4 WEEKS FROM TODAY

The 4th of July is exactly four weeks from today and for those of you whom have followed my journey know that is the day I run in my very first race, a 5K in Downingtown.  I just thought it was time for a little update and a self-pat on the back.  I finally came in under 27 minutes at 26:45, which computes to 8:55 per mile.  Say I am proud of me, I am proud me hey, hey, hey.  A man is allowed to dream and I'd love to get that to under 25 minutes by race day.  Anyway, I thought I'd share with my OH buds and maybe serve as a little inspiration for everyone else.  After all, just 15 months ago I rocked the scales at 365 pounds.  Thanks for letting me gloat and take care. Sincerely, Forest Gump, er, Andy Kovatch 365/190/190

You more than deserve to pat yourself on the back.  That is wonderful.   Keep setting your goals, and you'll work hard to reach them.  I'm sure you can accomplish under that time in 4 weeks.   It's an inspiration what you're doing, and I hope some day soon, I will also be able to run in a race (it was my first goal I set up....  not to walk, but RUN)  I'm proud of you, and you have the most wonderful support team behind you!  Keep it up!

Fantastic!  You are doing an amazing job - I couldn't even think about running and I did on the treadmill the other day - for a whopping 30 seconds (about 29 1/2 more then I could do before) you truly are an inspiration!! Liz

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
