5 Months. NSV list!
I am 5 months Post op now. It's amazing how fast the time is moving... In some ways I want to slow it all down and enjoy it all a little more... and in other ways I want to ru**** along ... (especially the weight loss).
I started at 258.4 lbs and as of this morning I am at 179.6 lbs... total loss of 78.8 lbs in 5 months. I still need to loose 69.4 lbs to be at my "goal" weight.
NSV's
*If something falls on the floor of my car I can now pick it up without having to get out of the car.
*I can drive my sister in laws Jeep without having to drive with my tippy toes and my belly on the steering wheel.
*I can sit on a backyard swing and pull my legs up to my chest.
*I can cross my legs
*I can walk up stairs without getting winded.
*I can fit in ANY seat.
*I feel for the most part that food does not control me.
*I am in a size 14 pants jeans...and not streachy ones.
*I blend into the crowed for the most part. I'm NEVER the fattest person in the room anymore.
*I have collar bones and bony shoulders.
*I sleep way better now.
*I can wear heals for longer periods of time.
*I'm bike riding
I am sure there are lots more but that is just a few. :)
Hope everyone is doing great!

Such wonderful things that people take for grant until they can't do them.
I can't wait to experience every single one of them!
excellent Juls !!!! I was checking them off the list also as I went along with yours. Although I have never really done the whole "heels" thing, lol. But the driving with no steering wheel in the belly thing is a big one. And the seats. Even at my weight I find them do-able. U keep up the good work !!! Love your posts as always.
These are great NSV's, Juls! Congrats on your success to date - you are ROCKING your RNY!
