from food.

Other clinics may have other formats to follow.

Better to have one for breakfast than skip breakfast, but ideally you should eat, not drink breakfast.

I use them as breakfast most days and did from early out.  Now a days I  might  add 1/2 frozen  banana and some powdered peanut butter. Do what works for you.
