Why am I soooo tired and sleeping all the time post-op?
Hi Nadine, you are probably tired for 2 reasons: 1. You have to really try to get those fluids in - it's very important and 2. Your body just went through major surgery and is recuperating. You are going to be tired for a little bit, don't worry, it will pass!!
I'll try calling you again today.

Nadine,
Try to get the fluids in and as much protein as you can. It really hasn't been that long since surgery so you are still adjusting to all the changes. Hang in there it really gets better. I still get really tired sometimes and I am 4 months out. I promise it really does get better. Take care.

It's only been a week since your surgery, of course your going to get tired. Your energy will pick up as your body heals, but a tired feeling means you body need some sleep. Listen to what it is telling you. Don't forget to walk and drink, but don't forget your body is in a healing process right now either. Take care your journey has just begun.

Your surgery was only one week ago. Be easy on yourself. It takes time to feel really well. I found that for a couple of weeks I only went out for very short times. Don't feel bad about the liquid and protein. That too takes time to get it all in. In the beginning the liquid is even more important than the protein and 80% is pretty good.
Keep feeling better.
